Good location near transit centre Friendly staff Light breakfast Only negative was for car parking charge Large room & bathroom I do not see the point of wasting words in hotel reviews. I think trip advisor should review this need should you wish me to complete future reviews.

This hotel was easy to find and conveniently priced for me and my boyfriend. We just wanted some alone time and decided to stay here for a night. I really liked the interior of the room and for a cheap price i was expecting a little less. One thing that confused me right off the bat was that i searched this place on here and called them and was offered one flat rate with no additional fees except parking. Upon arriving the front desk charged me and then asked how I'd like to pay my $100 deposit.... Read more

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night last weekend, and we were pleased with the place! Perfectly located in Old Town, clean, quiet, and cheap. Not the place to stay for luxury, but if you want a nice spot at a good price, this should be your pick!

This quality of this place is so far below a budget hotel it should be shut down. The photos with which we judged the hotel on Expedia were doctored to show a much nicer place. The breakfast was a stand up cup of coffee (blah) and a terrible muffin. Our bed was good but I was afraid to walk barefoot on the floor because it was filthy and full of cigarette burns There were no Kleenex or a waste basket in the room. The shower which was in it's own room smelled absolutely full of mold. I couldn'... Read more

We picked this hotel as it was close enough to our boat tour starting point, and for that it worked well. It was relatively clean, though there were some things of issue: 1. The elevator had a out of order sign on our level, but not on the ground level, so I don't know if it was actually broken or just the staff were using it. However, this meant that we had to take the stairs. This was veeeery scary as it was unclean, slippery, and unsafe. Glad we only had to do it once. 2. If you are bringing ... Read more

Spent 2 nights here for MCRD graduation. The price was great and the staff was amazing! We had several special requests because we had a marine who needed to change clothes and several hours to kill between graduation and our flight home. By that point we had been checked out of the hotel for 6 hours. They happily accommodated us each time. Great location and quiet. Not new but the price, location, and service more than made up for it!

It's a two star, indeed. But it has great bones. There was a little booking error so our first room was a single queen with a small kitchen and dining area: terrible carpet... but cute. But we really wanted two beds, so that was arranged very quickly. Much larger room, good sized bath. microwave, fridge, dated, but clean and suited our purpose; hich were visiting Old Town and Mormon Battalion. It really was quite good. and nice staff too It was a two star breakfast....lots of carbs and cof... Read more

Although there is nothing that really sticks out about this hotel in a resort type of way, it is very affordable, has comfortable beds and is clean. And it is in a great location for exploring Old Town, Downtown and Balboa Park !! I would definitely stay here again. Parking is a little tight so get there early. The staff was super friendly.

Was this new, modern, stylish, sophisticated, well appointed, and centrally located. No - but it was a couple short blocks from the upper end of Old Town on a quiet street. It was clean, if a bit dated. There was a refrigerator in the room, an air conditioner that was adjustable all the way to an artic blast setting and a coffee maker. Sink was removed from toilet\shower\tub area. In the morning there was a simple offering of coffee and muffins across from the check in counter. Most importantly... Read more
