All I can say I should've done more research. Although the staff was friendly, the room was nothing like the one shown. I was expecting quaint and what we got was very low budget. The room was tiny and in disrepair. For example the ceiling in the bathroom has rust and water stains on the ceiling. For the $180 it cost my wife and I to stay at this hotel there were much better choices. To be honest, I would expect more from a Motel 6.

Yes, if you want an "updated" huge room with all the bells and whistles, book a room at a big name hotel. But often its more about the adventure. We love staying at historic venues, and our visit to the Delta King was a blast. We stayed in two different rooms and let me explain why. Our first room was fifth floor, river view (524). The room is not large but it is comfortable with all the amenities (desk, chair, side tables and an armoire with everything a room should have) and a killer view of ... Read more

I recently dined at the Delta King with several business colleagues and co-workers. The service was very good and the food was ok. The Dessert was excellent. The Crab Cake appetizer was good and would have been excellent if it had been served hot instead of warm. The Caesar Salad w/Shrimp was ok, but would have been better if the Shrimp were larger and grilled. A few updates would make this restaurant great!!

We had a great stay. The room was clean and I really enjoyed the old time nautical theme rooms with modern hints. The area is always fun, plenty to do and always ways to get around. The complimentary breakfast was amazing. Great service all around great. Only bad thing i can think of is if your very tall like 6'5" and above. It is a boat so everything was designed smaller. Other then that had no issues. Highly recommended.

LOVED the service and experience at this quaint historic location. The amazing service and food and beverage quality we had in the lounge were exceptional. We came in after 9:30 from a Rivercats game, and they were gracious about serving us so close to the kitchen closing (10:00). I ordered an old vine Zin and the cheese flight plate and my husband ordered the smoked trout and a Big Daddy IPA. Everything was delicious. There was also live music, piano bar style. The hotel stateroom was wonderful... Read more
