This was a very nice property. The grounds were very well kept. Stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite, and it was roomy and clean. My only complaint was that the shower in my bathroom did not drain very well. But other than that I was overall impressed. Breakfast was good except for the fake "eggs", likely some kind of egg substitute or eggs from a carton. Internet worked well, and was fast.

My wife and I staid here for ten nights. Check-in was fast, friendly and informative. Our studio suite was renovated not too long ago. Everything was clean and comfortable, yet nothing special compared with other hotels of this brand. During our stay we only experienced minor flaws mainly with breakfast and the exercise room. We addressed the issues with the manager who was appreciative and very personable. On one weekend evening a big group of foreign travelers occupied the whole lobby and adja... Read more

Stayed for tow nights in April Room: studio exceeded expectations. Very spacial. Great layout. Clean. Enjoyed swivel TV and kitchen set up as well as sweets in room and dishwashing soap! Service: easy check in, friendly staff, free shuttle to restaurant for Friday night. Breakfast: great continental service. Location was great but a bit difficult to find at first...kind of tucked away off of El Camino. Don't let pictures fool you; tennis court in photo is really small sports court/ maybe v... Read more

Friendly and accommodating front desk staff. Their free breakfast really can get you going in the morning but the thing I love most is their complimentary dinner with great food and free beer and wine!!! Their suites are awesome with full kitchen functionality, makes you feel at home. This is the place I will go to every time I visit Sacramento!!! Have nothing bad to say about the place.

Convenient location, staff very friendly, not very good about keeping fresh towels in the pool or in the exercise room. Decent breakfast, our room was facing the pool and the basketball court and it was a little too noisy.

I stayed here twice during my travels as it was close to the airport. The rooms are excellent. They are like efficiency apartments with kitchens. The decor is very nice as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great place to bring kids too.

We stayed here as a family of 7 adults. We booked 2 - 2 bedroom/2bath rooms across from one another. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms itself were very nice but could be a bit more comfortable. They only have a small couch in the "living room" area so when there are 3 adults only 2 can sit on the small couch. The other sat in the chair at the desk. Our biggest complaint with this room was the AC. We were there when the weather was in the high 90's. Supposedly Marriott has revamped th... Read more

Other than the fact the refrigerator was almost right next to my bed and the A/C units outside my room were noisy, it was a great stay! I am a very light sleeper, I wish the room had a closing door to the mini kitchen and maybe next time I will ask for a room on the 2nd floor. The kitchen has everything you need to whip up a nice meal! The bed was very comfortable, I highly recommend ANY Marriott brand hotel! I will NEVER stay at a cheap hotel again, it IS so worth the price to spend a bit extra... Read more

My husband, 4 yr old, and 6 month old, and I stayed here for two nights because of work training close by. The 2 bedroom suite is so big, with a wood burning fire place, full kitchen, except an oven, and each bedroom had a tv, full closet, and a bathroom. The rooms on the second floor only have stairs, but we were put in building 10. I loved the room. We had some minor issues with lighting flickering in the ceiling fan, tv reception some of the time , and fridge temperature being adjusted, but i... Read more

This is one of the better hotels I've visited. The rooms are fantastic with the full size fridge and separate rooms. I am staying here for about 1 out of my 2 month visit and have only found one annoyance. When I leave for the day, the thermostat resets while I'm gone to 71*. So I get back and it feels a little too warm, but it cools quickly after I turn it t down. The breakfast is better than most Holiday Inn's. It's close to a walking trail that goes downtown. Downtown itself is only 3 exits ... Read more

Drove to Sacramento to visit family. Having family here made it easy to find a safe place around everything. The location was nice and the property was nice. I wasn't impressed with the breakfast but my wife and daughter were OK with it. I would at this location again!

Love the two bedroom suite. Super clean rooms. Nice kitchen. Comfy. Relaxing. If you have to be away from home this could be your second home easily. Definetly a place to come back to. The staff have all been friendly, efficient and very helpful with any request or question.

This is the second time that we decided to stay at this Residence Inn. We previously used our free annual certificate to pay for our stay, but this year, decided to pay for a two room suite. This was a tremendous improvement mainly for the extra space and second bathroom. The kitchen was minimally supplied but was adequate for our cooking needs. Good value and convenient. See you next year.

We stayed one night after flying in from the East Coast. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was better than other hotel (e.g., Holiday Inn Express, Comfort Inn). There are some quick bite places next to the hotel for food. It's close to Old Town and downtown.

There was a Front Counter I assume she was a lead person there @ the Residence Inn who should absolutely should be considered for a management position due to her excellent people & resolution skills, that person is Ariel Doyle I had 20 people come up for a BBQ for my son & his wife's birthday celebration only to find out that neither of the propane grills were working and actually a fire hazard and we were going to be left with 25LBS. of uncooked chicken & food not being able to warm up with gue... We stayed in a beautiful studio suite, clean and well decorated with a full bath and partial kitchen and comfortable beds. Nice breakfast bar and free wifi. The only thing you need to be aware of is all units have queen beds and there is no elevator for second floor units. Overall this is a great place to stay and we would return if in the area.

Our two bedroom suite was exactly what we needed - my husband and I were traveling with my dad, and the two bedrooms and bathrooms were great. We all enjoyed the breakfasts, and one of the evening meals. When we asked the manager if we could pay for 2 of our friends to join us for the evening meal, he wouldn't let us pay, saying "your guests are my guests!"

My team came to West Sac for a weeklong visit at one of our corporate locations. Each of us had a comfortable room, great coffee and adequate breakfast. If I were to pick one word,. it would be comfortable. The location was great as well. It seemed to be centralized as well. Most of the well rated restaurants are one J street downtown which is only a 10 min. drive away. Would definitely stay here again!

Just 5 minutes drive to historical downtown which was absolutely fascinating with real typical 1800's town, railway museum and the best garlic fries ever ! Luxurious suite with great kitchen facilities. Comfy bed.excellent breakfast. We had a great 2 night stay.

Stopped here for one night got a king bedroom with kitchenette, perfect size fory husband and I and our two dogs, and also two very large fields for them to run and play, it was within walking distance to places to eat, and about 10 min drive to other restaurants like chillis. My only disappointment was the ac would not stay on constant it said that the room temperature was 60 but we both woke up in a sweat and when I called the front desk they were not familiar on how to keep the ac on constant... 3 adults and 1 child shared a 2 bedroom 2 bath downstairs unit. It was great. Beds were super comfy, updated kitchen, bathrooms etc. Staff was friendly, breakfast had so much variety. Pool was heated. This will be our go to place when staying in Sacramento.
