The hotel is located on the edges of the Tenderloin district (not somewhere you want to hang around for long) but for our purposes it was ideal as it was only a few minutes away from Union Square and Market Street which has great shops and transport links. The room we had was fairly small but this is San Francisco and if you want a large room you have to pay accordingly. There is only one elevator and its pretty small so it can take a while to catch one particularly during the day when the maid... Read more

Room and sheets smelled musty. Room was moist and muggy. NO A/C. Currently under construction which was not a problem. Getting in the elevator is taking your life into your hands. Plus it only holds 3 people. Over all it is just a dank, dirty, old building. Not worth the price.

The room is clean and the Staff is really very nice, friendly and helpful! The valet parking is pricey $49. Take the nearest parking outside for like $39 per day flat rate (you can go and come back park again).

Great location, easy access to BART. Clean and friendly. Very helpful at the reception. Walking distance from union square and powell station. compact rooms but well kept. There was rennovation on so did not get to explore much of the hotel otherwise.

There was some noise from loud people nearby in the evening and morning, but it tended to die down during the night. My room's windows looked directly into another room which meant I always had the shutters closed. There is also no air-conditioning. More so, it is located on the out-skirts of a rough area, meaning there are often homeless and drugged up people near the entrance and streets near... Read more
