Great rooms and staff. Food stuff was ok. The cut fruit was poorly displayed and wasn't touched I wondered how much waste was due to poor selection The lobby music was too loud and the TV had to be turned way up to be heard during breakfast.

My family was in town for a funeral and we all stayed at the hotel. It was a perfect spot to gather throughout the weekend. Hotel was very clean and breakfast was perfect. Will return again, but hopefully not for another funeral. ???

My stay was very nice at this hotel. My wife was having back surgery in San Francisco and I had to keep extending my stay due to my wife's surgery. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The food service for breakfast was very good with a nice variety for every taste.

Do not pay more than $100 a night for this experience. Better rooms available in the Sonoma area for less. Bed was saggy, toilet seat lose, 2 bath towels per room are among some of the limitations of our $300 a night stay. Breakfast area dirty so we did not eat there.

The day of check in we arrived in the evening time. My co-worker checked in 1st then I. I got on elevator to go up to top floor where our room was and the elevator moved really slow, made all kinds of sound from cranking to snapping, and even popping before reaching the top floor. When I get in front of my room door to unlock and get in the Key didn't work. Ok no problem I'll just go tell the lady at front desk. I had to get back on the scary sounding elevator to get back to lobby. I explained w... Read more

Stayed here for 3 nights with hubby & kids...beds are comfy, delicious complimentary breakfast, clean and spacious double-bed rooms, washer & dryer on level 3 close to our room, a refrigerator (provided upon request), free wifi, free parking, great staff and best of all, a heated pool (82 degrees). So given the Bay area's usual temperature -you can actually swim at night. Rebounderz Trampoline House is 3 minutes down the street...A visit to San Francisco is a 30-40 minutes drive. We've visited the Hampton Inn at Rohnert Park several times. The staff is friendly and helpful. They're happy to suggest wineries nearby or help you with other requests. We've always stayed in one of their "studios." These rooms have a small kitchen with refrigerator and microwave, and we used them to have cold day inks and snacks available in the evenings. The room is spacious and has a separate sitting area, so it's nice if you have several people who want to get together and talk. The beds ar... Read more

We stayed here a few times now. This clean, nice hotel is well located for access to Sonoma State University. It is not a fancy hotel. This is a great place, to rest after a long day of sight seeing in Sonoma or packing / unpacking of a college student. The front desk staff is well trained, friendly and service orientated. Plenty of parking.

The highway noise is very noticeable in this hotel. After being gone all day and coming back at 4:30 in the afternoon, our room had not been cleaned. Internet is intermittent, especially in the late afternoon, early evening. If you are visiting wineries, and for restaurants, the hotel is a car ride away. Nothing to do around the hotel, and would not recommend walking as it is not safe because of traffic.

I feel they should have made an effort to extract the water from our carpet. It appeared extremely poor planning to wash carpets on sold out days and then not have proper equipment to dry them. Do you know how disgusting it feels to step onto an unexpectedly wet carpet? We had to use the blow dryer to dry our socks!

Our Hampton Inn associate, Thalia, was SO incredibly helpful to us in finding a place to have dinner and also in locating a winery for us to visit the next day. Thalia spent a lot of time going over the various places to eat, especially recommending Petaluma, which was where we ate, and we were so pleased with our meal there! Thalia was discussing wineries with us, when some other Hampton customers came up behind us. Needing to check the new folks in, Thalia promised to send some wine-tasting v... Read more

I booked this hotel months ago for a wedding in Sebastapool. Even though it was 20 minutes from the venue, I figured I could use my Hilton Honors points so why not. I called about a week before and requested an early check in for the wedding. We arrived at 10am and figured we wouldn't be able to check in but why not try. We stayed here one night on our trip back from Redwoods. The hotel is next to the 101 fwy. The hotel has nice amenities, but one thing I noticed that I didn't care for was that you can hear the freeway noise in your room. I'm not sure if the walls are missing insulation or they have thin Windows, but the noise is very obvious. I have stayed in other hotels that are next to freeways, but really didn't hear the noise.

I always expect Hampton Inn to be a well-run, comfortable hotel with GREAT coffee in the lobby. This one did not disappoint. I would stay there again. It is a convenient location, easy to access coming up from the bay area and an easy drive to wineries, redwoods, and breweries. Even though the hotel is near the freeway, our room was very quiet. The immediate surroundings of the hotel are utilitarian, but that is ok -- we went out and did tourist things every day, as planned.

I just spent most of the week here for business. It was close to work and also sightseeing around the area and the casino is blocks away if you enjoy that. The area is just beautiful anytime of year. The rooms were well appointed, you can select your room online if you belong to Hilton Honors. Free breakfast could have been hotter, and had more variety of good food.....not empty carbs, but it was free.....

I come here once a year on business and will always choose HI&S in Rohnert Park. Cleanliness was amazing, staff was amazing, breakfast is free and bar-none the best I've ever seen at a hotel. You get the value of a 4-star hotel for the price of a 2 or 3. Location is great for seeing everything Sonoma valley has to offer.

This hotel was nice and conveniently located. The breakfast was wonderful and I loved that there was a variety of things to choose from and not just carbs! Our room was nice and comfy. The only thing that I thought needed an upgrade was the gym! The gym was a little too small and limited equipment to use. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Good location to visit winerys and a fantastic Port wine facility in Petaluma. Close to shopping and restaurants. As with all Hampton's the room was clean and had fresh linens. The staff was friendly and gave a great suggestion for a fun Italian restaurant. I try to stay only in Hampton Inns whenever and wherever we travel. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone who want a quite nice room.

If you like the consistency of quality and clean that Hampton Inn puts out, this is a great hotel, especially if you're enjoying the wine country and have some good disposible income. If you're a parent of an SSU student visiting, coming out for something like a RCHS graduation, or visiting family as a previous resident you might feel the pain in the wallet if you're looking for that $90-$120 average at most other places.
