Great stay. Was offered early checking because we got there a bit early. Room was clean and comfortable. Check out was easy and fast. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in Palo Alto.

We stayed here on the way to a cruise out of SF. Excellent parking by the elevators. The room was immaculate, and the breakfast was decent. A very good value. There are many good restaurants nearby. Very comfortable beds.

A very nice modern hotel with large rooms and bathrooms with all the facilities that you would expect. Breakfasts were good as we're the evening meals. The staff were friendly and attentive except the gentleman on reception who I took to be the manager. My wife asked him a question and he took a phone call at the same time. One day the breakfast staff were completely overwhelmed by the number of guest wanting a breakfast. This was a holiday and the increased numbers should have been expected.

Relatively new Garden Inn. Located on El Camino Real a few miles from Stanford and downtown Palo Alto. Staff very accommodating. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Parking charge is an additional $14 per day and there is very limited street parking available.

This hotel is modern and welcoming. I stayed on business and the facilities were great. The rooms were clean, bright and modern with plenty of space to work. Communal areas were bright and welcoming. Location great for my business trip but a bit far from the main area of Palo Alto if you were looking to sightsee.

I had never stayed at this HGI. Usually I stay at the one in Mtn. View. This was closer to Stanford so I decided to spend the extra $$ to try it. Unfortunately I could hear the people walking around above me during the night. Also, I asked for an omlette with ham and mushrooms and got runny scrambled eggs instead - not as nice as the breakfast at HGI Mountain View. So, I'm back to Mountain View in the future!

Location is good if you want to be close to Stanford. The rate is high just as any other hotel in the area, but this hotel feels newer and cleaner. The gym was a good size, with good equipment. Rooms felt large, and were generally clean. The elevator was slow, and using the key to get to your floor didn't always work on the first try. Staff was friendly. As far as I know, they did not have a shuttle bus.

I stayed for 5 nights at the Hilton Garden Inn in Palo Alto, CA while there on business. Upon entry into the hotel lobby, you get a sense that the hotel is fairly new. There is a very large lobby with a bar off to the right, and a dining room in the center. It is decorated with modern decor. Check in was quick and easy. I got a room on the street side. At first I was concerned that it might be too noisy, but I could not hear any traffic, even though I was on the second floor. The room was... Read more

Always stay here when in Palo Alto. Always find a fair and competitive price. Very new, clean, property where the beds are great and service exceptional. Nicely located next door to Hobees restaurant for a delicious breakfast.....who doesn't like homemade, warm coffee cake with a dollop of butter???

Too fancy for an HGI, to the point of being garish. The five star service to which they aspire with their surroundings doesn't exist. Case in point, I arrived at breakfast with my HHonors coupon, I was told to sit down and was presented with a bill before I could even get my breakfast. Ummmmm, really? The night auditor had some issues, he was friendly enough but when he checked me in at 2:00 in the morning, he made me a new reservation and left the one I had built to languish as a no show. Five... Room was nice and very similar to those in the newer Hilton Garden Inns: lots of outlets and USB charging ports, an in room Keurig with some free coffee pods (more can be bought in the lobby pantry but my daughter was given some for free) and very aggressive self-closing springs on the room doors which can lead to a lot of door slamming. The fitness room was very spacious with a number of machines, a few barbells and free disposable headphones. Parking was underground beneath the hotel and was ... Read more

Instead of busting my backside to get back to the east coast on a Friday, I decided to take it easy, take advantage of the great low rates on a Friday night and go home at my leisure on Saturday. What a great idea! Getting my in-n-out burger, smooth checkin to this great new, clean facility, easy parking, not too busy, it was a way better way to travel than the Friday rush. Will be sure to aim for another Friday night here again!

We stayed one night while my wife was in town for business. Very clean and convenient to enter and exit. The pool is indoors but not heated, too cold to enjoy. The spa was nice and clean. Room was clean with lots of USB outlets to charge devices. It's not great for familes since there isn't much around the hotel to walk. Great for a business travelers though.

Was there for 1 week, company business trip. The hotel is fair for the money at a Palo Alto level, but far below any Hilton european standards. Rooms have paper on walls, pretty old to be frank, a bit of an outdated design of the room. The hotel was large, clean, personell was polite and helpfull. You cannot pay cash at checkin, you cannot checkin without credit card.

This hotel is in a nice location with many restaurant options in a walkable distance. It's clean and attractive outside and in the lobby. The disappointment started with an average room. Many similar properties I've stayed in have larger or suite-like rooms and almost all of them have either walk-in showers or at a minimum have glass shower enclosures. The rooms are large, luxurious, and clean. Not sure they are worth $400 a night but I guess when visiting CA, you should be prepared to pay CA prices. The staff was particularly pleasant and gave us great service during our stay, especially Tess from the restaurant. Breakfast was excellent, staff was attentive, pool was good for the kids (a tad chilly for the adults), and the staff handled questions and inquiries very nicely, Plus, our room was REALLY quiet (we faced the back of the hotel), which is important to me. I was pleasantly surprised by the Hilton Garden Inn in Palo Alto. The hotel is either new or newly refurbished; either way, it's very nice. My room was spotless and new. The bed was comfy and the pillows were so soft. I had a great night sleep. The bathroom was modern, nice and also spotless with a large LED lighted mirror that provided terrific light for putting on makeup. BIG kudos to the hotel designer for adding a small shelf in the shower for women to place their foot on when shaving ... Read more

Front desk and lounge staff all good other staff rather unfriendly and need to cheer up! Modern spacious room. Small slightly warmed indoor pool. Useful 24 HR pantry. Insulation in rooms not sufficient and noises air conditioning system on top floor rooms. So overall ok but could be better. Overpriced when I stayed - due to special event at Stanford .

This infill Hotel seemed really new and clean, with underground parking included. After checking in for our weekend stay, we enjoyed the indoor pool and jacuzzi. We were disappointed that breakfast wasn't served until 7 am on Saturday morning due to our early morning commitments, and doubly disappointed when we couldn't get our in-room coffee maker to work with no other coffee available in this Hotel. Our breakfast was very nice (for $14.95 each), with service a little rushed and clean-up lag... Read more

We stay here frequently because this hotel is near Stanford Medical and that is the reason for our visits. this hotel is aware that we are there for medical reasons and they are always very responsive to our special needs.

Every hotel basically "sells sleep," but delivering is quite another thing. While the hotel is gorgeous and the service was great, the real litmus test was whether I'd receive a good night's rest. On this night I had perfect temperature, quiet, and the bed was comfy (a little on the firm side, which I like). Woke rested and ready for the next day. Applause to you, team. See ya next time.

Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed. The bed was heavenly and I wish I could take the shower home with me. Good location in Palo Alto and extremely friendly staff. We'll definitely be back.

We were greeted warmly at check in. The downstairs area (bar, lounge) was very cool but no time to enjoy a drink at the bar. The room was very nice--comfortable bed, very clean and quiet. I would stay here again. The prices in this area are a bit high considering the hotel, but the high prices during the week seem standard for Palo Alto.

I stayed for three nights in November 2016. The room was good and spacious with good facilities for working. Service was excellent at reception, at breakfast and at the bar. Large car park underneath and good gym/pool.
