Got a room here for a 1 night stay at a very affordable price!! The room was clean, spacious, & the bed was comfy! This hotel had everything I was looking for when booking, i.e., a nice small gym, free wifi, & free parking. I liked that room had a microwave and fridge. The heater worked very well considering it was cold when I went. I liked that the bathroom counter had lots of room for me to put all my toiletries & makeup & it had good lighting! The hotel is CONVENIENTLY located a short walk aw... Read more

Enjoyed our stay! Was a little apprehensive seeing they provided earplugs along with the shampoo etc. It is downtown and has a lot of foot traffic due to the close proximity of Old Town. We loved being that close and we didn't even need the earplugs! It is an older Hotel so there is a little wear and tear showing, but very clean. The bed was awesome!

This was a great location to walk to the Golden 1 for a Kings game. The room was clean & spacious. Breakfast was something to start the day - nothing was excellent - I think the eggs were powdered & not much fruit & no individual yoghurt.

Stayed here recently for a weekend trip. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Affordable rates and walking disctance from Old Sac for sightseeing and shopping. Minutes from nightlife. Great value for location.

the only good thing was it was close to Amtrak and Old Town. The room was ok, the wall are paper thin and the road outside the door made for no sleep. The free breakfast was horrible.I guess you get what you pay for.

Very comfortable bed for a good nights sleep. We had a quite room this time. Short walk to where we were going. Very helpful staff checking in and departing. Breakfast was better than most and freshened often

I appreciate the location of the Vagabond Inn Executive Sacramento Old Town...right off the freeway...right next to old town. I've enjoyed my stay there on several occasions. I'm required at least 200 words, so I wrote this last sentence. : )

The room was nice. The service was great and so was the breakfast. We did not expect all the options for a full breakfast. We went to Old Town for New Years and it was a short walk away. We would stay again.

First off, the place is clean and it's location to the train museum is a definite plus. It's a motel, but it does include a pretty decent breakfast. The one downside to me is that in the past I've stayed at the Holiday Inn, and while farther from the museum, it's still very close to Old Town and everything is in close proximity. It all depends on how much cheaper the Vagabond is running in comparison to the Holiday Inn. I feel like the Holiday Inn is overall a little nicer and it's not jutted up... Read more

The location was convenient since we were staying overnight between Amtrak trains and wanted to go see the State Railway Museum (which was excellent). The room was clean and the amenities good. My father had the included breakfast and thought it was a good value. The only real downside is the noise from traffic given the proximity to the highway. They did provide earplugs in the room for each guest which is appreciated. Otherwise we were very satisfied.
