"I stayed twice at Best Western Galleria Redondo Beach and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room, teh friendly staff and availability of free Wi-Fi and also internet. I requested a smoking room and was surprised when I was given such a room. My one pet hate was always having to smoke outside when I had paid for a room. The bed was comfortable, the facilities great, I made full use of the laundry facilities and it was located close to the airport and most local tourist areas. I give this hotel a 10 and I am a fussy person when traveling."

"I had read the reviews so I kind of knew what to expect. This was a graduation trip for our daughter. We wanted to stay closer to Hollywood but the price kept bringing me back. It was close enough and convenient to the beaches and other tourist traps via rental car. The Hotel itself is sandwiched in between some small businesses on a pretty busy street. However, getting in and out was no problem. There is a 168 store major mall just one long block down the street. We went in there three times. Nice enough. Most major restaurants are a few blocks back east of the hotel off Hawthorne or Crenshaw. Suggest using Yelp to find good restaurants nearby. We stayed here for a week 7-13 June and were pleased with the service, the room, and the amenities. The beds were well padded and slept very comfortably. Fridge and Microwave were useful. We stayed on the 3rd floor and noise was not a problem with the air on. Some people left their doors open to enjoy the mild weather. The air conditioner did rattle a bit at times but we slept well after touring all day. The housekeeping did a first rate job of cleaning for us. The continental breakfast was just that. Good selection of pastries, juices, coffee, milk boiled eggs, and a waffle maker. They have a small breakfast area but it was never full as many took trays of food back to the room. The desk help was friendly and warmed up quickly when engaging them with questions and for recommendations. It is amazing what being nice to people can do. They have complimentary newspapers on the counter. They have a small jacuzzi pool but it wasn't used very much due to it being cool weather. It was surround by plants and some of that debris did appear to make its way into the pool. This hotel met our needs for the week. What we didn't pay for in an upscale address and amenities we were able to use to do more on our vacation. That what a budget traveler looks for."

"You get what you pay for. paper thin walls, tiny bathroom, phone did not work. Had someone look at it, he rang the front desk, they answered, so he said it worked. Then my husband rang 3 times from Australia, and we had to scream into mouthpiece and he kept saying he could not hear us. So we rang the desk, and guess what they couldn't hear us, I went the next mornnig and reported the phone. We were checking out at 12 noon, and we asked if our bags could be stored till 5pm, as we were getting picked up by a shuttle for our late flight home to Australia. That was okay but we had emailed my husband to ring us at 5pm, so he would know we were okay. I had told the girl at the desk, and when he rang, she still didn't understand him, but I finally spoke to him for a few minutes. Then our shuttle was 35 minutes late, and the driver rang twice but the girl didn't let us speak to him to find out what the problem was. We asked to use the bathroom as it got later but were told that was only for guests, I said isn't there one for people using the pool spa, but she said no. I said that was inhumane not to allow someone to even use a staff toilet, when necessary. They were a funny crowd, and a very unhappy last day in USA."
