Really cute hotel in San Francisco. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were really modern and updated. The lobby has a fun bar area. Really cute hotel for a good price in San Francisco! The other hotels owned by this hotel brand are also excellent, but some are a bit pricier!

Walking in to the Hotel Zetta, I thought we were going to have a great experience, the lobby was really cool with a bar right in the middle, the decor was really nice, and the check in process was smooth. That's where the good vibes ended. Our room wasn't great, it was small, awkwardly set up (if you wanted to watch tv while in bed you had to turn to your side), our view was of a graffitied air conditioning unit, and there was a random metal door to the outside right next to the bed which was a ... Booked on hotels tonight for a weekend - wanted a comfortable space in the city with a desk. I was not disappointed. The room is large with a great working space. I'd suggest it to friends. There is no view, as the window opens to what seems to be a shaft, but it still let's light in. The room is large enough where that does not matter.

Excellent hotel in great location. The room was large and did not have carpeted floors which I liked. Comfortable bed, nice in gadgets and the desk was good for me to work from. The staff was very very friendly, courteous and was always willing to make great suggestions in the area. I asked for a good breakfast option and the gal at the desk pointed out her favorite and gave me a map to follow. It was delicious! Definitely would suggest to others.

This was the first hotel we stayed in, in SF. Very cool place, beautifully designed. Great people, all were super nice and helped us with everything we needed. The location is great, the Westfield mall is a minute from the hotel. We got a nice crib for the baby :)

I stay here once a year when I go to San Francisco for business. It's a perfect little boutique hotel, the rooms are comfortable and roomy and the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are funky in a good way and the hotel is small enough to feel the personal service you'd expect from this size hotel.

I was in town for a conference over the week and stayed at the Zetta as part of my companies booking. The stay was fantastic and the staff really went above and beyond for my during my time there. I was in a jam and needed some printing done and the gals at the desk were superb. I emailed them a few documents to print, they did so with no hassle, helped me fax them over and then gave me directions to my meeting. Great experience and I will look to stay here again next year or if coming to San F... Read more

We booked this at the last minute on hotel tonight for an awesome deal. We were driving into the city and 5th street was closed for the parade. After 30 minutes of trying to get to the hotel to no avail I called the front desk. I was so frustrated and the woman I spoke to was so helpful. She went outside and asked a police officer if we could come in through the blockade to park in the mission st garage a half block away. Wonderful funky hotel in a great location. Brilliant playroom for our children (12 and 9 years old). The hotel put us in touch with Scout (an agency that helps with your stay/trip/bookings). Michelle, the agent from Scout, was wonderfully helpful, our stay would not have been the same without Scout's assistance. Great job guys and thank you.

What a terrific hotel! I've written and raved about the Hotel Drisco and the Omni in the past, but I love this San Francisco hotel just as much. For starters, the location is wonderful--just off of Market and Powell and near a BART stop--and it makes it easy to get to and from the airport and just about anywhere else in SF. No hills to traverse when you come and go! But the best parts of the stay were the room and the hotel staff. Our room and bathroom were spacious, light, lovely and quiet... Read more

Stayed in lots of boutique hotels in SF before and this is by far the best one. Large rooms, nice bathroom and overall, great service throughout. The concierge, receptionists etc. were all very helpful (it seems like they all worked together or interchanged) between concierge and reception.

The check in was OK. Parking service is ridiculously expensive 63 USD plus tax. Asked front desk to prepare the sofa bed for our children leaving at 6 PM for dinner, it was not done when we returned at 9PM. Service is not what I expected from a hotel charging 400 USD per night. Room was a king suite, very small and no outside View at all.

Only a couple of days but has everything a big hotel has with that little extra you get in a intimate surrounds of a smaller establishment . The small bar in the arrivals area friendly and accommodating after a night out or just shopping .A games room for young and old .The restaurant provides fine dining or pub like menu.

Super nice staff, very comfortable bed, great location! No real complaints - they provide a body wash as opposed to bar soap in the shower. My husband was not crazy about this, but we just ran to one of the many nearby stores and bought a bar of soap. (The hotel may have had some, we just picked some up while we were out.) The bar hours down in the lobby were odd, but that may have been because we were there around the 4th of July. Anyway, Hotel Zetta was great!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying 4 nights at Hotel Zetta. The hotel was located in a great location especially if you like shopping - steps away from Nordstrom. The staff was very friendly particularly the bartenders who made me feel right at home. The rooms were decent, comfortable and clean. There is a decent restaurant connected to the hotel although it's sister restaurant Marlowe is much better. The hotel is low key with a great bar in the lobby. The only criticism would be that ... Small but well equipped gym. Great facilities in rooms and in hotel in general. I did want to really love this hotel. The location is amazing! Just a block from the Powell St stop on Bart- easy from SFO. Walk to shops. shops....did I mention walk to shops. Rosemary, Wilhem, Leela and others were so lovely...but...our room had an HVAC that was unreliable - hot, cold, hot, cold , loud...it just meant no sleep for someone like me...BUT if you can sleep through anything this is the place. Great location off Market Street, lovely little bar and soulful decor. They upgraded my room when I arrived; really very nice all around. Pros: beautiful design, very friendly staff, spacious rooms, got some welcome gifts upon late arrival which is always pleasant, got a room upgrade for free Bad: nothing, rooms are maybe a bit dark when at the back, and prices are high, but that's SF!

