"Overall experience was good...Resort has nice layout and in perfect location in proximity to the 'strand' and a tasty fish taco stand. The only thing remotely negative is that the hot tub and bar close early. For someone on vacation it would be nice to have some amenities available later."

"My husband and I had recently won tickets to a Charger game, and off to San Diego we planned to go! While online, I pulled up the Bahia offer and was amazed at the price. More amazingly, though, was how wonderfully we were treated, start to finish. Everyone was wonderful, the breakfast buffet also wonderful, the surroundings amazing. I cannot say enough. We truly rested, enjoyed each other's company, as well as the HUGE jacuzzi! Wow!

We also took advantage of the exercise room. The only thing that would have made our experience any better, in the words of my husband, would have been if the Bahia could have helped the Chargers pull off a victory! Thanks!"

"Let me preface my words by saying I would normally only stay at all-inclusive properties with a 5 or 6 star rating. I believe this was rated at 3 stars, a bit generous. This property is very old and has seen it's better days. The restaurant and bar are modern but the room while clean is not very modern. The refrigerator had a freezer with no door on it.. There was a floor lamp that had to be over 50 years old. The patio door took two hands to force it open. The front door had a big gap in the side, it was hard to close. I thought the prices for the food and beer a bit on the high side. A burger w/fries was $13.95. A draft beer was $4.75. Just let me say the next time I travel it will be to an all-inclusive with a 5 or 6 star rating"

"The Bahia is located near the bus route so it is easy
.y acces to public transportation It is also walking distance to Mission Beach where there is bike rentals and restaurants The Bahia is clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant on site is expensive, but delicious, but because of its location-we ate at the restaurants outside of the resort
We had a great time-rode our rented bike on the bike paths to Pacific Beach, Sunset Cliff , La Joilla Played tennis, watched the surfer. Rode the Bahia Belle on Saturdaynight. Next trip to San Diego, I Will stay there again, but not in February-it was only in the 50s, so it was too chilly to ride those huge waves"

"What a wonderful time again at this resort .. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place

Our stay begin with getting to the room that did not face the Harbor ( :( )

One phone call later, was told that she had a room but not the same for our entires stay.. ( :( )

She said by the time I brought the keep back she would have it figured out..

A mere 15 minutes later , we were in our room ( the whole stay ) beachfront

One example of the staff service here, Able to ask all the tourist questions..
