Family weekend away, the hotel staff was so nice, they all were very helpful. This hotel was pet friendly, although the pet relief area was kind of small. Very clean, and covered parking. we will definitely consider staying here again. was very close to all the attractions we wanted to see.

Yikes I had no idea San Diego was so expensive. With that said and done the immediate area (called hotel circle) is filled with hotels that were more money then this one, most however were 10 dollars more; alas la*quinta is pushed to the top of the list for value only to find they make up the difference with parking. In fairness, they do state this on the website, though I did have a car (the rental was even cheaper then the hotels in this town) im not sure they charge you for this even if you d... Read more

We stayed one night at this property and selected the king suite room. The room was clean and comfortable. The property offers room service (which we did not use). There is an additional charge of $10 a night for parking, which was clearly communicated to us before we confirmed our reservation. The location is off to the side of a major highway, which did cause us to hear some traffic noise (but did not intrude on our overall experience). The hotel staff was pleasant and helped us with prin... Read more

Stayed at the adequate Inn for the Memorial Weekend and was pleased with the accomodations and the quality of the included breakfast. Given the other choices in this price range it was a reasonable exchange of services for the price paid

We stayed in 2 rooms adjacent to each other, one room had king size bed and other had kids bunk bed. we had to pay parking fee of 10.00 which is clearly stated on their website. Our room was clean but smelled like mildew of some sort and carpets were dirty. We drove from Utah to stay for 5 nights at this hotel. When we arrived the room wasn't clean (hairs in the bathroom, stuff spilled on the wall). During our stay, a couple of the day's nobody ever showed up to clean the room so I kept having to call the front desk to tell them and ask for towels. It was my 3 kids and I staying and we were at the beach most days so we really needed the clean towels and having things organized when we came back and the end of the day. I found our room to be clean but they had issues giving people towels both for the pool and in our room on one of the days. I'm not a person that usually calls the front desk for things but I was making nightly calls. One day we only had one coffee cup in the room. You had to hold the poor up to get the coffee to drip into it. Towels were scarce for the pool and when I asked for some they said they would send them to the pool. They didn't do this. The price and location were great, but that's where the greatness stops. The walls are paper thin. You know when an adjacent room is using the shower - its like a torrent in the wall. We stayed in the family suite with the bunk bed - there's no door between rooms, the table and 2 chairs were designed for 6 year olds, and their policy is obviously to leave 3 towels no matter how many towels you request. We had the King Size Suite which was nice placing our 1.5 year old in the other room. The room was clean. AC was not loud. We had a very pleasant experience with the room. The only negatives with the visit is that there is a parking fee and that La Quinta needs to improve their complimentary breakfast. The hotel offered waffles where we would like more savory dishes like cooked eggs.
