There's alot to like about this hotel. Location is excellent, close to Market Street shops and the Westfield shopping centre. Plenty of restaurants around, and even one in the complex (Thai). The hotel restaurant offers great views down he street and has a nice breakfast and great service. Dinner time meals are simple (on the night I ate there), so I would recommend eating dinner at a local restaurant instead. The bar area is pretty cool for a drink. Rooms are fantastic - I am a Hilton Honours m... Read more

I almost cancelled my reservation due to the low rating and recent numerous negative reviews but I stuck with it and I was NOT disappointed. Hotel lobby area very nice, people were nice, the room may have been a little dated however still reasonable and had a good nights sleep. Location was great. I would definitely stay again.

The rooms are "fine"--what you would expect from a Hilton. Good beds, of decent size, and quiet. Also a great location My biggest gripe is the lack of typical amenities available to a Hilton Honors/Diamond members. The hotel has no facility for checking e-mail/printing. I had an important document to print and instead was indifferently directed to the Kinkos which would cost $10 to print. Almost all Hilton properties now have free business center. Also, no Hilton lounge/evening refreshmen... Read more

The hotel is situated in a nice area. The staff are very friendly and courteous people. Everyone was smiling and willing to help/ The Hilton brand is a good but but in this case the hotel did not have a room service nor a laundry service. These are very important to a visitor. Such a big hotel with so many rooms should be able to do better.

Check-in was fast and friendly and we upgraded the room to the 28th floor which included free wifi and take and go breakfast. This is the only Hilton I have ever stayed in that does not have room service, when you get off a long haul flight the last thing you want to do is sit in a restaurant, thankfully there is a Burger King just across the road or you can get take out from Westfield Mall, also just across the road. Suggest morning activities before lines get so long. Alcatraz was excellent. RedBus tours were very good and accommodating. Fishermans Wharf was exciting

This hotel is situated in a great central location with both Macys and Westfield a stones throw away. The staff were polite at all times and housekeeping did thier job efficiently. My room on the 8th floor was a great size with a separate dressing area and comfortable bed with a good choice of pillows. I didn't eat or drink in the hotel bar but there are plenty of dining options nearby.

Hotel staff is very nice, we were allowed to check in early (noon) which was great. The room was as expected - clean with nice size television, big bathroom, regular tub/shower combo, soft beds, adjustable thermostat. Comes with coffee maker and 2 servings of coffee of each type (decaf/reg) and tea. First day came with 2 free bottled waters. Has mini fridge! Chairs are too soft/low and very hard to get out of. I've not had four separate stays at the Parc 55. The prices have nearly doubled certain weeks. Hilton overall is not accommodating. I told them from Week 1 that I would be happy to stay here over the next ten weeks, if I can have some kind of stability. My rooms keep getting worse and worse. I had a king size bed my first stay, but ever since then they've sold out. Management has rectified the situation once, but I haven't impressed with my latest stays.

Very nice hotel in absolute walking distance to Union Square, Mission, Market and all the public transportation. Lots of bars, restaurants and street life around. Homeless around the streets? Yes - it's an American big city, but everything is safe and secure. We got a room at 27th level, with a stunning view over the bay, Bay Bridge and the city. Checked out this morning after 5 nights at Parc 55. I had hoped it would be a better experience for a 4-star property, but it was not. My colleague and I were on the same floor and we both did not have hot water for 2 days. I did mention it both times, but my polite mention received a lack-luster response from multiple people. Once the Queen of SF Hotels, the location is now the only real reason to stay here. Our (suite) room was adequate.....but not inspiring, and definately costly. The bed was adequate, but not comfortable. The place is dated. There is no longer any room service or any food even in the room to purchase. We got an empty refrigerator....I suppose thats something! Let me start by saying that the location is great - just across the street from the Powell BART station, block from the start of the Powell cable car, a couple of blocks from Union Square and just a few blocks from the Moscow Center (very little hill climbing required). In what seemed to be a good area of the city based on reviews, it was not. On a walk to a store just one block away, a fight occurred in which numerous people were arrested. It turned into multiple streets being shut down and approximately 100 police present. Quite a few homeless in the area that approached us and it was uncomfortable for my children. The hotel is nice, but location was not pleasant.

