I stayed there twice during a 10 day business trip to the Bay Area in January. I was continually impressed with the genuine friendly and helpful attitude with which I was met every time I visited or called the front desk. The hotel is fine -- but many hotels have good rooms. It was so great to stay in a place in which I felt welcome. Kudos to Rebecca and her colleagues.

The staff were great, let us park beyond our stay on departure. They were very very attentive. Great location. Room a bit small, but we were in an expensive city, so was expected. Could do with a breakfast option

I was recently at this hotel for almost a week on a business trip with 15 colleagues. Having been to many other hotels in San Francisco I've come to expect small rooms. Now this hotel has been updated and they took serious care in selecting appointments that conserve space and offer great functionality. The rooms are very clean, bathrooms are spotless and the beds have high thread count linens. The ONLY gripe I had with my room was that the bathroom had no counter space. There was a tiny led... My fiancé and I's trip in San Francisco got off to a horrible start due to a situation that occurred at our original hotel. After what had happened at our original hotel we decided to make a hotel change since we didn't feel safe at the other one. That was when we stumbled upon the Harbor Court Hotel. We got ourselves a room and immediately when we walked in we were greeted with smiles and an overall happy front desk. The staff was nothing but helpful and immediately turned our spirits around.... I want to compliment the hotel on their exceptional guest experience. We checked in and were warmly greeted by Francisco and then Rebecca at the front desk. Smooth, pleasant check-in process. When we got to our room, it was not what we wanted (facing HVAC, noisy, small-ish). I called Rebecca and asked if there was another room availble. She searched availability and moved us to #518...which was wonderful! The view of the Bay Bridge is fabulous. Francisco met us with the keys, escrotedus to the... Read more

The staff was great. Very Helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and my view was amazing. There were no noise issues while I was there, and I had full control over the climate of the room. Sure there was a bit of noise from the AC, but, in my experience, far less than at other hotels. As great as everything was, what was even more amazing was the location. 2 min walk from the harbour, and right in downtown. I never took a car service for the week I was in town. Everyplace ... We loved this little boutique hotel in a historic brick building. I don't understand why anyone would give this place a bad review, the place has character! The rooms are small, just as you would expect from any historic hotel in the city, but the beds are super comfy, the views are amazing, and though small, the rooms are super clean and cute! The lobby is updated but still has the character and charm of the original building, with a cozy big fireplace & views of the bridge. We will be back... Read more

Grade A example of a hotel going above and beyond for their guests. Granted I got a killer deal through a 3rd party booking site, but when I mentioned it was mine and my girlfriends anniversary, they greeted us extremely warmly. The lobby was hip and small, they do wine happy hours every weekend. We arrived in our bay view room to find a bottle of a champagne and wine plus chocolates with a sweet note from the staff. Seriously, such a great touch and really kicked off a special weekend. The ro... Read more

Our room was not booked directly with the hotel and we were told that because of this we were allocated standard double wich was tiny, no room to open our suitcases etc and the AC units were very noisy. It looked out onto a wall less than 1 meter from the window so very dark and dismal. We stayed on new year eve and the hotel was full so there was no chance of changing rooms. The following day we requested a change of room and the staff were very accommodating and gave us a large bay front room ... Read more
