WORST GARDEN INN EVER ! Room smelled like mildew. Be sure to check all dates on packaged food and beverages before consuming - I got expired milk, soda and granola bars - not to mention the salad that had expired over a month ago. The ice machine on my floor was broken and I had to go to another floor. The alarm clock was broken and there is no wake-up call option. Internet is hit and miss, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Bathroom door won't stay open and the sink and tub drain wa... Read more

I have stayed here several times over the past 18 months. The hotel is always well appointed and very clean. The breakfast is usually decent and well-priced. There are several hotels and motels within a stone's throw of this place but I try to return here to the extent possible. For this particular stay, I felt like the goofy guy at a party watching two women openly discuss who was going to 'dance' with me as they tried to identify a room to assign to me. I found this chatter rather odd sin... Read more

Rooms were on par of a motel 6 or super 8! hilton should be ashamed for putting their name on this hotel! Staff was average. I requested a king bed and when I arrived they gave me two queens next to the major freeway! The bathroom door is not user friendly! Always stays closed! Need to prop it open in order to enter and exit!

We had reservations for another hotel up the street, but received a call stating they were overbooked and we were moved to the Hilton Garden Inn. We were supposed to be given a reduced rate and have our breakfast comped. When we got to the hotel, we realized the reduced rate was the normal rate. Most times when this happens the offending hotel usually comps your room. We were told to call the hotel or go there and try to get at least a reduced rate. This is an older facility. Our room was only so-so clean. We stayed two nights and the floor was not vacuumed. There is no complimentary breakfast, there is an on site "kitchen-restaurant". Breakfast was $11.95 per person, and the dinner prices were high. We won't stay here again.

Although I really like Hilton Garden Inns this one in Roseville was not as nice. The hotel is located immediately adjacent to the freeway my room looked out right over the freeway. Too close. Road noise was too loud. The AC unit was also very loud. My room also had a strong order - either someone smoked in the room or sprayed something to hide the smell. Staff were all nice, very helpful and professional. The cost for the night is also low. The small dinning area is great and food and wine were ... Read more

We stayed at the Roseville Hilton Garden Inn over the Holiday weekend, while visiting family in the area. The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly, and their lobby was a great place to find a corner and sit down and visit in. My only negative comments are that the bed was firmer than I enjoy, and I felt like the breakfast buffet price was high, when comparing it to other hotel chains with complementary breakfast buffets.

Based on reviews I selected this hotel because it was neat, clean and well maintained. I was not disappointed. Everything was better than expected. It did cost more than other places but for me the cleanliness was well worth it. The staff was very helpful, the breakfast was pretty good but not great. It would have been great if it was included. I will stay here again the next time I visit the Sacramento area.

Stayed at this past hotel this weekend for 3 nights. The first thing I noticed was the noise in the room as it was directly facing the highway. Then I notice that ear plugs were on the end table. I tried to switch rooms immediately but they were unable to accommodate my request. I am sure the rooms that faced the parking lot were fine but I would not stay at this hotel unless they guarantee you will not be on the highway side.

This hotel has deep mattresses, which would be a plus if the fitted sheets were large enough to wrap under them. Alas, not the case, so during the night the sheet pops off, leaving you on a bare mattress. I think a minimum standard for a hotel is to have sheets on the beds, right?
