Something went missing from my room and Gigi at the front desk was extremely helpful !! She immediately handled the situation and was extremely friendly. I ended up finding what went missing because it was actually moved to another location in the room my room service:) but she made the process smooth and easy!

Very clean room with extra towels and pillows as requested prior to my stay. Brendan at the front desk was very helpful and professional. He recommended some local restaurants including the bistro at the Courtyard right next door within walking distance. Room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, a great variety of choices. Right off the 99/80 highway. Just minutes from Cal Expo, Water Park, Restaurants and Shopping. Great location!!!!!!!

When I checked in I was very impressed with Gigi at the front desk. Very friendly and engaging. Committed to making sure i was welcomed and wanted to know if there was anything that I might need. She called my room to make sure all was in order. Nice breakfast and coffee available. Do not know why the courtyard's have eliminated free coffee.

The location, room and breakfast was very good. What made it great was the welcoming and friendly nature of Gigi at the front desk. She even let me borrow her personal cell-phone charger overnight! Truly Above and beyond.

We found the Fairfield Inn Cal Expo to be an excellent property for most reasons. The only reason I give the overall rating as very good is because of the train horns from the trains which cross Exposition Blvd. about 1/2 mile from the property. The trains come through about every 20 to 30 minutes into the early morning hours and then continue early morning around 5 a.m. Unfortunately I am a light sleeper (comes from living in the country where the train sounds come from 2 miles) Otherwise, ... Hotel was great: newly remodeled, clean, welcoming staff. Good full breakfast, all-day coffee and tea, parking, and WiFi included. Room spacious, and bathroom with new granite countertop. We stayed here to ride the Jedediah Smith (aka American River) Bike trail from Sacramento to Folsom. Hotel was right off one of the access points to the trail. Left our bikes lightly locked to the outside of the car overnight with no issue. Only negative is that you do hear the train loud whistle, but it did ... Read more

Stayed here just one night. I was in town on personal business and had to find a quick place to stay for the night. I normally spend hours searching for the right place. I chose this hotel chain because of my good experience at the Rancho Cordova Fairfield location. The hotel staff was very nice. I didn't get a chance to tour this hotel like I normally try to do. However we were able to spend a couple of hours in the pool. Pool area was nice and clean. Great location if you are planning to ... Read more

This is our go to hotel when I'm Sacramento because of it proximity to the freeway Hwy 50 & Int 80. They have recently remodeled and it is beautiful . The rooms are spacious but the black-out curtains are too short/small so bring your own eyewear. It is next to the RR tracks and the train does run during the night. They do provide 1 set of ear plugs. The staff has always been great. The continental breakfast is yummy. The mall w/movie theater is 5 minutes away and its across the freeway from th... Read more

I booked this hotel after deciding my husband and I would be going to the State Fair at Cal Expo. I am so glad I chose this hotel!! First off, with the mobile app I was able to do a pre check-in. This was so amazing. My room was ready at 9am. Of course, this might not happen every time, so be prepared. The check-in was smooth and the clerk was super friendly. She even saved me $4 by buying my tickets at the hotel. Score!! The location of the hotel was awesome as well. We walked to the fair a... Read more

It was conveniently located to everywhere we wanted to be, they served hot breakfasts, kept the pool and hot tub clean and well-maintained, gave us soap for the washing machines, and the gym was equipped for a decent workout. The only thing which would have made it perfect is if they train didn't start running right by it so early in the morning. Even so, We'll stay here again.

Absolutely the nicest affordable hotel I have found. Could not find anything in the place that wasn't cleaned well. Everything was topnotch 5star+++... paid in cash and they required a large cash deposit. $50.00 being returned at checkout and the rest was mailed very promptly to me. Breakfast is different day by day but is amazing buffet style breakfast. Very very nice! Most defiantly recommend this for your stay in Sacramento!

Great location to go all directions. Hotel was clean, staff was pleasant and friendly. Our stayed included four days and when returning each day or room was clean as when we checked in. Breakfast was fresh and great way to start the day. Will stay again when returning to Sacramento.

From check in to check out (6 nights) we experienced first rate service on this trip to visit a friend. We checked in around noon before our scheduled room was prepared, but the front desk easily found an available room allowing us to rest quickly in air conditioned comfort. The front desk was also very helpful in identifying restaurants close by so we could grab a quick bite before settling in. For the next week, the complimentary hot breakfast was ample with make-your-own waffles, scrambled e... Read more

Pretty average Fairfield Inn. Decent decor, good breakfast, and hot cookies in the afternoon. The room was clean and large. The bathroom was huge-almost strangely so. There is some train noise. There were earplugs in the room. I didn't need them, but if the train whistle bothers you this may not be your place. Really wonderful front desk staff, especially Erikka. She sent us to an amazing taco stand (Chando's) that we would have never found and gave us loads of other great advice.

I love Marriott brand hotels! Their beds are comfy, they serve fresh baked cookies in the lobby and we get breakfast everyday with our room, who wouldn't like that?? Our room smelled a little like smoke and we were in a non smoking room and the A/C was cranked up in the 1st floor hall on way down to lobby which I think is a waste otherwise, descent place!!

The staff were very easy to work with and very attentive to our needs. I brought our team up for a competition at a local college and they made our stay very easy. From booking, to check in, and special arrangements for breakfast, they catered to our every need. it is a quiet and clean facility and offered everything we needed. Brad was very helpful with our very late arrival and check in and made sure our student athletes had everything they needed prior to an early morning departure for com... Read more

Staff was very friendly and the room was nice and clean, what more could you ask for! Love Marriott hotels! The beds are very comfortable with a/c in each room. Carpet and floors are a big deal for me in hotels and I can vouch for this one that the cleaning is done right. Nothing sketchy like some other places I've stayed. You won't be disappointed in Fairfield Inn &a Suites. Their breakfast always hits the spot and gets me ready for the day!

Marriott's generally are good properties this one left us lacking. The beds are fine, the bathrooms fine, the general areas are also fine. Upon check in we were also given earplugs which we thought a little odd. We checked into a older room and knew the reason for the earplugs. Trains and their whistles could easily be heard. We were on a higher floor (3rd) and heard the trains.

Perhaps, I should give them a break and call the review, "you pay for what you get". We booked this room, as we were here to see Winter Wonderland. I was happy to get a room well under 100.00 for a Fairfield Inn, as our experience with Fairfield as been exceptional. Lets go with the positives, and chalk it up as a bad weekend(?). Desk Staff, exceptionally welcoming, and the bed......most excellent. I hesitate to review the room as it was, because we were there early and requested an early c... Read more
