The room was ok for the money. BUT it didn't have enough supplies (towels, toilet paper, coffee) The last day we needed to use tissues due to lack of toilet paper!!!!!!!

I would not recommend the hotel to anyone. We were going to stay 6 nights but moved after 2. The first night I was afraid to get out of my car as there were homeless people camped out in the back by my room. The kitchen looked like something out of the 70s. There was a hole in the floor outside the bathroom that I twisted my ankle in in the middle of the night. The breakfast was not worth the trip downstairs. While there 2 people that came in and took a bunch of food and left one but the food in... Read more

Secound night had to call police as the room next were vulgure when I asked them to quiet down because we were woke up at a 1130 pm. The staff didn't kick them out witch I believe should have happened. I've never been so insulted. There friends wanted to start a fight. So I called the office and had the police called.

I was originally told there was nothing wrong with the wi-fi. I had drive to another hotel to test my wi-fi connection. I worked. I was finally told there was a problem with the hotel's wi-fi and I should've read the sign on the front desk. I could only connect to the wi-fi in the lobby. Several common cable channels didn't work on 2 of the nights. USA & TNT were the only ones I was concerned about, but there were others. There was nothing they could do about it. The gave me about $30 off my ... Read more

Small semi-clean room, which I could have dealt with if the internet worked, if the jets in the spa-pool works, if the heater in the spa-pool worked, if the heater in the semi-clean-water main pool worked. Enough said.

We got a family suite (room 139) & the layout was quite ideal for us, 2 dbl beds/bathroom, living area/kitchen & queen bed/bath. That & how friendly the guy was at check-in were the only high points of this hotel. First experience in the room - my husband got stuck in the bathroom, because the bathroom door was broke & couldn't be opened from inside it. Then the kids were unhappy since their room had no tv, the cable wasn't working & the wifi didn't work. Pillows felt like they were filled... Read more

The hotel accommodations were Horrible!! The rooms were musty, I had to buy fabreeze broken bathroom doors, fridge that kept leaking, pots and pans that needed to be disposed. House keeping did not come to clean the room until very late in the afternoon, and we were gone all day and I still had to call when we got in. No internet or cable TV only basic nothing and lastly, the washers and dryers were not labeled, " out of order" and clothes were left totally wet and the dryers did not spin. C... Read more

First off the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Great customer service. Now, about the lodging itself. This place is very run down and dated. Old and worn furnishings but the TV's were newer. It was clean however, it was hard to properly judge that because of the need to update everything. It served its purpose for us,, shower, bed, toilet and TVs, as we only needed a nights rest. The area appeared safe, close to the beach and there are stores near by. Stay here if you don't need anythin... Read more

The staff was very courteous and professional. However, the sink in the bathroom would not run hot water. There was an exhaust fan with no way to turn it on. The bathroom mirror was pitted and discolored. Housekeeping didn't come to clean the room until 6:00 p.m. The coffee packets provided were not designed for use in the coffee maker in the room.

I checked in for a 4-night stay; business travel in Carlsbad. At check-in Monday night there was no one behind the desk; had to wait for him to return from somewhere. The freeway noise was so bad in my originally assigned room I had to ask for one "farther from the freeway". The clerk was sympathetic, but the replacement room wasn't much better. I-5 runs right alongside the building. Rooms open to the outside, not a hallway, so noise gets in. The Wi-Fi varied from slow/intermittent to no se... Read more

Great location but poor house keeping. After the first night we stayed here there were no washcloths. We were told there were no more left! About 30 minutes later the desk brought some up. Then after the second night we didn't even receive house keeping. Also the wifi was not working our entire stay.

The internet was down, the pool and spa were closed because they were green. Housekeeping didn't speak any English. Housekeeping came at 5 o'clock pm when we were trying to get ready for dinner plans. The fitness room had 3 machines that looked like they were from the 1980's.

Very spacious and friendly environment. Because we stayed for almost a week it was very important to have enough space and we got a huge 1 bedroom suite with kitchen. And it was about 5 minutes from LEGOLAND.

Pool closed, tv not working, no quarters for washing machine, no towels after maid cleaned until after 8 pm! Had to wait for bfast to be replenished... did I mention the police had their guns pulled on someone before 9 am rifht out front of lobby? On a positive note, it is a nice location and only a 15 minute walk to beach!!

Customer service was great, but hotel was disappointing. Some were going to Legoland and the others were going to hang out poolside. But, Pool/jacuzzi was green! Rooms had fridge, but very small living space. Toilet made a loud noise, like a jet engine, when flushing. Was clean, but very dated! Was right on the 5 fwy, so quite noisy. Ran out of food early for the buffet continental breakfast. Very run down and lower quality hotel. Wouldn't stay again. Canceled our 3 night stay and moved to anoth... Read more

The Staff was friendly. We chose this hotel for the pool, but it was closed for some reason. When we got to our room, they was two towels and one hand towel - not two towels, two hand towels and two wash cloths. The refrigerator was dirty in the back and the shower wasn't cleaned very well. The cost was suppose to be $151.20 a night. When I got the bill, I was charged $151.20 the first night and over $180 the second night. Didn't notice until I'd driven off.

We decided to do a short family vacation. We planned to stay for 3 nights and ended leaving early. Pool was super green, spa did not work, house keeping never came, refrigerator was lopsided, sink in bathroom was dripping, outside needed maintenance(especially pool area), elevator sometimes acted weird like if it was going to get stuck. Not what I expected from a Ramada Inn that is part of Wyndham.

Overall it is a great hotel. It's quiet, near Legoland, room was big and comfortable. Everyone we encountered was very helpful. Only two problems: the ironing board was broken (did not report, minor issue). The biggest problem was that we were looking forward to checking in that first day early and relaxing by the pool before we started our packed days with Legoland and Sea World. Unfortunately the pool was green( I think they mentioned something about it being unavailable the day we checked in)... Read more

This Ramada is two star and unclean. The smell in the lobby is the first thing you notice; a strong bad chemical smell. The same smell is twice as strong in the room. Things are dirty and things are broken. My room was next to the LA-San Diego 12 lane freeway. The reception staff are pleasant and helpful. But the property is just not good enough.

I would like to start by complimenting the front desk attendant, as she was the only positive to our stay. I do not remember her name, but we checked in around 7:30pm. She has to deal with the barrage of issues this property presents, but was both calm and professional. We were informed upon check-in that the pool, spa, and Wi-Fi were not working, nor was a room ready for us (even though it was well past check-in), so we had to wait while it was prepared. The stairs to the room were quite termi... Read more

Luckily we paid a really low rate for our room. The pool was totally green with algae and after 3 days they finally covered the pool, but not apparent work on cleaning it was seen. Some items in the room weren't restocked each day. Customer service was nice. Location was great. Close to the beach and a short drive to Legoland.

The hotel is close to legoland and the beach which is convenient. The first thing you smell when you walk in is an old mildew gross smell. Check in was fast and they were friendly, when we walked into our room, it was the same smell. We sprayed febreeze everywhere everyday. It was a big enough room for 3 adults and 3 kids, it had a kitchenette but it's very outdated and had smells as well. We were really disappointed about the pool! It was green and was told it was being cleaned the first night.... Read more
