"Upon arrival at Airport, called desk and was told the shuttle would arrive in 10 min. Thirty minutes later called again and was told the driver of the shuttle would be called to see when arrival would be and where he was. Desk person took my cell phone number at this time. 40 min. later still no arrival and no phone call. Had to call my son from his work place to come get myself and grandchild to take to motel. While driving there, received phone call from desk personnel stating shuttle driver caught in traffic. This was between 11:15 a.m.and 12:30 p.m. Upon leaving, went to desk on day of departure to ask for shuttle to airport and was told a reservation had to be made 24 hrs in advance for this service. Did not notice the small sign at the side of the desk that mentioned this. Withcheck in was not informed by desk personnel to notice this rule. It would have been a courtesy to be made aware of this stipulation. So shuttle experience less that satisfactory. Felt this motel owed me a trip to the airport since they totally botched getting there from the aiport but took a taxi . Day desk person very helpful with information about getting to major attractions by public transportation. Found the San Diego public transportation system close by this motel and very user friendly to get many places. Breakfast room attendant also very polite, friendly, and asked everyone if they had enough or needed anything before she closed this service for the day. Appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the breakfast room. Was also very nice to be across the street from a food market, Einstein Bros, and Starbucks."

"All though I was surprised at how old the hotel was, the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff made up for that. There was nothing that they were not willing to help you with. They made the stay well worth while. Would recommend in a heart beat!"
