Hotel is located right in the middle of the action. Just a few blocks away are the Cabel Cars, Pier 33 & 39. Rooms are very modern and clean. I found the price a little steep. If parking was included it would have been a great deal.

This hotel is a low rise hotel with three floors of rooms. We had room 203 which is right on a very busy intersection. It is loud in the room with noise from the room above as well. When we entered the lobby for the first time, there was a strong floral perfume smell. We thought it came from a guest with too much perfume, but the hotel has this overpowering scent by choice. The room is really quirky but comfortable. It has a locker instead of a closet and all the lamps are retro. It ha... Read more

My husband and I just returned from our stay at Pier 2620 and we can't express how happy we are. This hotel delivered on so many levels for us. When we booked we requested an early check-in time, as well as higher-level floor. We received both! We were able to check-in three hours earlier than their normal 3:00 check-in time. Check-in was an absolute breeze; it literally took only minutes. We were provided with a city map, as well as a coupon to Cioppino's in Fisherman's Wharf (and that en... Read more

Beautiful and roomy. Slept like a baby in a very comfortable bed Amenities excellent. The perfect distance from transport and restaurants. Only criticism I have is not enough cereal selection for breakfasy. I don't eat big at breakfast but oatmeal and pale flakes of some sort are not appetising. Muesli and/or granola would be a worthwhile addition. Otherwise a great place.

The location of the safe in our room meant we had to get down on hands and knees which when you are pensioners is straight forward. We had a wonderful time in San Francisco and as the hotel was very central in Fishermans Wharf everything was close at hand

Excellent location and rooms super cool with a real beach retro feel! Staff friendly, hotel very clean, wifi fast and reliable!!! Stroll down to Fishermans Wharf. Please note parking is expensive as this is a prime tourist location. Yet a great hotel and Starbucks, Ross Stores, World Market, Walgreens, plus the team stop only a few steps away!

Had a great stay, location was excellent. concierge was very friendly, however our experience with check-in was a very efficacious and arrogant lady. Checkout was fabulous. All other staff were A1+ Including housekeeping.

Great value and wonderful hotel. Hidden gem ??? We will definitely be booking here again. The cleanliness was spectacular. The helpfulness if the concierge was wonderful. Don't bother to eat in the restaurants on sight. The food was terrible. However the wait staff was wonderful. Spend your food dollars elsewhere. Thank you!

Good area close to all transport links, unfortunately the hotel although being extremely well pesented is far to noisy we would not stay there again because of the noise from the above rooms and corridors it is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in for noise it seems to have no insulation. Great looking hotel but if you want to sleep at all its not for you

We spent one night here while visiting San Fran. Location is very convenient to Fisherman's Wharf and associated sites. When we arrived, our room wasn't ready but they accommodated us in a much nicer room. Have stayed in San Fran before for work and the rooms here are the biggest I have expereinced in the city. The rooms are also tastefully decorated with modern and trendy touches. I will be recommending this hotel to friends and will stay here again in the future!

This hotel has a laid back, easy feel. A couple blocks from the wharf but we liked that we got out of the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas but were close enough to pop over for dinner, lunch, tours etc.

This is a great location for a family trip to San Francisco. Close to all the things you want to do and very comfortable rooms. If you want a quieter room, request one on the interior. Noise from the street side is a bit loud. Breakfast options are good and restaurant choices are easy walking distance.

Stayed 7 nights July 2016. Great location in Fishermans Wharf. Walls/floors are paper thin. For a great vacation do NOT stay in the wharf everyday. Castro, Ashbury-Haight hot areas. Alcatraz a must, so is AT&T. Hop on bus a good way to see everything, the first day do the whole loop, then the second day you can hop off. Dress in layers.