Room: Double Deluxe Queen Room, great size room with good size bathroom, it was my birthday so some freebies on the room upon arrival was just awesome! Had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Zetta for three nights. We were welcomed by the charming and vivacious Rosemary at reception, who registered and gave us information about the hotel and some of the nearby attractions. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Wonderful bed, which was great to stretch out after a 13 hour flight. Room has all the amenities that you would need. Lobby bar was abuzz at night and the bar staff were great. Our experience at the Hotel Zetta, was wonderful. F... Read more

Spent a Friday evening in this awesome hotel in downtown San Francisco. The rooms are simply designed yet details are terrific: crisp whites, faux leather details, urban recycled elegance. The beds were super comfy and the bathrooms spacious and well stocked. I loved the open space bar/play/reception area: it was welcoming and really nicely thought through. Play loft was great: shuffleboard, ping pong, a couple of widescreen TVs, pool and fun seating throughout. Fitness room was spacious... Read more

My first visit to Hotel Zetta delivered on the promise of a good boutique hotel - unique design, lively lobby, and quiet comfort in room. What's Right - blissfully quiet rooms at the end of a busy business day, I slept extraordinarily well on the top floor - lobby bar that had energy - thoughtful check-in staff, especially for my 11 pm arrival - premium wifi that actually works! - toiletries that feel special - good location, walkable to everything Opportunity - while delivered with excellent ... Really hip place. Stayed with our group for a business trip. Good location. Lots of hotel amenities for the 20-somethings. Easy walking distance to Union Square, but a little too close to the gritty part of city.

The location was great right next door to Westfields, the decor funky, our room was large and comfortable, clean, comfy beds. The games room was fun, the staff friendly and helpful. The english restaurant next door was really nice and had excellent food, although was not open for breakfast.

Hotel Zetta has a wonderful location very close to the BART and shopping. It was so easy to take the BART in from SFO and a 2 minute walk to the hotel. 6 of my girlfriend stayed at this hotel for a girls get away. We could not have asked for more. Everyone was friendly. The hotel was fun and lively. The attached restaurant was great after arriving late in the evening. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel Zetta is literally steps away from a host of attractions in San Francisco. While there for a short visit on business I was able to walk to other areas of SOMA and Union Square. The Powell BART station is also only a block away. Really friendly and helpful staff. Already planning my next visit.

This was a great spot to stay in SF, and we loved the vibe! Our room was great, very plush, and romantic. Not much of a view, but that's what you get in the heart of the city. The area is extremely urban, which is just what we wanted- super close to the SF MOMA and easy public transportation to go anywhere in town. We actually spent more time at the hotel than usual, because it was so cool! We enjoyed the bar/lounge area, and had fun in the game room in the second floor. We had a highly compe... Read more

Got in at 3pm and our room wasn't ready. That was level 7, they tried giving me a ready room on level 3. I said I'd wait for level 7. Instead they "upgraded" me to level 6 room which was apparently better. The room is nothing great. Paid huge money per night and I believe it's about a 3-4 star hotel Went out for the day wanting to head back to the hotel bar, have a few drinks and play some pool. To be told they had it booked for a private event.. That would've been nice to know beforehand! Pers... Read more

We stayed here on our Stop over in SF. Its located in city, any activity like Fishermans warf is about 10-15min uber etc. we arrived after 3pm - for some reason our room was yet to be ready? So we originally were to be on 7th floor but moved to 6 as an 'upgrade.' To us the room was your std queen room nothing flash. The room had an odour - not terribly bad but enough where i sprayed my cologne about to try mask the smell. Bed and fixtures were ok and moderately modern style. Free WIFI which is G... Read more

I had the pleasure to stay in this hotel twice during the weekend while I was on business in Sillicon Valley. The people that work here are so friendly. Especially the people at the reception. They were really helpful with all my questions and even wrote me a 'fun things to do list' for my saturday night off. It was really good! The hotel itself has nice clean rooms. The lobby and bar are really nice as well. Again very friendly people here as well. The restaurant next to the hotel serves gre... Read more

