Went to S.F. for Xmas holidays and a stage show and found the newly remodeled Hotel Zeppelin which has a fun, contemporary rock 'n roll theme featuring the '60's. Warm lobby, downstairs game room. Stylish efficient room all near Union Square, trollys, major stage theaters, shopping, and in the 'better kept' area of S.F. We will go back the next time we're in town for a show! Oh yes, great staff, from the curb on, and well priced too!

Firstly when we arrived we were not advised on holding fees, hotel amenities or anything really. We thought to ourselves it's just late and maybe they aren't having a good day. They also said we could pay on checkout, but ended up charging the wrong credit card to which they promised wouldn't happen! The next day we asked for bowls and spoons in the room, apparently they are need for the restaurant and there's not enough?! 2 wine glasses also were not allowed. What's room service for? Also ever... Read more

Stayed here the day after New Years and was awesome!!! From the moment we stepped in to the hotel to when we left three days later, everything was exceptional. They let us check in early and even upgraded our room to a mini suite. The staff is awesome, hotel is clean and funky and the you can‚??t beat the location ‚?? walking distance from everything in Union Square. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!! Thank you Hotel Zeppelin for making our stay awesome!

Hotel had sort of a euro flavor. Rooms were small and closet space was a challenge as the safe prevented having any long hanging clothes. Bathroom sink was extremely hard to operate. For the money and the location, it was fine and would probably come back. They need to get some vending machines!

After a major remodeling, the hotel we have stayed in for 4-5 years and met our needs, is greatly changed. The staff is warm, courteous and helpful, especially Mr. Ellis, but the room we always stay in now is much smaller, too small to accommodate 4 people. The bathroom has no fan/vent for steam; the counter surface space is inadequate; the basin, although quite large, has a very difficult to use faucet. There is no longer a concierge floor with a wine and cheese hour; the rates are greatly incr... Read more

Recently stayed here during an overnight in SF. The hotel is a great little boutique spot within walking distance to Union Square. The staff was amazing, thoughtful, helpful and really unlike anything I've seen in a SF hotel. The only ding I would have for the hotel was that we stayed on the 7th floor which meant taking two elevators to our room, no big deal, except way finding and signage to find the second elevator was non-existent. Not the end of the world, but something that should be addr... Read more

If you want a nice room with good service avoid this place. Designed for the under 30's with more money and no sense. Seems to be run by the homeless. Overpriced. Light in room did not work. USB's did not work.

Really love the new iteration of this hotel - it's bringing a young, funky vibe to the neighborhood. Stylish and cool, with muted colors that are pleasing to the eye. Plus the hotel bar and restaurant are fantastic - note to Zepplin management that they should create a TripAdvisor page for Rambler - I wanted to leave a positive review about the food but couldn't find it. Great experience!

The good: friendly, accommodating and chill staff. Hotel had a better than expected gym and interesting amenities like a game room and lots of lounge space. Price was fair. Bonus, the bathroom products were very nice! The bad: the decor and fixtures were cheap and borderline tacky. Rooms were very small (we had a king suite), hotel layout was really weird and the whole place looks rundown. Like seeing a nightclub during the day. Recommended for early twentysomethings looking for a cool place ... Read more

For our three days stay in San Francisco we've chosen Zeppelin hotel not only because of his sophisticated but rock & roll attitude. We've already stayed in a Viceroy hotel in New York and we've appreciated so much the attention for any particular. Parking walet is a little bit pricy, but absolutely necessary when you've driven for miles and you only want to rest! Zeppelin hotel is central, near to Union square, and I think it has one of the coolest lounge of San Francisco. We enjoied playing in... Read more
