Stayed there to be close to downtown and stay at a Holiday Inn property. The Hotel Indigo is very different than your average H Inn hotel. Wood floors, modern amenities, outside lounge with awesome view of city and Petco Park and great staff. Location was perfect for walking to anywhere downtown San Diego. This is a pet friendly hotel but you would never know it. It was spotless and smelled wonderful. We will be returning soon.

We had a great overnight stay. This was a our first time staying at Hotel Indigo and we would definitely be back. We received great service from the valet, front desk (both on checking in and out), maintenance (couldn't get TV to work in the gym) and housekeeping. We stayed in an executive king view. It would have been a bit of an issue in that we were right above the roof top bar; luckily it was a weeknight and the bar closed at 10pm. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was supe... What a gem! Maybe one of the most resonably priced hotels in downtown San Diego. Modern decor and very clean! Check in was a breeze. Staff very friendly! Roof top bar so fun and relaxing after the Padre game. Petco park not only walking distance but viewable from our room. We will definitely be back!

We recently spent 3 nights at the Hotel Indigo Gaslamp Quarter. We were in San Diego to attend several Giants baseball games and the location of the hotel was perfect, just about a 5 block walk to the park. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and professional. The hotel itself was well appointed, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the Level 9 rooftop lounge and bar was perfect for both pregame and postgame drinks and food. The hotel was in the Gaslamp District. Lots of things to do nearby. Walk to the beach, shopping, good eating, and Petco Park. Room was large and inviting with a view to the city. They have a rooftop bar, fun to use when Petco Park is hosting a ballgame. We ate breakfast in the hotel and the food was very good. Lots of places to eat and drink all around the hotel. The staff was pleasant and always helpful. Would stay there again.

Pros: Friendly front desk staff Nice lobby Clean room Spacious bathroom Cons: No refrigerator in room (big deal for people who like cold water & juice whenever) No pool (not a deal breaker but would have been nice to have) Really expensive valet Rooms not insulated well (could hear our neighbors through the vent???) Overall, decent place but won't likely return.

This hotel is really awesome! The rooms were large, view from high floor was fantastic and the location is perfect. Close to restaurants, bars, attractions, but still quieter part of gaslamp. Front desk personnel were SOOO helpful and attentive. We called down for extra towels, creamer, coffee etc and they responded very quickly. Keurigs in room are a plus. Beds are very comfy. 9th floor rooftop bar is great too...and pet friendly. Prices are reasonable. Really loved it!

We hosted an event at Hotel Indigo's Level 9 Rooftop Bar for our Strata residents and I couldn't be happier! The view is amazing. The food was delicious. The service was fantastic. Level 9 has a great vibe and it was so nice to relax around the fire with our neighbors. Kudos to Linda Nguyen for helping us to plan a great event!

My husband and I spent two lovely evenings at Hotel Indigo. There are many positives - the front desk is friendly and efficient, the standard rooms are well laid out; the bathrooms are fairly large and have shelf space that can accommodate various travel bags. We enjoyed that the window actually opens for fresh air. The roof top lounge is enjoyable with the fire pits, seating and views. The only negative was when we called before arriving to ask what was included in the room, we asked specif... Read more

The hotel is very nice and the staff are very friendly and efficient. The location is excellent with the baseball stadium close by and several very good restaurants and bars in the area. The staff are very helpful for directions and things to do. Even the in hotel restaurants are very good. The only complaint is 42$/day for parking... But it seems pretty common in the downtown/ gas lamp area. I would definitely stay again.

When we arrived we were greeted by very friendly staff at the front desk and the staff continued to be friendly and helpful throughout our stay there. We stayed in the Executive View room (junior suite) and the room was very large and had a great view of Petco stadium. The bathroom was very spacious and so was the shower. The bed was a bit more firm that we'd prefer but it didn't impact our sleep. The bar had reasonably priced drinks and we had a great bartender. The bar food specials that were available during the baseball games were very delicious. We had the sliders and a quesadilla and the BBQ sliders were the favorite.

I stayed here for 5 nights and mostly enjoyed my visit. I had a great view of Petco Park, it is in a really solid location, and the bed and furnishings were very nice. My wife and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon on the west coast. This was the cheapest of four hotels we stayed in but we loved it and it represented fantastic value. We were really made to feel at home during our week-long stay. The location is perfect for restaurants and bars and a great base to explore all the city has to offer. The area has a real buzz about it on Padres' game days as the stadium is at the end of the road. We would definitely stay again.

Romantic week-end getaway here and we loved it. The superior room we got was spacious and comfortable and the walk-in shower was huge! Location is also very good, as it's on the edge of the Gaslamp quarter, so close to Petco Park you can see it. Which also means it's close to many good places to eat and drink. Staff was amazingly friendly, always smiling and helpful. The only downsides to this pace is 1- the way-to-small pillows and 2- the outrageous price for parking (45$/day).

The staff was excellent. Went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. While the rooms were ok, there were some issues. The flooring looks good, but made noise bleed from every room audible.
