From the time my daughter and I checked in until we were checking out the staff was exceptional. They were all sincerely friendly, helpful and courteous. I am terrible with names but the three gentlemen that were there Friday night at check-in were fantastic. We had just completed an 8 Hour drive to get there and they were all welcoming, knowledgeable and funny. Our room was well appointed, neat and clean. Nobody is perfect, the key is remaining committed to excellence after a mistake is made. Your business partner in Cheaptickets.com really messed me up. Twice I had to correct the on-line cue with the right date for my stay as it kept changing when I made any adjustments to my reservation request. Finally I had all the information correct on one page and clicked "Purchase". The next day I received a confirmation email with the wrong date again. Loved the location. Not caught up in the hustle and noise of the Fishermans Wharf area, yet close to the BART station, across from a taxi stand, and near local caf├ęs for morning eats. Easy walk to Chinatown or North Beach for good food and great people watching. Not up for the walk? Still an easy cab ride (no more than $8-10) to most tourist areas to catch tour buses or the cable cars. The room was clean and staff super friendly. This hotel is centrally located in downtown SF. Ideal for business travelers and tourists. The room was small, but laid out well, with a fridge and microwave. The hotel has a decent size gym. Water bottles and snack bar, really help. There is also a sun deck on the top. The restaurant attached to the hotel has good farm fresh food. The location can't be beat. The staff was also very helpful. The business center was also really convenient and free.

Club Quarters is a pretty basic hotel but it has everything you need in a pretty good package. The rooms are smallish but well equipped and very clean. Various room sizes. Ours had minimal drawer space. Bed was comfortable, wall unit AC/ heat, great restaurant/ bar next door... Bathroom walls need a cleaning... Reported malfunction in an elevator-- nothing fixed over our 3 days. Room service trays from several rooms left on floor in hall for our entire 3 days.... Booked this through Diamond Resorts International--- VERY expensive point value-- don't use your points!!!!

I booked this hotel for a great rate on Priceline because I was trying to save money. You get what you pay for. It is a solid option for someone looking to explore the city. It is in the financial district and is very much a no fuss hotel. It is clean, and welcoming. The rooms are small and a little dated but it serves it purpose. The employees are nice, the internet is free, and they have water available on every floor. Overall no-frills.

Nice quiet rooms, lovely family area with snacks and beverages on weeknights behind lobby. Excellent very helpful front desk/concierge folks. Very short walk (2 blocks down turn 2 blocks more) to Embarcadero BART stop, so no need for a cab from the airport. Big Red Bus tours stop right on their corner. Would recommend.

When looking for accommodation in San Francisco it can be a little daunting at how expensive everything is. Club quarters is worth the money with a great location, clean and tidy rooms and friendly staff. Just a 10 min walk from tube from the airport and 10 min down the piers where you can walk along to fishermans wharf, per 39, Alcatraz landing etc. Some areas of the city felt a little dodgy after the sun has set but we always felt safe walking back to the hotel.

The hotel was clean and provided us with everything we needed. The location is good, walking distance to mayor attractions. We had a lovely coffee machine in the room and the guest lounge also had a good coffee machine. The hotel provided a free fill-up on filtered water station.

It's better to tell you what this hotel doesn't have then to tell you what it does have. When we got there, we waited for a few minutes for the valet to arrive on a very busy main road, but he never did come out, only to find out they didn't have valet service or a bellman. Once we get in we were told check in is at 3 PM which I completely understand, however not to have any rooms ready at 2 PM was really ridiculous. We had to open up our suitcase in the lobby after arriving because we came ... Read more

I stay at the Club Quarters 4-6 times per month due to my work as an airline pilot. In addition to all the amenities and help, I was able to leave some athletic equipment in their care knowing I would be back in just over a day, saving me the hassle of lugging the gear back to New York only to lug it back. Just another example of how Club Quarters and its staff go above and beyond in assisting their clients in whatever manner they can. I have found Travis and Sarbi to be particularly helpful on ... Although the location for walking to/from AT&T Park was good, the hotel itself was a bit sterile. There are very FEW windows. In fact, the view from our tiny room was of a wall so the room provided barely any natural light. It felt like a flourescent cave.

Loved our stay. My wife and I got married in SF this week. A quiet location in the financial district. Free coffee and water was a huge plus. Cute rooftop too. They didn't keep their promise of surprising us with champagne in the room but that's ok just say no next time.

Location was good. Hotel slightly disappointing. Upon entering you are asked to check-in via a kiosk which required me to ask for help anyhow. Nice lounge area w/drinks & snacks at all times. The room was different than most. Consisted of queen bed and sofabed w/small kitchen area. The rugs were in dire need of replacement, stain in middle of rug and very old, worn looking. There is a large credenza type unit which is for hanging clothes and holds TV on other part. Very little draw space. Had to... Read more

We stayed at the CQ Hotel from 5 to 6 September 2016. The location was great and staff very friendly. Liz at reception was really helpful, she took the time to give us tips of where to go, and information on tours available that suited our stay. she also, very importantly, pointed out the areas of the city to avoid. The room was very nice, big, clean and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay at the CQ Hotel and would love to stay there again next time we are in San Francisco.

I am a Diamond Owner and this was one of their affiliated properties, I have stayed in other affiliated properties for timeshares and this one was one of the best. The location is really central as a starting place for all kind of San Francisco activities. The Desk Clerks were all very helpful and very friendly, it is nice to walk in whatever the hour and be greeted by a smile. Lobby was nice and clean. Check in was a breeze! However room was very small (standard) and at the corner of the floor, we did not have much floor space. Plus we had to ask for more pillows, but that was about it. If you don't plan on hanging out at the hotel and just need a place to sleep and shower then this is a hotel for you! The price was great! Enjoyed my stay :)

I have stayed at Club Quarters in London previously, so I thought I would try the American version. I had booked a non-refundable superior room for 5 nights, but when I arrive, I was stuck in a standard room (pretty small for american hotels). That staff was able to resolve this on the second night and gave me no hassles. There is a free espresso machine in the lobby which is a huge perk - but it was often "temporarily out of order." It may have been temporary, but it happened often. There a... Read more

The rooms were very nice and I felt very safe. The front desk staff and the hostess in the restaurant, which had good food, were very nice! But I had two unpleasant encounters with the wait staff. First night, ate outside and the waiter seemed as though I was putting him out to serve me! Second night, I ordered room service and asked about getting wasabi with my seared tuna and was told "we are not a Japanese restaurant - we do not have wasabi" also, all wines listed on the menu were not availab... I paid for my queen bed hotel room using Diamond Resort time share points. To provide comparison, I paid 3x as much for this queen bed hotel room with mini fridge & microwave in San Francisco as I did for a 1 bedroom apartment in San Diego, with a full kitchen, dining room and living room. The facility itself was fine, and had one unusual amenity: a station to get & fill your own water bottles on each floor. Excellent idea! No pool, but the was an exercise room.
