As others have mentioned, the rooms are quite small but the decor does not feel old or tired. I know they have just renovated but it seems classy and well-maintained. Friendly and accommodating staff at the front desk.

Considering the prices in San Francisco this hotel offers a no-frills accommodation that won't break your budget. Our rooms were small but clean and comfortable. And service was also excellent. Location is a plus being just a couple of blocks away from Union Square, but if you don't want to stray away from the hotel the bar downstairs and the Spanish restaurant adjacent to the reception are excellent with young, lively crowds on these weekend nights we stayed there. Only downside like everywhere... Read more

We stayed a couple weekends ago for a trade show at the Moscone. We wanted somewhere accessible and within a reasonable walking distance from the show. The Warwick hotel was a great location. It is right next to Union Square, with loads of shops around. Rooms: clean and tidy, not terribly roomy. But great for those who don't spend much time inside while visiting this city. Wasn't keen on the pocket doors into the bathroom, but in terms of saving space they did a great job. We had our breakfa... Read more

My wife and I have stayed at the Warwick many times over the last 10 years. Its location, quality, and level of service always exceed our expectation. We have received price consideration as a "regular" guest which is always a bonus. I have no reservation in recommending the Warwick to anyone who is traveling to San Francisco.

Loved staying at the Warwick! Fabulous central location. Booked a junior suite and loved the extra roominess. Fireplace was in use for the whole weekend- added a nice warm touch. The balcony was great for watching the people on the sidewalks below. Nice bar and friendly bartenders. Everyone working at the hotel was genuinely nice. Would definitely stay here again!

The staff was friendly and efficient!! The rooms are clean and the hotels location is great!! But the restaurant and the bar might just be the biggest waste of space in San Francisco!! The parking is $10 more than is on the sign!! So save some money and park in the garage half a block down for $30 a day. If you have to cancel and used book it.com kiss your money good by so stick with this site instead!!!

Needed a hotel to stay for two nights while there for business. Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed. For the price, it was surpassed standards. Room, while small, was very nice with a great bathroom. Exactly what I was looking for as I wanted something high quality, seamless, comfortable for a quick trip. Note, location is good but very close to the tenderloin district if you wander north - which is a dicier area to be cautious of.

The staff at the Warwick is not only professional but very welcoming. The rooms are small but comfortable and offer all the amenities you need. The location is convenient and easy to walk to many to Union Square. Early check-in requested and granted, the lobby is attached to a restaurant on one side and a bar in the other. Great value.

Our room was clean and comfortable. We overlooked Geary St opposite the Clift Hotel. Noise was to the minimum. Our location to Union Square, shopping and restaurants were great but best of all was the hotel staff who were so helpful, friendly and courteous who helped us with our internet connections, an umbrella when it was raining, reserving our shuttle bus which was on time. A big THANK YOU to the Warwick. Will certainly recommend it to all my family and friends. This is an older, histor... Read more

We stayed four nights at the Warwick in San Francisco. It was conveniently located near the BART station and other public transportation. The hotel and room is very charming and the decor is simple but elegant. The room was pretty small, which is what we expected for a big city. It was quite clean, there's a fridge in the room, although the carpeting is getting a bit on the tired side. The majority of the front desk staff was very helpful and cheerful. The lobby/front desk area is small an... Read more
