"I chose this hotel because of its resonable cost and breakfast. The breakfast was sufficient and clean in the area. We just needed a place to sleep for two nights and that was what it was. If your looking for a place to really unwind and spend time lounging in the room or at the pool, this is not the place. The pool is very small, and there is nothing really comfortable about the rooms, they are very small. But if you looking for a place to sleep, well I guess this could do, but I wouldn't choose this hotel again."

"We were very unhappy with our rooms. The bedspread had stains, the blankets had holes and the appliances left a lot to be desired. The room was tiny and did not look like the pictures on the website. The breakfast was not what I have found in other establishments advertising a continental breakfast. The baked goods were stale and the waffle station was a mess. Our room was not very clean, the bathroom was old and did not smell very nice. I think the outside of the complex is dirty, rundown and I certainly would not feel very safe if I was alone. We saw evidence of people either living or sleeping in the bushes around the premises. Not where I want to be, I certainly did not expect what I saw in this hotel. The website is so misleading!"

"I was expecting more. The pictures on the Hotel website are nothing compare to reality. The Hotel room is small, house keeping did not show up each day to clean my room or take out the trash. The walls are very thin and you could hear anyone who walked on the hall way. The rooms are NOT remodel, like the website says. Overall, I was only there for a few hours and I would have rather paid a few more dollars and book elsewere"

"Wouldn't recommend, to anyone looking for a very clean facility. The out doors
walk way hadn't been clean since the place open in 1970. The pictures on the internet give a bad impression of how the place really looks, it reminded me of a cheap Motel 6 that should be priced at $59.95 and not a penny more. Beds were hard as a brick the one bedrooms are so small you can't move around. The continental breakfast was ok."

"The internet pictures are very misleading and outdated, they must have taken those
pictures in 1970. The hotel is very old and outdated, when I enter the lobby area I smelled a musty odor also in the rooms, I recommended the hotel invest in some Lysol. The grounds were dirty and un-kept you can tell know one ever washes the stairs and walk way down. This Hotel reminded me of a Motel where rooms are
know more then $50.00 a night. The only positive thing I can say it's close to the fwy. A REAL DUMP

"The breakfast and staff were great, the only thing that was bad was the dirtyness of the stairs going up to my room. There was also a stain on the stairs and the stairs had a horrible smell like urine which made it unpleasant to go up to my room. I was there three days and the stairs remain the same way(DIRTY). The worse part was seeing a bed bug on my bed, that was very gross. I definetly not recomend my friends to stay there, nor will I ever return there."

"I, too, thought we were staying in Hotel Circle. Was a bit taken aback that we were right on top of the I8. Not having a car, thought there would be places to walk to... although we did find a starbucks and plaza not too far away. Room was very small and kept bumping into the area where the refrigerator was located because it was too tight. couldn't open the refrig door entirely to put leftovers. the shelves were in crooked and things kept slliding off the shelf.
room was clean, but the noise from guests walking past the rooms after midnight was disconcerting. also the noise from above was very loud. could hear every footstep and thump.

Only other concern was that the security latch on top of door was broken off and therefore did not offer much in the way of security.

was a bit difficult when checking out... need to check out by 6 a.m. had to use the night window and kept ringing the bell, but it took about 10 minutes before someone came to the window. makes for tension when you are anxious to make it to the airport and check in.

breakfast was good and offered a plentiful variety. the hostess was very helpful and friendly. my compliments to her, as she was diligent at keeping things stocked for the customers and also kept everything very neat and tidy.

"The Hotel is ok but is to mutch money $ 153.19 for night, should be $ 70.00 during the week and no more then $80.00 in the weekend,the staff friendli the rooms clean.I would like return or recommend to a family or friend only if the price is right not any more whit this high price."

"I 'thought' this was in the Hotel CIrcle area and it wasn't. Let's stick by there from here on out when we visit to go see our daughter. The back of this complex does butt up against a water canal and looks a bit shady. I would guess it may be occupied by a few homeless but I'm drawing conclusions. The complex itself is surrounded by fencing so that should be no problem.

Can't complain about the room itself. It was what we paid for. Comfie bed, fridge, cosmetically clean and functional. Will we stay again... I think I'll fork out the extra $$ and stay at one of those in the Hotel Circle area"

"Its an OK hotel if you only want to stay a night or 2, its clean enough, the price was good and there was a good variety for breakfast. Although situated right on the I8 traffic noise wasnt a problem. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. On the down side, everytime someone walked along the path in front of the room it sounded like a herd of elephants and the thumping from people above us a little hard to bare. We had an unexpected run in with the breakfast staff on a very busy Sunday Morning , she told my very quiet and shy son he couldnt have any more to eat, he'd had too much. The next morning he was too affraid to eat anything for breakfast"

"The room seemed clean, beds were comfortable, no closet cabinet. My requested refridgerator did not work, complained first thing but no maintenance on staff for intire weekend, so I had to go without frig and had to dispose of good leftover meals. The desk clerk did not have knowledge of the handi cap rooms, I was told there were no handi cap rooms at all that had a bathtub instead of shower, but the girl telling me this did give me a key to look and compare and when examined the handicap room indeed had a tub and shower, she was surprised to find this out. The hotel did not give any sort of map, I'm gussing because it's a very small property and can't really get lost but as I am handicap and had to walk in big circle around the entire building to find the elevator located in rear of building. I thought it was odd and inconvenient to have the handi cap room on the 3rd floor and having to go around back for elevator then go up then walk around building to access my room in front area. There was beer split in elevator, smelled bad, I informed the desk clerk and she said there was no maintenance so she would clean as soon as she could, it did get cleaned on saturday not friday, however I must remind you that it was New Years Weekend so probably don't have that issue on regular basis. There were a lot of food chains and places to eat all up the street, a Vons store, bank, and many shopping including small taco stands one called Taco Fiesta on east side street was very good,a chilis & Souplantation. No maintenance for whole weekend, the outside trash cans overflowed and trash was on the ground.
The pool was small only 4 1/2 feet deep but heated, the spa was small but hot, there is no outside restrooms to use or changing areas and you did not need a key to enter, gate just not locked. The Free breakfast was pretty good, although they had no sweetened cereal only special K and corn flakes, they had waffles, toast, pastry,cereal, but no oat meal, or other hot foods mostly bread, only fruit was oranges, no bananas or apples. All and all was ok, for a good price, good location, free breakfast, heated pool not too bad but they really need to rethink giving maintenance weekends off??? seems backwards, staff was friendly but couldn't help with no frig, I was not offered any room change or discount at all."
