Stayed 4 nights, room smallish for 4 people but did what it needed to. Great location, walk to Fishermans wharf or to the 'famous' section of Lombard st (steep short walk) easy catch of bus 28 to and from Golden Gate bridge, food options 4 or 5 blocks away. Room cleaned/tidied each day, great shower pressure. Bed very comfy. Walls are thin, heard conversations and road noise (Lombard St is multi-lane busy) all night. Breakfast is pastries and fruit so BYO bowls/spoons/cereal/milk/juice etc as fr... Read more

We stayed here for 2 nights in August. The room we had was on the first floor, it was big enough for a family of four. The beds were comfortable and the bedroom and bathroom were both very clean. The hotel has adequate parking for the amount of guests and it is free. The people on reception were friendly and offered lots of useful information. There is a breakfast served in the reception every morning, again this is free. Juice, coffee, pastries, fruit etc, fine for first thing in the morni... Read more

OK for a 2/3 night stay. read the breakfast reviews, others have mentioned it really is that poor Typical US motel, rooms tired and in desperate need of modernisation. poor / slow Wi-Fi Reception staff were very helpful , but the manager really does need to smile once in a while, always looks like someone or something has upset him. Rooms dated and was unable to get air con to work , but not too much of a problem mid September. Had to turn in room fridge off at mains as it was so noisy I was una... Read more

It is a simple motel, with parking, mini-fridge, wifi, cable, and clean rooms. I was staying for a conference at Fort Mason. Very satisfied and excellent value relative to the area. It is a little loud as it is on Lombard St, but if you close the windows or have ear plugs, there are no problems.

To all intents and purposes this is what I term as a traditional American Motel and ideal for a two or three night stay. The Motel is in a reasonably good location and was nice and clean. They do offer a type of breakfast which consists of the equivalent of Danish pastries, fruit, orange juice and coffee. Not massive, but adequate to get you going. Not to everyone's taste though. This has to be collected from the reception area and you take your snack on a tray back to your room to consume. Sham... Read more

We had a double queen room which was a good size and clean. The hotel is friendly and is located well in San Fransisco. It's about a 20 minute walk to the Alcatraz tour ferry which is recommend. We then got a cab to the Golden Gate Bridge which I was about $18.

This motel is a good value place on Lombard Street which is not far from the front. About 15 mins from Fisherman's Wharf and 10 mins from the famous windy street. The rooms are fine, the bathrooms are fine and you get free wifi. The beds were very comfortable. There's parking on site You get breakfast but be aware it is very minimalist. Coffee, orange, some fruit and prepackaged pastries which you have to take back to your room. Compared to the price of other motels this is a good value pla... Read more

This was a nice little hotel with a nice staff. We were able to walk to fisherman's wharf and we arrived 6 hours before check in and they let us use there free parking. The only negative was a terrible breakfast of wrapped pastries.

It's not a four star hotel, but it provides everything one needs to visit San Francisco: FREE PARKING; walking distance to the Lombard Street point of interest and to Fisherman's Wharf; clean room; refrigerator; breakfast (continental, but better than nothing). I definitely recommend it. PS- It may not be the cheapest in the area, but it was best value for me when I did my research.
