"The Palace hotel was wonderful. The check in process was very easy and the staff is very knowledgeable. Concierge was able to set up our Alcatraz trip and was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction. The room was clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. If we didn't have so much we wanted to see and do I could have laid in bed all day. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again in a heart beat. Also, doesn't hurt that there is a Ghirardelli Chocolate shop connected to the hotel. ;-)"

"Our room was nice but not very quiet overlooking Market. Dual or Triple paned windows would have helped immensely. Our bathroom could have been cleaner, as there was long hair in the tub and it did not come from either of us.
Overall, I would recommend to a friend and stay here again; however, I would not want a room overlooking Market."
