The grounds are beautiful. Quality people were staying there. Nice decor. Fresh rooms. The room didn't smell funny. And I like the little makeup remover along with the shampoo and conditioner, that was a nice touch. Quiet rooms...ahhh.

The Hilton Garden Inn, Pismo Beach, is a centrally located hotel that provides easy access to Hwy 101 and Pismo Beach attractions. There are plenty of parking spaces. It is a very clean property, with friendly, professional staff. The check-in process was very smooth and easy. Our room was ready when we arrived. It was clean and well-stocked with toiletries. The check-out process was equally smooth.

I love everything about this hotel. I have stayed here quite a few times over a period of years. I have always enjoyed the food at the restaurant and the view. For some reason, the restaurant is not the same. A visit in April and in May the restaurant food at dinner was not acceptable. I did not have breakfast, so I can't rate that meal. But I love everything else about this property - rooms, view, staff, etc.

I stayed at the hotel for two weeks, the locations is convenient and the staff very helpful. The breakfast was extra, but worth it, I had an amazing egg-white omelet with spinach. Room service restaurant has lots of great option and not expensive. The views from the 4th floor rooms are worth it. The evening gatherings at the Lounge are fun and relaxing. Will book again for my next trip.

I arranged for my daughter and her friends to stay in San Luis on their post high school graduation trip. The San Luis hotel would not let them stay because of their age (18). See other review and don't stay there ever. This Hilton Property was where I was able to arrange for them during my son's middle school graduation. From all reports, the hotel is great. Very nice. Visited downtown Pismo in the evening - our tour bus took those who wanted to go for a few hours- the journey wasn't long and would assume a taxi wouldn't cost much if you needed to do it independently, and there are countless places to eat once there, as well as taking a walk along the pier. We were driving the Pacific Coast Highway and needed a place to stay the night before going up to see the San Simeon Castle. We looked for a HGI and found this lovely property. Right off the highway, nestled into a hillside and looking over the ocean in the distance. The rooms have a clever design where there is a sink and counter area outside of the bathroom, that also has a sink area. Well done.

I booked this hotel thinking that it was in San Luis Obispo because its name says "Hilton Garden Inn San Luis Obispo/Pismo Beach." It's definitely in Pismo Beach though (in case that is the location you want to be). While the hotel itself is physically nice, I was immediately turned off as soon as I started the check in process. The front desk clerk (I should have gotten his name) was snotty and rude. Driving south on the 101 Freeway, there was clearly smoke in the distance. I asked if the... Read more

The rooms were clean and newly renovated. I really don't like these beds that you have to dial up and down. Can't seem to get the right setting. The linens were not as soft as most Hilton. Breakfast was subpar. Staff were pleasant and the room was quiet.

We were traveling on a vacation from the Los Angeles to San Francisco. We were making a stop in the central coast. we decided to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Pismo. We arrived in the later evening after a day at Universal and the drive up. The hotel was very close off the freeway. The check in was fast and easy. The room they gave us for 2 adults and 4 middle school kids was roomy and plenty of space. We checked into the 2 bedroom family suite. This suite had 2 queen beds and a bathroom ... Read more

We were greeted by the Manager who made us feel very welcome & explained where everything was in the hotel. Rooms were large, comfortable & clean. Sleep quality was excellent. Breakfast was served buffet style. Did not appear that there would be enough room for everyone at breakfast if the hotel was full but this did not affect our party. Choices for breakfast appeared quite limited compared to0 previous hotels & some of the fruit bowls took a while to be replenished. Staff were friendly & court... Read more

Our stay was short but very comfortable in this clean and recently updated hotel. The staff was friendly during our check in and out. Our trip was so quick we didn't have the opportunity to eat at this location. We look forward to returning to Pismo and will definitely stay here again.

I was not greeted as a Hilton honors member and did not receive the premium internet service. At the price they charged, they should provide free breakfast.. Great location and nice, quiet room. I hate being held hostage for the price of a hotel room.

I don't typically stay at the Hilton Garden Inn's as the breakfast is not included, but was really happy that I chose this one as my week was very draining and I needed dinner in a pinch. The salad was great. The calimari just so so. They offered a selection of wine that fit my palate well. The room was gorgeous and overlooked the pool and out to the ocean. Perfect.

We are using Hilton points. Not the best view in Pismo Beach but a nice place to stay. Room is above average - spacious and comfortable. Pismo Beach is quite amazing - just another one of those incredible California coastal towns. What a gorgeous spot with access to everywhere.

