"Casino was a little smoky but the place was grand. The decor was very modern and there was no line for the check in. We got a balcony room on 14th floor and it was quiet. There were only 6 rooms on the floor so it was very nice. The room was roomy and the bathroom with the large tub and large shower was nice. We also did the agua caliente for two at the spa and that was very relaxing and fun. Staff was really nice all around and The Steakhouse was delicious. Would come again."

"I was not satisfied with my stay at Agua Caliente as i did not receive what was included in the rate, like the $25 casino credit, nor the morning paper. My telephone did not work and the last day I tried to use the express check out on the TV and that didn't work either. I wish I would have known that there is no Buffet on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. No live music anywhere or shows."

"The Palm Springs area was the perfect stop to rest and refresh from a long 10 hour bike ride from New Mexico. Agua Caliente was conveniently located off of the freeway and the deal I got through my travel website, I couldn't pass up. The room was very nice. Loved the bathroom with its huge tub and shower. I plan to go back sometime and and shop at the outlets and enjoy a spa day."

"The hotel was beautiful, but I had a headache all day the first day I got there from the smoke. The headache came on strong the moment I walked into the casino when I got a whiff of the second hand smoke. The smoke was overwhelming. I'm surprised a fancy hotel like this does not have better ventilation. My friend wanted to go to The Louge in the hotel at night, but I stayed in my room instead because of the smoke. It was so unhealthy and the headache was annoying to have to endure on my vacation. Even outside by the pool people were smoking cigarettes and cigars. It really pissed me off because people were contaminating the air i was breathing. There should be a smoking section to the pool and the casino if they want to allow smoking, and those sections should be closed off so the rest of us don't have to inhale second hand smoke. I would not come back to this hotel until there is a solution to this problem."

"The resort was beautiful and very luxurious for the price we paid to stay the night. The rooms are elegant and clean. Although I must say my husband and I were at the pool soaking up the sun, I had to go to the ladies room slipped and fell and broke two toes.
Security came and took the report and offered a wheel chair but that is all they offered. I think they still need to work on being more compassionate. They could of at least offered to pay for x-rays.
If you go to the pool be very careful when going to the bathroom. I thought I was, but the floor is VERY, VERY, VERY slippery"

"this is a nice hotel. rooms are clean and spacious. staff was friendly. biggest complaint about the room was that there are no coffee makers in the room! this was a big hassle. you have to go downstairs to the coffee shop for coffee in the morning. we asked about getting a coffee make r in the room, and were told only the suites are provided in room coffee makers. this is silly. almost all hotels have in room coffee makers these days. we did get coffee at the java place downstairs and coffee was no good- very, very weak - no taste.
the food at the waters cafe was okay. food at the poker deli ok. pre-made food at the java place was by far the best and reasonable.
the casino is smokey-- yes, very smokey at times- this sucks for non smokers. they had a non smoke part of the casino but this was a joke- totally not enforced and signage is hard to notice.
pool is okay- too crowded and noisy most of the time. they really need another pool in addition to this one. all in all the room was great so that was most important to us."
