We had 2 rooms and they had the adjoining door, which is great with kids. The breakfast was fine. My kids loved the frozen waffles. The front desk clerk was so helpful in helping us find a beach to visit. We would stay there again.

We have a 13 year old dog and did not know this facility did not allow pets but Victor & Beto at the front desk kindly made an exception for us and gave us a room on the second floor. While trying to get our dog upstairs, it was evident he was in a lot of pain (which we had not experienced before). Victor & Beto then moved us to a ground level room & AB even got a luggage cart to put our dog on. We knew we had to get our dog to a vet & AB helped us with directions to a vet. But then Victor s... Obviously this is no 5-star hotel, but it exceeded our expectations. Great location convenient to SeaWorld, freeway access, and lots of nearby places to eat. The airport and Seaport village (highly recommend!) are just a short drive away. The one downside to the location is you will definitely hear fwy noise and airplanes flying over but it wasn't bad enough to keep us awake. The room was good sized, clean, and obviously recently refurbished with new flooring, paint, and fixtures - a pleasant s... Read more

I booked this hotel because it had decent reviews and the price was cheap. The things I liked was mainly the location. It was very close to nearby attractions such as Sea World and Mission Beach. There were also markets and stores nearby if you need any essentials. I also enjoyed nearby places to eat that were local eats at reasonable prices. Another plus was that I was able to get 2 queen beds at the same price as 1 King. Also, no charge for parking. I didn't like how the towels were stained a... Read more

Our room was clean and nicely decorated. Lisa at the front desk was very helpful, kind and easy to work with. The breakfast was simple but had something for everyone. The only draw back we had was that the people in the next room were extremely noisy, however I understand that is not the hotels fault at all. The hotel is close to the airport and sea world we would consider staying here again.

Parking is a serious issue there, we came back and had no parking due to stupid people taking up two parking areas, areas are extremely small as it was, night manager got busy to fix the problem, my suggestion is that each spot be numbered to the room, night manager moved his motorcycle so I could park a brand new car (week old) but my son in law had to crowd into a small area due to stupid stupid people, the next morning I learned that if there is an event across the street people park in your ... Location: I brought my family out for a conference that I had to attend and also took them to Sea World, the San Diego Zoo and the beach. This location is perfect, only 15 minutes away from each of the listed locations and even closer for the beaches. The best part (we basically got lucky) since we don't know the traffic patterns - we never had to deal with traffic as we seemed to always go the opposite direction of the traffic jams. This hotel is centrally located close enough to just about anything you want to see. The rooms were very clean although a little small. The staff was great and the breakfast was very good and free. Wendy's is across the street ans Mc Donalds a half a block away, Vons is just around the corner as well as Buffalo Wild Wings and Arbys. Parking is free and we never had an issue finding a space. Booked this through Wyndham Rewards while looking for something close to Mission Beach. While close to the beach the location was not desirable. Lots of street noise even though our room was as far from the street as you could get. Kind of a slummy part of town. Room was somewhat adequate. TV was good. fridge was good. Wood. The staff at check-in was the total opposite of the staff at Ramada Plaza, Anaheim. It seemed like he actually didn't want to be there. Later i discovered that i could understand such attitude. To be honest was a little worried based on how the outside looked. But once we got into the room it was truly amazing. Looked great inside. Beds were great. Very clean and up to date hotel. Far enough from Mission Beach so the price doesn't leave you penniless...but close enough for a $6 Uber ride. The website states shuttle service...uh...there isn't any. Again...cheap Uber ride. I really like the wood/tile floors...so much cleaner. Loved the shower. For a simple room, it had a great shower (pressure, clean, shower heads).

The room was comfy and met our needs for our short weekend stay. There are a few recommendations that I do have. The parking is very tight and was hard to get in and out of. It was also a tight squeeze in the lobby when trying to get breakfast. It also smelled of smoke in the lobby area. Those were a few areas that need some updating.

Overall very satisfied with our stay. The rooms were updated and loved the tile floors. It is very close to Sea World, San Diego Zoo, and Mission Beach. Very convenient. The two downfalls were that the parking lot is very tight and the lobby is small and not many places to sit when eating breakfast. Very satisfied overall and would stay here again! Also, we could see the Sea World fireworks from our room. My children were really excited about that.

Room seemed recently updated, replaced carpet with tile that looked like wood, frig and mirco., soda and coffee free 24/7 in lobby- free and good coffee while I was there. Very clean and well kept breakfast area 0630 till 10 or 1030. parking near your room, seem secure, closed on 3 sides, one can only enter from front, someone at front desk 24/7, allows them to monitor activity. Lisa was nice, helpful and yet moved things along. Ok, I'm done, if I say anymore, there won't be a room when I... Read more

Location of hotel was good for our weekend getaway. Price was average although I did find last minute deals $20-$30 cheaper. Husband and I stayed one night in the "roomier" king bed room. Room was pretty small but had the essentials, microwave, fridge, etc. Rooms are pretty modern and clean but definitely not 100% clean. While watchng tv I noticed a roach crawling on the screen. Also, the bed skirt was stained and also black from all the dirt on the bottom. It could have been worse but they shoul... Read more

We had a great stay. Greeted with bottled water and fast and courteous service at reception. Lisa was most helpful giving us tips and information about the area. Able to take a bus to beaches and Amtrak Station. Took Surfliner train to Anaheim for a hockey game. Relaxing, traffic free way to go with great views of the ocean along the way. Room was clean with fridge and microwave. Free continental breakfast was a bonus. Great value for the cost. Would recommend to others.

Great price for this hotel. Walking distance to the major stores. Hotel is small but extremely clean. Comes with complimentary breakfast from 6am to 10am. Close to Sea World and about 10minutes to Old town San Diego.

we are at this location for two days, we didn't have much time to go through all the places but we have visted very few, This Place is closest to the following locations Sea World,Old Point Loma Lighthouse and USS Midway Museum. This motel is next to the banks and also Vons and Target are very close at a walk-able distance. The staff is very friendly and they helped me with the places to visit. I love to stay in this place when i visit San Diego again.
