We stayed at this hotel in April 2016 after travelling across USA visiting from Australia. We were looking forward to this part of our holiday after seeing the photos and star rating given to this accommodation. We were initially given a room in the garden area and walked in to a horrible smell that can only be compared to damp carpets. There was mould near the windows, swollen skirting boards, mould in the bathroom, dirty furniture and cobwebs in the corners. I was disgusted that they woul... Read more

I am surprised by all of the recent negative reviews of this property. My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in mid-January and had a wonderful time. We moved from San Diego a little over a year prior, so knew that the location would be perfect for us. Check in was easy. Corey at the front desk gave us a great corner room since we were celebrating an occasion. The view of the bay and ocean was beautiful. Our room did show a few signs or wear and tear, but nothing like what previous reviewers men... Read more

The lady checked me in wasn't pleasant or accommodating my needs. The first room was given to me was in very bad condition and extremely loud throughout the night. The music by the pool was on at 4AM. I had to call the front desk to request turn it off. The following morning, I fell in the shower because shower curtain was too long for the tub and I stepped and slipped on it. Ridiculously got busied, yet didn't hit my head or anything. I requested a change of room and was given better room.

The Hotel location was very good , amenities were also very good . the room we stayed could have been a bit updated . The staff in reception was ok. They have great views and did offer complimentary bike or paddle board wish was nice even though we didn't have time.

The hotel is like an all inclusive resort style hotel. All the walkways that lead to the fitness center, market and restaurant are outside...not a problem unless the weather is bad. It happens to be raining during our trip. The restaurant is pricy $16 for breakfast...the food did taste good with average portions. The rooms are clean, ok towels and cheap tp. They have outdated beds and furnishings. The rooms are pretty good size so that is nice. They put me and my husband in a 2 queen accessible... Read more

We stayed in one of the suites which overlooks the marina. Health club is good. Breakfast a little over priced at the Red Marlin restaurant in the hotel. Your option for a quick breakfast of bagels or wraps with Starbucks coffee is the Market Mission Bay by the gym. Bikes & jet ski rental available, and a nice waterfront boardwalk. Close to town and attractions. Very clean. Get your snacks and water from Ralphs supermarket for your daily outings.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for almost a week and really enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The view was unbeatable. It is easy to request an upper floor to get an even better view! The internet worked well and the nearby restaurants were good. The pool area is nice, but the hot tub needed a good cleaning. The hotel offers convenient parking for a charge. Note that the hotel will charge you a "resort fee" at the end of your stay which was not explained to us before... Read more

I wanted to have a quick stay cation with my daughter and stayed at the Hyatt in Mission Bay. What a surprise! This would be the perfect place for families visiting San Diego. It's close to everything including Sea World right next door. The pool area with its two slides looked like summertime fun! I will go back and enjoy the grounds that are nestled right on the water.
