We stayed a few nights a couple of different weeks, due to work being done on our house. We were very glad we chose this hotel. Christopher, one of the desk clerks, made sure that our room was perfect for us and that we had everything we needed for our stay. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms are huge and comfortable. We felt as if we were in our own apartment. The hotel is undergoing some upgrades, as the ownership is changing. It's very nice now, so the changes... Read more

The front staff and bistro staff are great ! I have been staying at this hotel for 4 months and have truly enjoyed the says. The only reason I gave 4 stars was that housekeeping could improve. Many times my room was not made or amenities were forgot.

My stay at this hotel was the first time I had to leave a hotel stay early because the hotel was so bad. The bad: there is a severe noise/sound issue (this was the cause of my leaving). The hotel was too noisy to sleep until 2am-6am. Before and after that, you will hear everything (talking, walking, coughing, the sheets rustling in the next room over). The walls are so thin I felt that I had no privacy when talking on my phone or even using the restroom. Other bad items that didn't help th... Read more

Was in town for CIM this weekend in Sacramento and as a loyal customer of the Marriott brand, checked reviews and decided to stay here. The hotel lobby was modern but not clean. It was unkempt. The bedrooms were clean but the bedsheets were paper thin, hope this was due to poor quality. The air conditioner was extremely noisy and would blast cold air onto the bed for 5 mins and then shut off...and repeat all night... It was too hot when the AC was off but freezing cold when the AC was on and the... Read more

If you're doing business with the vast UC Davis Medical Center, or if a person close to you is at the hospital, this is a very good choice to stay close overnight. The hotel is located right in the middle of the UCD Medical Center campus, with no more than a ten minute walk to anywhere on campus. Often hotels that have such a possibility at a captive audience tend to slack off when it comes to service and the condition of the facility, as the belief is that the customers will come no matter wh... We have stayed at this Courtyard next to UC Davis Medical Center twice. This last visit we got in REALLY late and they did save us a room, but it was a handicapped room and the shower head was only about 3 feet high and unmovable. While it wasn't a huge issue, we expressed our concern to the staff. The next morning they were extremely accommodating and made sure we got into another room. Along with excellent staff, (which is important to me), they also have a Starbucks, Deli open 24 hours I bel... Read more

This is a very modern hotel...everything looks new. Rooms are big and have nice furniture. I had a king bed and a full size couch with foot rest. This studio also had a desk space attached to the wall. My stay was nice and quiet despite a big group conference in the banquet rooms downstairs. The pool area also had tables and loungers and a jacuzzi. Pros: Free wifi Ice water in lobby Bistro on site Quiet Staff was friendly and polite 15min from airport <10min from downtown Close to UC Dav... Read more

On the face of it, this hotel is well placed and appears to be modern. It boasts the comfort or its refurbished guest rooms - but sadly this was not our experience. The room we stayed in (257) was badly insulated and we could hear every sound from the neighbouring room. Someone in a Guest room above ours used the shower at 0300 and it sounded like we were in a tin shack in a hailstorm. The toilet extractor fan made a noise like a machine gun and this seemed to be common to other rooms as the ... Read more

This is your average Courtyard Marriott. It is near UC Davis Hospital, so its really convenient if you have a relative staying in the hospital nearby. It can be a little confusing to get to. Some of the surrounding streets are blocked off, which doesn't show up on a GPS obviously. The rooms are clean and quiet, but the carpeting in the hallways looks pretty well used and a little stained. I stayed in room 223 with my wife and son. I didn't get a chance to use the pool or hot tub, but they looked... Read more

The hotel staff was so nice and caring of my needs. The hotel itself was very clean. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the wall were a little too thin. Otherwise I really enjoyed my stay!
