"I don't normally leave comments but felt this experience was so bad I needed to warn others. The hotel room didn't have any heat or hot water. The maintenance person came to check on the heat drunk and took over 2 hrs to respond to the request. There was no hot water in the morning and the hotel staff said 'just wait for an hour then try again'. I have never had such a horrible hotel experience . "

"VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! very dirty and LOUD... the rooms look over inner courtyards and you can hear every footstep, every door opening and closing and especially, loud neighbors smoking outside their rooms to all hours of the night. It was very frustrating to say the least! The picture of the rooms on the website are far from reality... the rooms are very dingy and dirty, the bathroom was just big enough to step in to, and the beds very small. However, the staff is very friendly... I think they are very used to apologizing!! I would definitely not reccommend this motel and would never stay there again."

"We were very content here after our busy days seeing SF and I always felt relieved to dip inside the lobby when we returned. We had a family room which was clean and bright and had a comfortable couch with coffee table for relaxing. Staff very helpful and decor made the place unique. I found the room very quiet for sleeping and really liked having a lounge for a nightcap. Lots of extra spaces like sundeck for views of the city, pool and patio areas. The hotel was very safe while feeling light and fun. My kids and I enjoyed the burgers and modern feel. Place was bustling but also restful and very close to BART and Muni. I was definitely pleased with our stay."

"Tha Hotel was good... and it is located in an area close to all the major attractions downtown and the transit system. the rooms were clean and the staff was nice. The area is a little scary at night because there are a lot of homeless people, but we soon enough realized that there are homeless people all over San Francisco so it is part of experiencing the city... "

"The rooms had an awful smell in them. There was water dripping under our sink onto the carpet. They hotel ran out of the free coffee for the room. At check in, we asked about the fun book and the reduced rate parking and we told they the did not know what we were talking about. Luckly, I had my reservation print out and the hotel gave us the 1/2 price parking but no coupon books."
