"We just returned from a weekend here. Upon arrival they were overbooked for the weekend so, we only had 1 room booked - although the reservation was clearly for 2 rooms and 7 people!!. The rooms were very impressive for the price, the location was fantastic, but not so great for families, with drunken hotel guests at 3am! The parking is very limited - and the alternate parking place was a block away, which in the dark was not a nice walk. Upon returning from a busy day out with children, we had to twice go and obtain new room keys as they did not activate ours properly. There were a lot of mix ups and it made the experience very inconvenient. Also, there is no free Wi-Fi, but we had to pay $6 per day."

"Loved our stay at PB Surf Beachside Inn this past February 2013! One block from the beach and at a very reasonable price was the major plus. Rooms were newly renovated and fresh. Did not eat the Continental Breakfast (rolls and coffee) from the hotel's main office; enjoyed breakfast every morning at nearby Kono's. Parking is free, but obviously availability is limited late at night (parking on the street nearby was no problem though). Bars and restaurants are a walking distance as well. This place will be highly recommended to anyone looking for a clean, simple hotel at a great value (and almost on the beach)."

"This is probably the best deal i've ever gotten on a hotel. Don't pass this place up! Its very near the beach (about a block) and within walking distance to everything. It's ALMOST beachside. The room was very clean and nicely updated. There were a few loud people that were outside our door but this can be expected at a beachside hotel near bars, restaurants, etc. Staff was friendly. Didn't eat the continental breakfast (Kono's breakfast is a few blocks away and you'd be crazy to pass that up!) but it looked small. Still, for the value, a breakfast is just a plus. We will definately be back!"
