I really enjoyed our stay at Galleria Park Hotel! Such a quaint boutique hotel! I found it through Hotels Tonight app, and was able to find a good last minute booking deal for a Saturday night. I was really happy to be able to bring our large golden retriever too. No extra fee and no weight limit = big plus. Check-in was easy. The front desk was nice, and he put us on the third floor so the outdoor terrace would be convenient for our dog. There was also a cocktail wine hour at the lobby, so we... Read more

We stayed in a Park Suite during our recent visit to San Francisco. We were travelling with our 2 sons (4 and 6 yo). I called around a number of hotels in the city looking for either adjoining rooms or a suite. None of the brand name hotels I spoke with had suites or would guarantee adjoining rooms. Thankfully we found the Galleria Park. It was absolutely perfect for us - the suite includes a large bed room room with separate living room with fold out bed for the children. Great location. After a nine hour delay and a seven hour flight, I arrived at the hotel at 2am. I called ahead to advise I would be arriving late. There was nobody at the front desk to check me in and when I found the security person they called him and he said he would be there in a while. There was no back up to this one person and he took his time to come check me in. I then got to my room and it wasn't the category I reserved and paid for. I called to change rooms, was put on hold and then finally tol... Read more

This hotel is steps away from Union Square, shops and restaurants. The first impression in the lobby is one of elegance. Friendly staff and nicely decorated rooms. I took an inside room for a quieter stay, and it had one window facing a narrow interior section of the hotel. Nothing to look at, but definitely quieter than a city street. The bathroom was very modern and up-to-date with nice toiletries. The room was also nicely decorated and just right for two people. There is a wine bar rig... Read more

Comfortable rooms. Free coffee - as it should be for this range of hotel. Freshly brewed in the morning on the mezzanine level. Free wine tasting in the early evening. At the end of our stay the hotel limo took us back to the airport for a very small fee. Excellent hotel.

We spent 3 nights here and loved this hotel! The location is amazing...a couple blocks to BART, cable car, great restaurants, Union Square. Front desk staff was super helpful with directions as well as dinner suggestions. The rooms are a little small but, hey it's San Fran and everything is a little cramped. We put 4 of us in a room and did just fine. Lovely old building though with lots of wonderful charm. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect base for a short stay and good value for SFO. Staff was friendly/accommodating and let me check in very early after an overseas flight. Close to public transportation, SFMoma/AT and T park. Rooms are basic, but sufficient for short stay. A bit dated/worn and sparse, but had basics a traveler needs. Beds super comfortable, but noisy hallway doors did provide some distracting outside noise. Nice complimentary coffee/tea and wine hour.

A small boutique hotel that is very nicely maintained. Location: Excellent if you are interested in staying in that area. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby, the Embarcadero is a short run away for a nice (and flat!) run, the SF MOMA is nearby, and so is the Moscone if you have business there. Rooms: Small and would be tight for 2 people but totally fine for one. Lovely furnishings - not the generic chain hotel stuff. Super comfy bed. Very quiet - didn't hear a soul even though the hotel was... Read more

Had a friend visiting from Los Angeles, so we got a couple of rooms at the Galleria Park Hotel. The price was great and I seem to love the JDV hotels, so that was also a plus. From jump, I knew it would be a great say. The door person was friendly and helpful every day of our visit (stayed 2 nights) and Ben L. at the front desk was engaging and full of personality. That makes a difference because it really gave an indication that if he was cool, this hotel must be as well. He offered to hel... Read more

I think my husband really kick started the complimentary wine hour at 530 the first night we were here as every night after it got busier. One night a staff member was visibly surprised by the size of the group. Complimentary wine and popcorn were offered from 530 to 630. Great pick me up for exhausted tourists!! Rooms were nice and personally we were happy to take up the green options by getting it serviced every second day - the bottle of water as a thank you was a nice touch too. We are at t... Read more
