"I booked a romantic weekend for my wife's birthday and wanted to spare no expense. I booked this '4-star' hotel and what a bust. Room was tiny. Was promised a view of the bay and only had a view of buildings. Nothing was complimentary. Not even wifi. Parking was valet ONLY at a rate of $54.75 per day!!! And automatically charged to you. For what I paid for the room, wifi, &parking should have been free. WAY too expensive for such little value!!! "

"Having decided to make our vacation to San Francisco, we'd had a recommendation from a friend after he and his wife had a great experience there. We were NOT disappointed!

The facility was marvelous, our upgraded room's view was lovely, the food (and cocktails) were marvelous and the staff treated us like royalty.

The location of this hotel is very convenient; we enjoyed our walks and trips on public transportation to many, many of the sites of San Francisco.
