We had read previous reviews about the Abri Hotel and were prepared to ask for a quiet room. The room we were assigned overlooked an interior courtyard. As a result it was extremely quiet - no traffic noise at all. We stayed for 5 nights and were very happy with the hotel. It is very centrally located very close to Bart, buses, Cable Car, Trolley. 2-3 blocks from Union Square. On the downside it is only about 1 1/2 blocks from the Tenderloin area (where the street people hang out) We were a... Read more

I stayed for 5 nights while attending a conference at the Moscone Center. The location was perfect. It was centrally located, within a few minutes walking to the convention center and less than a block away from the Powell Street Muni station. The room was well-appointed and quiet (had the option of choosing street side or not) and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom, although on the smaller side, had a nicely modern sink and shower. Again, great place to stay if you're looking for a plac... Read more

Found this hotel on TripAdvisor, it was a great price for a beautiful boutique hotel that was within an easy walk to shops, and to transportation to anywhere in the City. The room was clean. They have quiet rooms that do not face the street. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. Great ambiance.

I had a lovely stay. It was for an interview and I felt very welcomed and rested at this beautiful location. The room was large and a mix between modern and vintage. It had a lovely side room with a desk and a couch to relax. It had a modern bathroom. It had comfy robes to relax in. All around a great experience!

This is not luxury hotel, but the rooms are comfortable with decent size, the location is great, near Union square and market Street (so you can use the public transportation to reach anywhere you like) The service was friendly and welcoming. The room was a bit smelly, maybe a matter of ventilation, but nothing serious.

I stayed at Hotel Abri for a conference that was at the Moscone Center. The hotel is a perfect boutique option to the other chain hotels in the area. Great location near Union Station, shopping and many restaurants. The Powell Street station is only a block away - so you can get access to public transportation. Very friendly staff and very clean hotel. The rooms are small, which is why I would recommend for a solo trip.

If you're looking for an excellent location and good price, you'll be in good hands. Super close to BART (Powell), walking distance to Union Square, Embarcadero, and tons of restaurants. But the views from the room left much to be desired (and very little natural light), room was very small, and waiting to check in was long (especially since we had already given our credit card earlier in the day). This was the first time I stayed at Hotel Abri. it has a Kimpton like air about it. My room was very nice (sitting room and bedroom) though don't go there for the view. It is a place to hang when you aren't busy doing something else. Nice feel of an old hotel with history once you leave the lobby. About a mile to the ferry building down market st and right near a lot of the shopping area. Was clean and bed was nice and sheets were nice.

Went to San Francisco, for 4 days, nothing but good comments for Hotel Abri. Excellent front desk service, at all times. As soon as you go in the hotel it smells nice and has a warm/cozy feeling. We had a room without street view and was quiet. Rooms are clean with A/C, TV and free Wi-Fi, they have recycle bins, coffee maker, ironing board, hair dryer. In general the room is small, very tiny closet. but that did not affect me at all. Will definitely come back.

Hotel Abri is a clean, cute, boutique hotel with a great location. I've stayed at over 5+ hotels in the area and this had by far the best staff. They were friendly, attentive, and very helpful when I had questions. Unlike some of the larger hotels in SF, this one makes you feel at home and cared for. In terms of the most impressive of the staff, Kelly Nguyen stuck out and really went above and beyond. Thank you.

Great location, BUT: There is a Club right opposite the street that is noisy during the night (if you want to sleep before 3am). That's why we changed our room (321) in the middle of the night to a tiny room (202) with a unidentified stain at the ceiling and a crappy bed. The staff was friendly to find US a quiet nice room (501) the next day with a comfortable King size bed and a spacious bathroom.

We really enjoy our stay at Hotel Abri. The location was excellent and the staff very friendly and kind. The rooms very small though. We slept in a queen bed and was big enough and very comfortable as well. Since this hotel is a pet friendly hotel we brought our dog with us and the experience was excellent! We really recommend the stay at this hotel!

Hotel Abri was a great getaway spot in the heart of San Francisco. Everything from the decor to the helpful staff as well as the fairly small, but very cozy and amenity filled rooms were top notch. The check in was online and super easy and so was the check out! We got $20 off food and alcohol at the hotel restaurant and it was great. Loved the location, very central. I would most definitely return!

Gem of a hotel close to all amenities and transport links. Staff were very helpful and dealt with all our questions. Lovely room with all amenities. The only thing that could have improved our stay was a better shower as the pressure was a little low

Upon arrival, the young man at the desk was extremely helpful. We were given a large corner room away from the street to reduce noise. Bed was comfy and room very neat. Would stay again. Easy access to BART, streetcar and metro

Hotel Abri combines location, service and amenities, equaling a great value. Situated on a corner with the Parc 55 and Hotel Fusion across the street on both sides, this location felt safe and inviting. In addition to the Italian restaurant that is connected to the hotel, there is a Subway next door and a Thai food restaurant a block away as well as the requisite Starbucks on Powell. Just a block away is Powell street with lots of shopping and on a cable car line. Upon check-in, I received... Read more

This hotel is located in the heart of the Union Square neighborhood, less than two blocks from the BART station, cable cars, and buses. The staff was very helpful in figuring out the best way to get around the city.