I have traveled to numerous countries and states the past 35 years. I have never been motivated to write a review until now. Hotel Zetta, San Francisco, was great for my wife and I. The bed is one of the best we have experienced, very comfortable. My wife appreciated the excellent bathroom lighting, many hotel bathrooms lack the light to adequately see what you are doing! The room was quiet, we did not experience any room to room noise or outside noise that affected our rest. The Cavalier resta... Read more

Stayed here one night before heading to Napa. Staff was very friendly. Car parking was a bit steep but it's San Francisco so it's probably standard. The room was nice but a bit dark. Room was clean, which is what I care mostly about. Hotel lobby bar has a great vibe. Was packed on a Thursday night. Didn't go upstairs to "playroom." The connecting restaurant has a nice breakfast menu, relaxing atmosphere. The location of hotel is walking distance to union square. About a 45 minute walk to the w... Read more

I was very disappointed in my stay here. I usually don't post reviews but I felt I needed to this time. Mostly the stay was ok but as a breastfeeding/pumping mother I found some of the front desk staff to be rude and seem annoyed with me every time I needed to add to my breast milk stash that was in their fridge. I wouldn't have needed to bother them about it had the mini fridges in the rooms been able to keep the milk warm but they weren't cool enough. They were nice enough to let me check in e... Read more

We stayed for four nights including Halloween which was very cool. The hotel staff and many of the patrons were definitely into it. The room was nice with a large bathroom. The staff attempted to address all of our concerns and were totally professional the whole time. I am waiting to hear back from the GM before finalizing this review.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Zetta and it was a very enjoyable stay. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, offering great advice about restaurants and places to visit. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the cable car turnaround and Powell Street train station, the latter meaning no need for an expensive cab in from the airport. We booked a deluxe king room at the front of the hotel which was very light and superbly kitted out. The bar and playroom on the ground and mezzanine fl... Read more

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in transition from Oakland to Silicon Valley. The Zetta's location next to BART made those connections ideal since I was also traveling with a bike. Staff were great about allowing the bike in the room and were happy to store it in their secure valet room on the day I checked out. The lobby was awesome - wish I'd had time for a game of pool. Our room was modern and spacious. My only minor complaint was that it faced an air shaft with no natural light. To be... Read more

This is a centrally located hotel with large adjoining rooms which made for a very comfortable stay. It has a cute lobby and large rooms for us and our 3 teenage kids - with shopping right next door, as well as a decent restaurant on the other side for meals.

I had to go to San Fransisco for work and decided to try a different hotel. I'm glad I did as Hotel Zetta was perfect. The check-in was smooth and the employees at the front desk were so nice. The rooms were spacious and clean and had a really cool vibe. The lobby bar was fun and the upstairs with the games was a fun place to hangout. Next time I have to travel to San Francisco, they're is no doubt where I am choosing to stay. Great job Hotel Zetta!

Was booked for 3 persons occupancy in a room with 2 Queen beds. Truly didn't expect how large the room was, the pictures online didn't do it justice. Beds were comfortable, superb amenities, large modern bathroom, a bunch of plugs located bedside, even a USB charging station. Noticed that the luxurious toiletries such as the shower gels, lotions and shampoos were giant 300ml sized bottles - good thing I didn't take them upon check out because one of the bottles notified that it would cost $35!... Hotel Zetta reminded me of my stays in NYC. The hip, cool vibe is fitting for the young at heart, the musically inclined, or even the fashionista and hipsters. The location was perfect in more ways than one. Steps in seconds to Westfield and not a long shot from Union Square. What I love most was the ease of getting there and out of the city without having to be caught up in the usual construction or hustle and bustle of SF. I can't wait to find a reason to go back to Hotel Zetta. By the way,... Read more

We loved the Zetta hotel. Went for Thanksgiving weekend - a family trip with our 2 teenagers. We all loved the place. The playroom is not a marketing joke, it is there and it is prefect to relax after a long sight-seeing day. The staff is super super friendly (Rosemary first!). The Cavalier restaurant is great: superb food, amazing breakfasts (and we loved the atmosphere early in the morning), great team too (people who recognize you the second day? When I travel with my wife, we want to eat and drink, see the sights...but more than anything we want to feel welcomed; embraced by our surroundings. She calls it getting a "big hug" from the places we go. In this case, the hug began before we arrived and continued our entire stay. Quite simply, this hotel provided customer service that exceeded customer service, and "hospitality" and verged into friendship. Every person we came in contact with at the hotel were wonderful - but a very special me... Read more