We stayed at this Hotel July 21 - 27 and loved it. The location is perfect. We walked to the F-line for transportation further down Fishermans Wharf. We had tours booked with Grayline Tours which was only a 2 block walk and also Viator Tours and walked 2-3 blocks away. Both tour companies delivered us back to the hotel. Back to Pier 2620 we absolutely loved it. The maid was awesome - the room amenities always replaced. The room has a microwave - small refrigerator Coffee Pot- Blowdryer. The fron... Read more

This recently renovated, boutique hotel was a fantastic experience for all 8 of us. We had three rooms as they did not have a large room or suite that would hold our whole group. Valet parking is available but is pricey, although typical for San Fransisco hotels. If you don't want the in and out privileges, there is another parking structure a couple of blocks down the street that saves you almost $20 per 24 hours. You also really do not need the in/out. Hotel is walking distance down to ... Read more

We stopped over in San Francisco on our way to east coast USA from Australia. We decided to go via here instead of LA for a change. Well worth the effort. On our agents recommendation we stayed at Fisherman's wharf a good tip, although downtown looked fine too. Pier 2620 was an excellent choice an easy walk to everything but in a quieter location the room was clean, newly renovated and pretty hip. Can I say stay here yes. go for it.

Our stay got off to a great start, we arrived at 9.30am and I asked if they would hold our luggage so we could go out before checking in later. They went one better and let us check in straight away and gave us our room. It was a long walk to the room 242, but this meant that it was incredibly quiet. The rooms are stylish, my only negative comment is that someone should go round oiling the wardrobe doors as these squeak loudly, enough to be heard from rooms around and above us. We ate breakfa... Thanks for a great time. The beds were Awesome! Our only complaint was they said $56 for parking a day. Our bill was $156! We drive a truck $20 for oversize vehicle.

I think we were really lucky with this hotel as I booked it whilst it was under refurbishment at half the price of other hotels, such as the Holiday Inn on the next block. At the time the reviews seemed to suggest it was a little dated but clean and cleanliness as for most people will be the biggest concern. When we finally got to San Francisco months after booking the refurbishment was complete and there was nothing dated about the hotel! We both really like the style of the hotel and the rooms... I haven't stayed there yet but booked a room ( refundable) directly on their website. I then found that other sites are much cheaper and I wanted to cancel it. I sent an email within 10 minutes of the booking and did not receive any reply. I have sent them 3 reminders emails over the last 3 days and they have not responded. I then called (international call, not toll-free) and was transferred to their reservation desk which was not manned and had to leave a message instead. Rather frustrating e... Read more

Let's get real, the walls are thin, you can hear the street noise, BUT this is the CITY. stop complaining, or don't stay here. That being said, place looks awesome, newly renovated. The Manager David checked me in, gave me an amazing room, cool guy. Very surprised to find out the staff is much older but they were so nice and funny. This is the spot in the wharf for sure.

We booked this place for it's location, which was good, because it had a sofa, which was ok, not the sectional show in the picture, and because it had a club level which included a continental breakfast and an afternoon snack and honor bar. We checked in on Friday and when we asked about the afternoon snack and honor bar we were told oh, that's only for business travelers Sun-Thurs. That wasn't advertised that way on your web site. great location, loved happy hour, breakfast adequate, staff very pleasing. Modern interior, comfortable bed, quiet depending on the situation of the room. The first room we were offered had a toilet that was being maintained and was unusable, the staff were very quick to offer us another room which turned out to be rather noisy so, we were moved to another room which was just fine.

The entire staff was fantastic at this hotel, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The location is great, very close to the Pier and a short walk from fantastic dining opportunities in the Italian and Chinatown districts. Drawbacks would include the street noise, it was louder than most hotels and could cause a poor nights rest, if you are a light sleeper. The beds were comfortable and the rest of the furnishings were very functional and trendy.

Pier 2620 is a hip boutique experience only blocks from all that is happening at San Fran's Fisherman's warf area. The decor is industrial mod with killer beds and linens. Toiletry products are top of the line as well and smell amazing... items you actually WANT to use. If there are any negatives I'd say the parking and breakfast pricing are a bit steep, but two things you can avoid if you're handy with Uber and Yelp. Overall, a good experience and I'd certainly stay again.
