We always try and stay at Embassys when ever possible. And this stay was perfect like all the rest. Our room was quiet and clean. Front desk was kind and professional. The pool and hot tub are always a nice touch too. Breakfast is never a disappointment either. Would totally stay at this hotel again!

Stayed here for a Family Vacation to SEA WORLD. Pictures looked lovely we always stay t Embassy Suites but never in San Diego. Big disappointment NO parking had t be VALET only. We came to enjoy ourselves and sightsee we were not able to come and go as we pleased. We tried to park on the street to avoid valet and Extra fees. Our room was not cleaned we had to call for service and clean towels. It just wasn't the service Im accustomed to from an Embassy. I did voice my concerns TWICE and the sec... Read more

Arrived late night after a day of flying only to find out they overbooked and were walking us to another hotel. We loaded the car back up and drove to the hotel they had arranged for us only to find it located in an area that was not appropriate for a family vacation. People were walking all over the streets as they exited the local bars and clubs. Not knowing the area we did not even feel safe exiting the car and returned to the hotel, after a pause at a DWI checkpoint, to let them know of thei... Read more

The hotel staff was great. Very friendly. The location of this particular hotel was perfect. Close to restaurants, shopping and the ocean a few miles away. The morning buffet was fabulous, everything you could ever want for breakfast from cereal to pancakes, special made to order eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, etc. Also in the evening you can go to the lounge and get free cocktails and appetizers. What a great deal. We also ate dinner at the bar and it was very good. If you like PF Changs t... Read more

Easily accessible with self-parking (fee) or valet (extra $4.00) parking when you arrive. The lobby is impressive when you walk in, one of those hotels built around the lobby with windowed elevators. There is a planted atrium , koi pond, seating areas and bar/restaurant. Check in was easy. We had a one bedroom suite, nice size for two people with living/dining area larger than bedroom. Room was clean but furnishings are a bit tired and should be updated. Coffeemaker, microwave, refrigerator and ... Read more

We stayed at this hotel with our son, daughter-in-law, and two grandkids (6 & 3). I highly recommend this hotel. Upon check-in I found that my room was in the front and across from the elevators. I hate that. A young lady (Julianna) happened to be walking by with a luggage cart. I asked if I could use it and she said she would handle it. She went out front to my wife, loaded all of our luggage and came back in. She then proceeded to finish up our check-in and changed my room to the back. ... Read more

In my opinion these are the best hotels. Great 2 room suites, complimentary breakfast and a 2 hour managers reception with complimentary drinks each evening. Friendly staff and a good standard of cleanliness throughout.

Beautifully appointed hotel with suites that have every amenity - from a full service bar to a mini fridge, room safe, in-room coffee or tea. A fine staff to attend to your every need. It seems closer to a luxury hotel than an Embassy Suites - for this reason, an excellent value.

We arrived September 1 and the evening reception was peaceful. Friday September 2 reception was chaos as families came from AZ, CA for a soccer tournament and there was very little supervision of these kids. There were hundreds of kids running around, spilling their drinks, running up/down the hallways, kicking soccer balls in hallway (I was on 11th floor), thought a ball would go over the rail to the lower atrium, kids trying to see how many they could "stuff" into an elevator and ride up/dow... The Hilton Honors attitude was not present within if you are doing me favor in a very condescending way is not typically what I have received at Hilton properties. Of course, once I said my stay would be cut short the attitude change. However, when I did leave the next day I was charged a $75 check our fee...since being a Diamond this was the first and the last unless Hilton organization takes the appropriate action (refunding my $75 and coaching the staff that the customers are... My husband & I stayed 2 nights in this Embassy Suites property in August 2016. This Embassy Suites is one of the largest we've ever stayed in. We were pleased overall with our stay, & we would definitely choose to stay here again. Although it's a bit of a drive to La Jolla's beach area, it's still in a decent location not far off main highways to travel to other places in the metro. The hotel was clean, & our room was nice & spacious. We both slept well during our stay. We used the gym both mo... Read more

The staff at this hotel is simply amazing! The first honorable mention is Alison (I may not have the correct spelling). She has such a great can do attitude and no task or request is too large. She was working one night in happy hour & the next morning at breakfast. She went above and beyond for everyone who had a request. She is a big asset to your facility. The next honorable mention goes to Rebecca & the staff at the front desk who helped me with everything from a key that wouldn't work to a ... Read more

The service received from Adam, Rochelle and the other front desk staff was amazing. I will definitely use this hotel for future special events. They made out stay very relaxing and my daughter enjoyed her 16th birthday to the fullest. So did her friends.
