Hotel was great from check in to check out. Great location right in the middle of downtown. Room was about average for a medium rangge hotel and the bed was very comfortable. Self parking was a little steep for San Jose at $25, but it was very convenient right next to hotel.

Nothing outstanding about this hotel but it was very convenient if you love nightlife. Within walking distance to many things, especially bars and restaurants. The one problem we had was with parking. Not sure if the lot is always small or if part of it was blocked off for some reason but it was a challenge both evenings we were there. We got a really good rate and free parking but only because we searched for it.

Our first time a colleague and I were traveling for a conference from the East Coast. We flew all day and never been to San Jose or the Sheraton! We were greated by Huy and a very genuine smile. Through out our stay the personnel were extremely helpful and very kind! Huy,Bella and Tim wnet our of their way to accomodate us with directions, suggestions , maps and smiles every time. The rooms could be considered a little small like a boutique hotel would have. But they were quiet and clean with... Read more

Only trouble I had was accessing wifi on my mobile phone. Other than that and the bed being a tad uncomfortable, I very much enjoyed the service and it is an aesthetically pleasing venue. The people at the front desk were very friendly and the close proximity to the convention centre is great.

My first impressions were good except I noted that the third floor seems tired and worn looking. Very narrow hallways, dim lighting and worn carpeting. My room was small but had a king bed and large bathroom. Good for one person and everything was clean. Upon checking out I was shocked when reviewing my bill. There was a $70+ charge from the restaurant the night I arrived but I did not eat there. There were 4 days of parking adding up to $100 but I had no vehicle. This appeared to be "negative ... This was a big surprise. Typically I am used to 4points being rather shabby. This hotel was a gem. It had a botique feel with modern amenities. My room on the 4th flr was modern clean and large. Plenty of places to charge a phone or computer too. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant/bar was great as well. Great food and drinks combined with courteous and attentive staff. It's what I've come to expect with SPG... Always above and beyond. The hotel also has a par... Read more

This downtown hotel is one block from the convention center, very centrally located, with friendly staff. It is a very nicely updated old "boutique" hotel with under 100 rooms. It is very quiet with very large rooms. The very clean updated rooms have tubs and small refrigerators. However, as other guests have noted, the beds are quite worn for such an upscale property. For the $300 daily rate, you should be guaranteed good beds. I would have rated the hotel much higher, but I consider bed ... Read more

A nicer small hotel conveniently located in downtown San Jose. Too bad the beds are so worn. Nicely updated large rooms. Very clean with friendly staff but it is hard to ignore the bedding. Wish I could be more positive.

Very nice and friendly people. The area was nice and convenient. The little patio was very nice too, great having lunch there; especially at night. Plus, the rooms were amazing. Love to come back again.

My room seemed to be an afterthought rather than designed into the original plan. My first clue was that the room number did not follow the hallway signage - it was out of order rand it was the only room in the hall next to the elevator. My second clue was my view was overlooking a roof surrounded by three walls that reached up two more floors on all sides to a sun roof. But it was nice and comfortable.

Glad I book this hotel for my stay over in San Jose. I like being able to find a good meal and some entertainment right where I'm staying, especially when it is just for one night. Service was excellent across the board.

Came to San Jose on a Mileage Run trip, and had to stay one night. As I didn't rent a car, I was hoping for a hotel with convenient transportation. Four Points SJC downtown turned out to be a great choice. Right in the city center next to the light rail station with most of the downtown points of interests near by. It's convenient to get to/from the airport, too, with the light rail and bus connection. Staff were really friendly and always willing to catch up with a nice little chat. Room was l... Read more

This is a nice, affordable (for San Jose) hotel in a great spot. Plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby and a quick walk to San Jose State U. Hotel is nicely appointed and modern. Rooms aren't huge but aren't too cramped either. The hotel, and the rooms, are clean and the staff is very helpful.

I came for a day after expecting a good nights sleep. The A/C set up a little confusing but it worked well. I could breathe well, no smells, blissful! The king sized bed awesome, 4 different pillows, a silky comforter and a light feather quilt. The noise came from the hallway, and from the building construction next door in the morning, a little too early for me. I had been waking up every hour on the hour it seemed. I like staying here for business when the rates are right--they do fluctuate but some weeks you can get a room in the $200 range. The hotel is clean, modern and comfortable. The staff is friendly and professional. An added bonus is the free pass to the 24-Hour Fitness right across the street. It's a large gym with lots of equipment. Be forewarned that the rooms can be a little noisy since the hotel is in the airport flight path and the light rail station is right outside.

Room was very comfortable and the size was adequate for two people. Housekeeping did an excellent job of cleaning and maintaining the room. Given the number of people occupying the hotel for the gymnastics trials, the noise level was acceptable and posed no problem.

Very nice staff and super cute. Smaller hotel, only 4 floors but it's nice. Very quiet and rooms are nice. Comfortable beds and overall nice and clean room. The elevators are really small and take forever though. There's light rail right outside that attracts some odd characters but it never bothers you. Close to lots of shopping and restaurants. Easy walk to SAP center.

The Four Points is a boutique hotel in downtown San Jose. The building originally housed the Hotel Montgomery and was built in 1911. The service here is always top notch, from the parking attendants, to the cleaning staff, to the front desk team - very professional and friendly. The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, shops and museums.

We were totally impressed with service at the Four Points by Sheraton San Jose downtown. From the moment we arrived at the parking lot to the time we left, we were made to feel like family. The parking lot attendant was extremely helpful and welcomed us to a great time. The front desk personnel did everything they could do to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I would definitely recommend staying there to anyone who want to stay in downtown San Jose.

We stayed at Four Points 4 nights. The hotel is centrally located in downtown San Jose with everything is a quick walk away. We were in town to see Barbra Streisand perform at the SAP Arena and could easily have walked their from our hotel. The hotel staff was friendly and very attentive to our needs. I would highly recommend this hotel and we definitely will stay there again upon return visit to San Jose.

This Sheraton has a wonderful central location within walking distance of a wide selection of dining options as well as performance venues and local sights. Although the building is an older structure, it was gutted and renovated from top to bottom while maintaining its architectural integrity. It also offers self parking and well appointed, comfortable rooms.

This hotel was very convenient to the San Jose Convention center - walking distance of about 5-8 minutes. The front desk team was excellent, very friendly and helpful! The restaurant/bar (Mosaic) was reasonably priced and food was not bad. My complaints are the steep parking fee ($27 per day) and the tiny tiny gym - which only had one treadmill. Thus, I could not work out most of the days that I stayed here - someone else always got there before I did.

Hotel has some good points and a few not so good. The restaurant connected to it is fairly good, there is a nice patio on the main floor outside the hotel, the room is very clean. The staff was great. However, priced too high for the size of the room, also in the lobby there is a musty smell.
