This is a relatively new hotel, thus very clean and fresh. The beds are comfortable and the staff helpful and friendly. It's not quite a close to local attractions as visitors who do not have cars might like. The extra parking charges make this less than a really budget friendly place.

Well located, friendly staff, clean renovated hotel with all amenities for a short stay near airport, touristic attractions and easy access to major highways connecting San Diego's north and south areas.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights while we visited San Diego area. It is very convenient in terms of all the primary attractions - few minutes from downtown and Balboa Park (zoo), across street from Old Town, near Sea World and Mission Bay, 15 minutes from La Jolla area. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. We did not eat in the hotel so can not rate the restaurant. Easy access to freeways going any direction. Nice base for our visit, and would stay here again.

Lovely new hotel across from Old Town San Diego and below the Mission Hills area. Large lobby with a partial atrium surrounding the stairway to 2nd floor and a front balcony on the 2nd floor. Lobby area opens in front to a large pergola area with a fountain and space for receptions, etc. in good weather. The breakfast room is spacious and welcoming with a bar at one end and dinner is also served there on certain days. There is a covered outdoor eating space between the dining room and pool. B... This property appears to be very new - driving up to it seems like an arrival at a 5 star hotel. The rooms are large, clean and well appointed. We were very happy with the location - very easy access to downtown, Point Loma, La Jolla etc. An excellent choice and good value in San Diego.

The bathroom had hair all over it upon atrival, the wifi kicks you off every hour, the breakfast was worse than McDonald's all for a very high price. The front desk staff was not nice at all when asked about problems we were having.

This hotel location was more than perfect. Nested between two major highways. In the heart of Oldtown San Diego, 5 minutes to downtown, 20 min to La Jolla, 5 min to airport. Hotel is new (1 yr), staff was very attentive and accommodated our request. If staying for more than a couple of nights, request to face the front of the hotel. The back faces the highway.

The stay here was extremely nice. The rooms were large and clean. The beds and bathroom were very clean. Friendly staff. Very good central location to Point Loma and Coronado Island. Old Town San Diego and access to great restaurants are within walking distance. We will definitely stay here again when in town. Added note, our reservation was moved here due to a power outage at the Hampton Inn Mission Valley. The people at Hampton Inn and Hilton Garden Inn handled the situation very profe... Read more

This hotel is in old town just a couple miles from Sea World and a few miles from a shopping mall. It is clean, comfortable and the staff is very helpful. The décor is contemporary and looks very nice. However, the bathroom door in the room serves a dual purpose of both closet and bathroom door at the same time. While it makes space saving sense it did cause some odd situations when one of us wanted to get out of the bathroom while another was using the closet and vise versa.
