Really nice hotel, interesting decor, very industrial...but I like it... could use more or brighter lights. I was on the 1st floor, however, these rooms are on the patio level so couldn't open the shades or windows... I would ask for a higher floor if that matters to you. The location is wonderful, and the staff is great!

We really liked this hotel. It was clean, comfortable and convenient. Great place to stay with kids. The hotel doesn't offer the best food options, but luckily you are very close to plenty of restaurants.

Loved the location, bed was comfy but the stained couch was GROSS. Staff was friendly but save your money when including breakfast. The choice was very limited and what was there not worth the extra cost.

We were placed on a very busy street 1st floor. We could here street cleaners, motorcycles even skateboarders. Poor night sleep for everyone! Could hear even someone dropping things on the floor above us.

The location of the hotel is great. Just two blocks away from Ghirardelli square. The room was big and beautiful. I would definitely stay again in this hotel. The breakfast was fine. Front desk staffs were helpful.

Stayed here last week for 5 nights - loved it! The room was spacious, great décor, very comfy bed, quiet (had a courtside room). The Club lounge breakfast was decent - had everything you need (pastries, toasting muffins, bagels, toast, fruit salad, yoghurt, cereals, etc). The one tiny gripe I would have is regarding the lighting in the room - as other reviewers have mentioned, there is no overhead lighting and I found it a little too dark at times. Certainly not a major inconvenience. Great l... Read more

My boyfriend and I just spent four nights here. Awesome location close to all fishermen's wharf fun (7-10 min walk to pier 39). The room is clean and well looked after. The decor is fantastic. Would recommend others to stay here

Great place to stay in San Francisco near the Wharf. This was our first night after arrival on our Pacific Coast Highway trip. The hotel decor was very unique with older-style fixtures and wallpaper that looked like cast concrete.

Hotel is clean, big room with comfortable bed and location is everything! We enjoyed executive club room which has a nice breakfast and happy hour at 5. Service is their priority. We were welcomed back each time and check in staff were friendly. We felt our business was appreciated. Would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a central hotel in San Francisco!

Before booking a hotel for my trip, I read reviews on several different internet travel sites and did price comparisons as well. This hotel had one of the best prices on a discount travel site. After I booked my room on the discount travel site, I called the hotel to confirm my reservation. I mentioned to the employee on the phone that some of the reviewers had complained about the noise level. I told her that I wanted a quiet room. She changed my reservation to a room facing the courtyard. We... Read more