The common spaces in the hotel are elegant, clean and modern. It was a bit of a shock when I arrived in my room and discovered the carpet had a large bubble in it and the toilet seat was crusted and flaking from too many patrons with poor aim. Other amenities were exemplary. The front desk could be reached via text message. The buffet breakfast was well-stocked. I am surprised that the room would be in such a poor state in a hotel that aspires to be a high-end property.

Ok if you're just on a quick trip by yourself and need something decent at a good price. Do not recommend for the discerning frequent business traveler or couples/families. Rooms are showing their age and had issues with toilet and shower. Service is average. As an HHonors member I expected a much better service, not to be charged $6 for a water bottle!

This hotel is comfortable, clean and very well located near the Westfield Centre. Unfortunately I lost sleep due to the noise from the street below, despite ear plugs and being on the 23rd floor. I haven't had this problem at other hotels in the city. On the first night I was kept awake for a few hours because of loud drilling and banging from outside which the reception staff claimed the next day must have been 'street cleaning'! I won't be staying at the Parc 55 for my next trip.

The rooms need cleaning, fan in bathroom was disgusting and full of fluff, mold in corners, musty smell and you have to pay $66 to park your car there. Rooms need to be updated. I just spent 4 days in the Parc 55 in SFO and was caught of guard by the property. The Hotel is in an excellent location (although SFO itself has become a little rougher) a couple of blocks from Union Square. It is well appointed and the staff is friendly and attentive. The lobby is pleasant and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bed and shower (my requirements) are very good. Lots of plugs and good wifi although the room could have had better lighting. This is an excellent hotel for a business stay. The fitness room is good. Be careful in the surrounding area as there are many mentally ill individuals roaming around. This hotel is not one I'd stay in again, mainly because of location. It is great if you want to be right in the middle of lots of shopping, but the homeless and drug addicted people are everywhere on the streets, and we found that uncomfortable. The staff was courteous, the room was fine, but it's not our idea of an ideal location.

Bed was comfortable. Not enough light in the bathroom (could not see in the shower) or the bedroom. I do not know what was worse, the Direct TV reception or the spotty internet (wi-fi) connectivity. The TV would go out about every 5 minutes for approximately 1 minute. The internet connectivity would just STOP about every 30 minutes. We booked two nights at Parc 55 on Hotwire. It was 4* rated and we didn't know what hotel we would be getting. But we assumed 4* would be very good. This hotel is in a very good location off of Market st. Check in was quick. Our room was on the 18th floor. It was clean. Great location and easy accessibility to dining and shopping. It is a short walk to the Union Square. The service at the hotel is not standard though, it all depends on who provides the service. Tear that concrete bunker building down and build a nice place there. It's really a 'last resort' hotel, if you want a nice 'holiday' feeling then there are many better places in San Francisco. If the location, the proximity to the shopping malls, is all that matters to you....this is your place.

I was at Parc55 for 2 nights for business but also brought my two kids. The room was actually not bad at all bar the fact that the bathroom was dated (handheld shower heads are very modern, not stationary) and also I do not understand why hotels do not just spray CHEAP CLOROX once a week around bathroom areas, getting rid of mould goes a long way. Otherwise the rooms, I was on the 24th floor so I am not sure of the lower rooms, are very comfortable, small but it is San Francisco (I had a double ... Read more

We have stayed in a few SF hotels, all of which have been good, but this would probably be my first choice for a return visit. It is in a very convenient location for public transportation - steps away from the BART, next to market Street so very easy to find a bus to where you're going, and close to the cable cars. The rooms have a lot of space and the bathrooms were updated at some point. Very clean and the staff was always friendly. I also felt very safe in this area because it is a busy ... Read more

This hotel is right on the cuff of Union Square and this is most definitely a city that never sleeps!
