Spent three nights here recently. It got good reviews, so I tried it. Not a bad place for the price, but I will likely stay somewhere else next time. Pros: Price. Close to outlet malls and a few restaurants. Close to a nice hiking/biking trail. Quiet. Nice, friendly staff. Clean. Conti breakfast was comfortable. Cons: Dark rooms as they use energy efficient bulbs everywhere. I struggled to see anything, hence had all the lights on, all the time negating the benefit of the low wattage bulbs. As... Read more

Located right across the Folsom Outlet with easy access to HWY 50 yet still tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Larkspur Landing in Folsom is a true hidden gem. Very friendly and accommodating staff awaits you and the comfiest pillows! Nice ambiance and very quiet rooms and not to mention, quality breakfast with plenty of choices. Not only do I love staying at this hotel for its comforts but it's also quite sentimental to me as this is where I first met my fiancé. Will definitel... Read more

Room - Clean and nice room, bed is comfortable Facilities - provide self service washing machine which require to little pay. is clean to use Breakfast - very simple, require to improve Hotel staff services - cant get much help from the frontdesk people when asked for travel information. they have limited knowledge Transportation - you need to prearrange for the transpor... Great location, clean, nice staff, reasonable. Breakfast was light but sufficient. If you want a sit down, eggs, bacon, etc, you won't get that but there are plenty of pastries, cereal, hard boiled eggs, juice, coffee, tea... The lobby has tea, coffee and infused water all day which is nice as well. Reasonable cost for the location, well appointed, nice (very hot) Jacuzzi tucked in a corner right off the parking lot so not "resort - relax under the stars type of Jacuzzi" but great for the bo... The room was very nice, the lobby as well. The breakfast is a very good one, I could say that it has lots of options. Coffee all day, newspaper, fireplace. Just in front, even walking, there is the Outlets. I also saw some people from Guadalajara, I think they were working in a project with Intel, which is really close to the hotel. A nice experience for a weekend holiday. I just remember, the kitchen was very very nice (I mean small, it is an hotel room, yet nice.)

Neel or Neil, the midnight front desk person is the most unprofessional hotel personnel that I have ever met. I hope you don't have encounter him during your stay, it makes this otherwise perfect place to a night of living hell.

I have never in my life had a worse customer service experience. After one night already staying in our hotel room we went out the second evening and came back to our room key not working. My husband and I tried to get a new one but Neel was not willing to help us and figure out how we could verify our information. Instead he was blatantly rude and kept saying his manager is his close friend and would take his side. We were getting very frustrated but for a good reason. I have worked customer se... Read more

There are two great features of the Larkspur - fresh lemon/mint water always available in the lobby, and fresh cookies every evening. The hotel rooms are fine - nothing bad, nothing worth complaining about. The rooms are quite spacious as most have small kitchen areas. The hotel is located just across Folsom Blvd from a great set of trails that run along the American River (a high priority for me). The area is quite despite being located in a commercial shopping center area.

Nice hotel, great customer service. The suites are nice, however the light in the bathroom was very dim and dark and no one fixed it and there is only one A/C unit in a room with 2 separate bedrooms so one of the rooms won't have as much air flow. The couch bed is a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise, nice and clean. Comfortable room over all. And good free breakfast, free cookies and free coffee.

Spent 4 nights at this hotel on a recent trip to visit family in Sacramento. I notified the hotel prior to our arrival that we would be arriving in the early hours of the morning as our flight into San Francisco was at midnight. However, when we got to the hotel at 3:30am the front door was locked and we had to ring a few times for someone to open. We were told that they were not aware of our late arrival and was about to cancel our booking as a no-show. This was just a slight hick-up. Over... Read more

We needed to reserve a block of rooms for my daughters wedding. Jennifer was the one who helped me and she could not have been nicer or more on top of things. When we and our guests checked in, the entire staff was wonderful. The rooms were large and equipped with a small kitchen and far exceed our expectations. We were able to use their computers and printers. The hotel is conveniently located near Hwy 50 and to many of the amenities in Folsom. Our wedding guests all commented on how nice... Read more

Although I didn't spend allot of time at the hotel I was very pleased at the entire experience for the price. The room was clean had a two burner kitchenette with a full size refrigerator. I arrived late at night (about midnight) and the night manager was very friendly. I would highly recommend staying here.

The room was modern, VERY clean and with great amenities. The kitchenette was more than adequate and had an electric cooktop, dishwasher microwave and full size fridge. The room was quiet and while they said they had a modest continental breakfast, the selection was extensive.

The Larkspur Landing in Folsom is one of the finest hotels we have stayed at anywhere. The room was better then advertised large well appointed and comfortable. The staff from the very welcoming and helpful front desk group to the house keeping folks were all fantastic. Hotel is conveniently located by restaurants, shopping, and other amenities. The 5 pm chocolate chip cookies were a great treat I will search for Larkspur Landing's in our future travels

My sister and I recently stayed at this location this past weekend and we had a wonderful weekend of laughing and relaxation not to mention great shopping. Our room was very nice even though there was a mistake in oyr bed accommodations. We were given a room with a king bed instead of two queens. Luckily I was able to put up with my sisters snoring and she put up with me talking in my sleepū???. I want to thank Ashley for everything she did to make our get away great. We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Easy to uber to Sac and back for a fun weekend. Glad to know they are pet friendly so we know next time we can bring our fur babies and not have to try to find someone to pet sit. Highly recommend this hotel.

We felt at home at Larkspur Landing. We loved the cozy feel as soon as we opened the door. We were not like in a big, open space. It was like stepping into our own apartment with a view of the night lights. The Outlet Mall nearby was a nice surprise. Outside our window we could see 2 restaurants. All was clean and in order, even a kitchenette complete with cupboards of dishware, dishwasher, coffee maker, laundry room, a refrigerator and stove if one would wish that....a dimmer light made a nice t... Having 2 tvs is a lot of help when your husband wants to watch sorts and you don't. It was also nice to have the kitchen with full size fridge! Average hotel, across the road from the Folsom Outlet Village. No restaurant or bar, very limited breakfast options . It's not exactly a breakfast buffet... Rooms are reasonably sized , although I had one of the smaller rooms this time. Beds are comfortable, and bathrooms functional. Only real issue I had was the noisy fridge/freezer in the kitchenette. I ended up unplugging it overnight. A/C is also quite loud when running, so if you are a light sleeper, this might cause an issue. Other... Read more

My spouse and I stayed here recently - the second time in several years. We loved it the first time, but I was curious how I would experience it the 2nd time, several years later. The good news is that the rooms are still excellent - suite style with kitchenette and many amenities. The staff is still friendly and helpful. And the breakfast is still excellent with a wide variety of food, and can be eaten on in the room off the lobby, or taken to your room. Excellent selection of cable channe... Read more

We arrived late after driving from San Jose after a concert. Check-in late went well, pushed the late bell and were admitted quickly and checked in. We were given all the information required, including best place to park, side doors to access easily, breakfast hours and wifi passwords. Room was clean and inviting, and had a full-sized fridge. Nice coffeemakers in the room, although I got my coffee downstairs the next morning. Breakfast was OK, nothing special, but it IS free, and there are ... Read more
