"Very disappointing... Train out side the window very noisy and I was unable to sleep.
Location is to far from the airport and taxi ride very expensive.. $100 for one way and paid $65. for return to a company referred by guest services. I was not aware that this was a resort... I do not like to stay at timeshares... a little overprice for the services rec'd. This is a military town again not aware and no plan to ever return."

"Our experience was mixed between good and bad. When we first arrived we were very excited, especially since they were able to accommodate an early check-in. However after getting our parking pass the concierge was VERY rude and persistent when we didn't care to share our household income with him. We had no idea that this hotel did time share and he informed us that the 'hotel would get dinged because we didn't share our information.' Not a great first impression. After a couple hours in our room, which was awesome and had an amazing view of the beach and pier, our room door was opened by other hotel guests! Needless to say we were all a little stunned. The hotel had checked-in other guests into our room. When we called down to the front desk to inform them, they asked us if the person entering our room was maintenance or housecleaning. Seriously?! After we had to explain to them again what happened, plus the other guests explaining it to the front desk we finally got new room keys. The coaster into San Diego is steps away from the hotel so you can hear the signal, but this wasn't too big a deal for us. The room was much more than we expected. Didn't feel like being in a hotel. The hotel was very nice, steps away from the coaster into San Diego and the beach/pier. Aside from the rude concierge making us feel guilty about not wanting to share our personal information and the double booking of the guests in one room we had a pleasant experience."
