We were on the 15th floor with a wonderful view of the bay and the ocean! There is a roomy balcony with very comfortable outdoor seating. They have a great pool with twisting water slides. We enjoyed some nice walks, the bar, and outdoor garden area. Be ready for sticker shock on the daily parking fee! Our room was lovely with a sectional sofa and a separate little coffee area and a modern bathroom

My company held a two day training at this hotel. I always struggle with hotels that don't have a mirror with outlets, so I can do my hair away from the steamy bathroom. Not so this hotel. I was able to get ready for work without the steam! The bathroom had a bathtub and a shower with excellent water pressure. The room had a lovely balcony overlooking the bay and the room itself was spacious and well appointed. Suggestions would be to offer a selection of teas. All I had was one Earl Grey ... Read more

Outraged on a waste of time driving 5 and a half hours to be treated like garbage. Ruined my boyfriends birthday. Clothes smell like room 2101. I have video and pictures also. Yelp a horrible review of the property

I like this property, but in a one night stay I had to go to the front desk twice to get my keys re keyed....a huge waste of time. Charging $37.00 for self parking is robbery...They should be ashamed. Mission Bay is a lovely location but this hotel could use a little updating...looking a bit tired. The restaurant has vastly improved since my last visit.

Fabulous location. Front desk staff woman, 'Marty" provided great customer service. Room was unpleasant to the eye. Bed was hard & uncomfortable. Noise [people talking in the garden area] kept us awake. Charged $37.00 to self park car in parking lot [yet didn't inform us of the charge - saw it on bill later]. Room amenities were very cheap. Sub-standard to the Hyatt San Francisco standards that I have become accustom to. One would have thought I was staying at a Best Western or Comfort Inn. Def... Read more

Beautiful place and some nice staff people, but we had several issues with the physical layout of the place and the amenities - eg, odd suite design, unfurnished kitchen, coffee shop inconvenient, etc.

I had not stayed at this hotel in several years and was (mostly) pleasantly surprised by the changes and additions. I would go back and take my wife and family, given the pool area, the watersports available, and the proximity to so many of the attractions we like in San Diego. However, the hotel needs to do a bit better on upkeep of the property. Most importantly, they should inform guests who seek a restful stay that they may not want a room facing west due to the noise from the pool area a... Read more

Mission Bay Hyatt has nice rooms, great pool and centrally located for exploring San Diego. Valet and self parking was $37 which seems high, especially for self parking. We had room with ocean view which provided beautiful sunsets. Staff was friendly but valet parking could use more staff since seems like every time we went to get car, there was only one person.

Recently stayed at this location. Overall, service was great however for being a "resort" charging "resort fees" it falls short in comparison to others I've stayed at. The grounds are tight and common area, while modern, was less than inviting. The Tower corner suite I stayed in had a nice view but it looked old and tired. The furniture was outdated, bathroom was small,carpet/paint/door looked worn, and my "separate" bedroom was created by adding a creepy looking curtain separating the rooms. ... Read more