This hotel was recently remodeled and is in great shape! Everything looks brand new. They did a really nice job on the rooms that are very comfortable and well appointed. You are on the mountain side of Highway 101, but the rooms are quiet and you have easy access to the highway. Plenty of free parking is available.

wasn't a big fan of the beds, they have this adjustment feature to make them firmer or softer, sounds good in theory but jut didn't work for me. We went on this trip with 5 adults and 1 child and there was plenty of room in the 2 room suite for everyone, very convenient and i liked the patio area right outside the room that was close to the parking lot, also very convenient. Sort of a bummer to have to pay extra for breakfast but for the price of the room i'm not complaining. The room was cle... Read more

Reserved two rooms: one for husband and self and one for son, daughter-in-law, and two boys. We enjoyed our rooms and everyone had a great time! Housekeeping was excellent and the pool for warm enough for an evening swim in October.

This property was pretty unique - built down vs built up. Lobby on 4th floor/street level, rooms moving downward on hillside. The place is newer and looks/feels so. Parking was convenient, though we were there on the weekend, don't know how that would change mid week. Room was spacious, we had a king with patio by pool. Only downside - the adjustable bed was set to the lowest/softest position which we didn't discover until a few hours after we'd gone to sleep. The 2nd night we fixed the adjustme... Read more

Our stay in Pismo Beach was very pleasant. The hotel was centrally located to everything we had planned to do in the area and didn't have to drive for more than 10 minutes to any of our locales but far enough away to be very quiet. Plentiful parking and the other guests were also very quiet. The room (King Bed with Patio) was very spacious and liked that the hardwood from the bathroom extended all the way out to the room entrance foyer. The bed had adjustable firmess for both sides. Online check-in got me a room on the bottom floor, almost subterranean, no view. Bedskirt missing, so box-springs and bedframe were exposed. Pathetic Keurig in-room coffee. With all the places to stay in Pismo, you can do better. Room was clean, location right off Hwy 101, ample parking, pleasant staff.

Generally don't have issues with Hilton brand hotels. However, this time, the room I stayed in resulted in severe allergy symptoms. Leaving the room and going outside resulted in a great decrease in symptoms but returning to the room resulted in symptoms returning with a vengeance. Strong correlation there were a lot of allergens in the room.

We stayed on the 4th floor and it was very guiet. We had a Kurig coffee maker in the room with several options. We had two queen beds, a spacious desk to work on. Large TV and very clean bathroom. We've stayed there a number of times and the reason we go back is value. Great price, super breakfast and very helpful and friendly staff.

We spent one night here on our way down the coast as somewhere to stop for the night. Our room was lovely and big with a comfortable bed which could be adjusted to be made softer or more firm. The room was well equipped with a TV, coffee maker and a lovely bathroom with an extra sink/vanity outside the bathroom. We ate dinner at the hotel which was nice. We only had one night here but had a great stay, really comfortable and spacious. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

The beds are horrible!!! They are an air fill mattress that are either too hard or not supportive. Worst bed ive ever slept on! The toilet paper is like sand paper, bring your own. The breakfast is also sad and pathetic. 13$ for powder eggs is sad. Even if you gett an omelet from the kitchen, it's powdered eggs.

We had a great time. It was a little farther from the beach than I anticipated but that wasn't their fault. Loved the view from the room. The only issue I had was there was a little mold in the bathroom and I do not like Hilton's blankets how they have them connected. Staff was great and overall was happy.

We spent one night here but could have stayed longer. From the minute we entered we were greeted with a cookie, check in was speedy, the room was lovely and comfortable and the food and wine was great as well. Breakfast buffet was nice and you could place orders with the chef as well. There were quite a few coach parties using this hotel but this was not a problem at all and we were well looked after.

While driving down the coast I wanted a place that was easy to get to and near to places I wanted to visit. This Hilton Garden Inn was a decent pick. It's your typical HGI, it's clean, has the basic amenities, a simple enough breakfast, friendly staff, and reasonably priced.

The hotel location was great with a nice view of the ocean. Very quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, clean and well kept property. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Our only complaint was that our bed was not as comfortable as the other Hilton's we've stayed at. They are adjustable; however, still not very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again, just not in the bed in room 405! :)

After pre-checking in, driving 7.5 hours on a 5 hour trip starting the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend, you would expect a receptionist to have some semblance of urgency. Instead, I waited behind another guest for nearly 20 minutes while he proceeded to answer 5 phone calls in a row before helping the person in front of me. A digital check in should not take 1/2 hour when there is only 1 person in front of you. I travel for work, I've been in VERY busy hotels and waited even longer. But, in tho... Read more
