"Great location for the price. We spent most of our time heading north and west to transit center on Market Street,Union Square and Chinatown which are all very close. On our last day I discovered much more interesting areas, restaurants and shops east of the hotel and very close. The staff was very helpful, especially on the weekend."

"Drove into city from Yosemite for a short stay and didn't want to spend $300 for hotel. One night in town so just needed a place to shower and sleep. No luxury but very clean room and friendly efficient staff. Not good if you are looking to spoil yourself in luxury, but great value for rates and great place to stay if looking for more than a holiday inn. Clean small simple bathroom and shower, comfortable clean bed w modern bedding, flat screen tv, near shopping,baseball park and transportation. Overall a better experience that expected and great value for your bucks. Will recommend & return for sure."

"We had an AMAZING late night dining experience at the attached restaurant where we FELT like we were enjoying a personal experience that truly seemed as though we had cooked the entire meal ourselves! Plus the oldey-timey rooms were redone and beautiful making me feel like Elizabeth Short, the Black Dahlia herself, was about to walk through the door to bring me my Old Fashioned. Viva la France!"

"Looked pretty nice. Room was nice and I got free wifi as part of the deal. But the noise! You would think walls and doors are made out of cardboard! I woke up 10 times during the night because people were walking by and talking in the hallway. It was so loud that I thought they where actually inside my room or that I forgot to close the door. I needed to get a good nights sleep before an early meeting - that failed. The shower didn't work either. To be fair it technically did, but something was stuck, so it required a plumber to get it loose - but at that point it was too late and I had to go. Technically I could have gotten it to work by my self, but I was using so much force I was afraid to break it. I will NEVER book here again."
