On April 5, I booked and paid $1342 for a room for 4 nights during Sonoma's graduation for May 19-23. On April 15 I had to cancel the room because they required a 3 night minimum stay and we could only stay 2 nights. I was given a cancellation number & told my credit would be issued immediately. My credit card statement came without the credit so I decided to go into the Doubletree after the graduation to make sure the credit is issued. On May 21 I went to the Doubletree front desk (Lisa Wiggi... Read more

The hotel features beautiful exteriors and a great setting. The interior lobby areas are very comfortable and inviting. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Those are the great points. The room was only adequate. Lighting was minimal, especially in the bathroom, I needed to use the flashlight function on my iPhone in order to see well enough to apply makeup. The outlets for hooking up chargers were so loose they did not make contact, I ended up charging my phone in the bathroom. Th... Read more

Pros: Clean, excellent staff Cons: Not one single outlet in my room would hold a plug, they would just fall out of the wall or the lamp. They were ALL this way and I spoke to others in my group that had the same problem. The air conditioners (I had two rooms) can only be described as anemic. For the price of the rooms, it is pretty pitiful that they feel it necessary to charge their guests for wifi.

Room: Good size room. Clean and well appointed. As expected for a DT. It was the lobby that impressed. Large and comfortable. Coffee bar. Plenty of seating. It is a welcoming space. Location: Good general location. Not close to anything special, but not to far from anything in town either. It would make a good home base for exploring the nearby wine country. Service: Very impressed. Friendly at every turn. Helpful staff at the coffee bar. Helpful concierge. All left a good impressio... Read more

The hotel is beautiful and very inviting. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. However, our room had a phone that didn't work, so I had to go to the front desk directly for requests, the comforter had a large hole in it, and several of the outlets incorporated with the lamps were worn out and would not hold a plug, so finding a good outlet to charge the phones was a bit tricky. Other than that, it was very nice place to stay.

This is an excellent hotel. Perfect for the Santa Rosa-Rohnert Park-Cotati-Windsor area. Spacious rooms, good restaurant, good wireless (if you are a member of the HHonors program). But internet is pricey if not. Plenty of parking; attentive saff. Overall, a good place to say. Additionally, it is a departure-arrival point for the SFO and OAK airport shuttles.

The desk staff was friendly and professional. Our meeting room and amenities were perfect. The support from the audio visual team could not have been better. We had breakfast in the café and it was excellent. On top of all this it was a great room too.

We stayed here at the end of our trip to San Fran. We travelled an hour out of the city and the weather jumped to 36 c. The hotel is on beautiful grounds with a relaxed feel to it. There is a beautiful pool which we spent most of our time around. There's a large TV chill out area, pool table, Costa and Bar. Thank you to the lady on reception 18th Sept at around 6pm - she was from Petaluma and recommend the area for somewhere for us to get out and see. We ate in Dempseys that night and high... Read more

This is our fourth time to stay in this hotel for a week or more. The room was clean, the service was helpful, the space was commodious, parking was free, and breakfast was fabulous (we bought the package that includes breakfast). The food at the restaurant is very good for other meals too -- though we came in the midst of a menu change, and prefer the former menu. One quibble is that, when we had trouble with the credit card at the desk, the manager was not called quickly enough. Aside from... Read more

My husband and I made a reservations for one night. We decided we wanted to stay a second night and, although the hotel had room, we were required to change rooms for the second night even though I asked for the additional night early in the morning. Very inconvenient to have to pack and unpack again. The hotel has a restaurant and there are several places to eat nearby. The hotel is on a golf course; however, the lawn was mowed at 8 am right outside our window....

The hotel was clean and comfortable. It is a bit expensive given that the location is not great. It is really a suburban hotel and doesn't feel like it is in wine country. It takes at least a half an hour to drive to Sonoma. If the location was better, I would rate it as 4.5 stars.

I expected more with the price I paid. The hotel in general is decent. The check in was quick and efficient. I also appreciated the warm cookie upon arrival. The room was spacious and clean, although very bland. The room had a patio area that was really just a common hall with a small table and chairs. Unfortunately, the roof from the floor below obstructed any kind of pool view. We ordered room service for breakfast and waited an hour and 1/2 for the food to arrive. I was told when I or... Great central location for hitting all of Sonoma county area wineries. Friendly, clean and comfortable. Our room was very quiet even though we were the first room down the hall from the atrium. Steve, the concierge was great! Lot of great suggestions and coupons for visiting wineries. And great directions too because GPS does not always take the fastest route!

Sonoma Doubletree is a great hotel for wine touring. We had five couples enjoy the friendly accommodations, centrally located for touring Sonoma and Napa wineries, as well as evening dining in Santa Rosa and Petaluma. Great value compared to over-priced hotels near towns of Napa and Sonoma. Shout out to concierge, Steve, who is awesome and incredibly accommodating.

Check in was very easy and the staff was very courteous. The room was nice and well kept. The hotel has a very large lobby with a restaurant, bar, espresso bar and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the space. Be prepared to spend top dollar when staying in Sonoma County. Prices in Sonoma are much higher than Marin or Mendocino counties.

Tried to upgrade to two other rooms and they were even worse. In the process of moving rooms I left my coat in the closest and when I went back to get it, it was gone. The housekeeping staff and the hotel managers can not tell me how when they are the only ones with the key and know one else was staying in the room how my coat was stolen.

Spent 2 nights here in September. Check in a easy and even got a warm cookie. The rooms are large and have good beds and they are very quiet. This place is away from other buildings and main roads so the whole area around the hotel is quiet. The food was good in the mornings and the food that was prepared for our group in their catering room was well above what would be expected. The only complaint was it is a little hard to get signed into their internet. Once signed in, it worked fairly well. ... Read more

It is close enough to Santa Rosa to pop over for dinner. If you don‚??t want to go far, try Mary‚??s pizza shack for great Italian comfort food. The prices of food and wine are very modest.
