Budget hotel excellent for groups Rooms are comfortable enough and have everything that you need Wifi and TV good. Breakfast is OK but no hot food options. Well located close to Van Ness Avenue and not far from start of Cable car on California. Taking you east into Tenderloin though takes you amongst the down and outs so a less pleasant area in that direction. If in doubt walk uphill! Staff are helpful many of them are Nepalese.

We stayed in this hotel in high season, the price wasn't low, but for the big city it was ok. The hotel is situated in the center, but the district is not so clean. The advantage of Oasis Inn is free parking. We were checked in even earlier of standard time without any extra payment. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but under the windows was a place where homeless slept. It was the only diadvantage that I found in this hotel.

Given how expensive San Francisco is nowadays, I think it is hard to find a better deal than this one. Do not expect to be in a 5 star hotel but you will be pleasantly surprised. Good price for good quality in the city center. The rooms were basic but comfortable and clean. They still need some improvement but it was not a deal breaker for me - (there is carpet, old tvn- no flat screen and the furniture looks a little old). There are two cute patios within the motel - one on the lower level kind... Read more

Dated rooms but clean and adequate. Location good and parking very handy. Good value compared to other similar locations in San Francisco. (Which is a dear place) Noise is mainly from passing traffic. Deck available

Good option downtown, Ten-minute walking to Union Square. Free parking if you are renting car. The room was simple but large, clean and neat. There was no fridge. Cable tv was not available in my room. Quiet neighborhood.

This hotel is DIRT DIRTY DIRTY It has bed bugs crawling all around..... the blankets are really dirty, so are the floors and bathrooms. Front staff are just OK . Just stay away unless you want to get bitten!

Free Parking! Walking distance to Polk St. without staying in the Tenderloin! They are in the process of renovating. The exterior is looking good. The beds were not that comfortable and the pillows were minimal and flat. No Refrigerator, No coffeemaker.

OK, so this place is all about price and location. The price is good for SF (for a private room with ensuite). What you get is an acceptable room. Imagine a poor (but clean) guy's bachelor pad (without kitchen) with furniture from the end of the eighties and you'll get a pretty accurate picture of the rooms. Got no fridge and no microwave but free parking place. The room was clean and the room service proper. The location is, well, central. To the West, you have exotic Japantown, trendy Fillmor... Budget hotel - decor and fittings 'tired' but clean bathroom, fairly quiet. Outdoor shaded terrace area available to all guests. No coffee/ tea facilities in room but a cold drink dispenser on terrace. Burger King around the corner, but not an easy area to find evening food. We went to Little Saigon area which is about a 4 block walk. Hotel is one block down from Van Ness avenue. Bus 47 and 49 go straight down towards Bay Area. Bus 47 takes you almost to Fishermans Wharf. Only costs $1.25 each w... Read more

This place is in some serious need of updating. It has a pretty good central location to operate from, but it is worn out. I meant to take a picture of the 3 pronged extension cord that runs the fridge, TV, etc because there are no plug ins. The bathroom exhaust fan didn't work & the metal drain plug was just laying in the tub.... Not to impressed.

A clean and comfortable place to stay with good facilities and a lovely garden Oasis to sit in. Beds very comfy, nice bathroom and tv and fridge supplied. No tea\coffee making facilities but this is common to a lot of hotels is USA and we brought our own. Decor could do with refreshing but a good deal at the price in a very expensive city to find accomodation.

Room was serviceable, no air-conditioner. Massive conference on in San Francisco during stay inflated pricing and availability. Good enough location, Uber everywhere. Good for a couple of nights. Lovely city

Oasis Inn is not a memorable place, but offers decent simple accommodation in a OK neighborhood, in a walking distance of about anywhere in San Francisco and well connected to public transport. I walk quite fast, but it took me about 15 minutes to get to Liberty Square. The bus is some 2-3 minutes walk, 2 stops from BART. The rooms are typical for a US motel - spacious, with a private bathroom, all quite simple but clean. There was an old TV and a fridge in the room, no problems with hot water. ... Read more

Have stayed here before. They have added some improvements like new flat screen tv. Hooray for no more car sized old tvs. The front desk staff is very Unanimated and awkward but they get the job done . Hotel had a nice sitting area in the courtyard. Rates were great - low

We stayed here for 4 nights and I can't complain about the room it was big with a nice bathroom. However the area it is in is not the best, if you are going downtown I highly recommend getting an uber as the walk there is very dodgy, it is the only place on our 7 week trip of the USA where I did not feel safe. We saw police who even told us not to walk! The actual hotel was more of a hostel vibe but with private rooms, there is a communal area and the staff are friendly. It's an ok place to st... Read more
