"Overall this motel is fine. It was decent clean and we loved the location. Front desk managers were very friendly and we also loved free motel parking.
But our stay ended up with sleepless night, since the light in the sink area was living it's own life. It was on and off every 30 minuted during the WHOLE night! Being very sleepy we did not realize we should call front desk about it. Maintenance guy was not there anyways and we were not sure a lady from front desk can do anything about it. We spoke with the supervisor in the morning and addressed the complaint, stating that a discount will be something nice to get for a sleepless night with kids. But she refused and was not very polite. Raised her voice at me (I am a female too) that I had to call in the middle of the night so someone could come and switch it off.... Well each time it was on I hoped it's an accident and won't happen again.... how wrong I was. Anyways, not a good experience with management!"

"This hotel was in a convenient location within walking distance of union square and chinatown. The staff was very nice we had the same girl check us in and out. FYI: towels are flimsy (if you're picky bring your own) and the room had a strange smell to it, smells actually really bother me but nothing a candle didn' t fix."

"This hotel is perfect if you're not looking for anything fancy that's centrally located. It was clean,comfortable and safe, and had FREE garage parking! There was a mini-fridge in the room, and I had to borrow a hair dryer from the front desk (no wait time). Soap was provided but no shampoo or conditioner; I didn't ask the front desk if they had any because I had brought my own anyway. The front desk staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area & public transportation. You can catch Bus Line 47 or the famous Cable Cars to Fisherman's Wharf areas from a few blocks away. There's also a good Turkish restaurant next door called Alaturka, very reasonably priced! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who isn't looking for an upscale hotel and I would stay here again!"

"Perfectly adequate hotel if your not trying to impress the neighbors. Safe, clean, well run, secure. Its a great place to have as a home base if you dont need any frills. Breakfast place next door was great and run by really nice people. The bar next to that had a great jukebox and a cool vibe overall. The neighborhood is edgy...very edgy. If that's a problem, go to another neighborhood. I would stay here again in a second."

"The place was clean and the rooms were decent. Beds were fairly comfortable. Everything functioned properly and they accomidated us with an iron and ironing board (they had to hunt down the board though.) The hotel is in the 'Tenderloin', which is the seediest part of the city. A bit scary after dark. We felt safe in the hotel though. Keycard required to access the elevators. Free parking garage onsite. The price per room was high, but inexpensive compared to other hotels in the city."

"The motel is located is a bad area next door to a strip club. Very scary after 8 pm. The inside of the motel was very clean and the room was very comfortable. The only problem was the street noise at night. I don't recommend this motel if you want to be in a nice part of San Francisco. Next time I will pay the extra $40 a night and stay at a better location."

"Hidden gem in the City! Well below average cost of any where in San Francisco. This location is safe, clean, close to everything you need or want and the staff is above polite! Have to mention the beds are small (No Queens) and a bit uncomfortable, but for the price, location and free underground parking, you won't beat it!!"

"We were actually told to ask you for a refund. We had two miserable, sleepless nights with about 16 new college students. The first and second nights we called the front desk to complain, the night manager yelled at the group to stop and they DIDN'T! The second night, we suggested that he call the police and were up until 4AM listening to them partying and the night clerk yelling! It was RIDICULOUS! What can YOU do to make it better???

Having gone through this experience, next time we will call the police ourselves since yelling at people is not the right answer"
