Comfy beds, super clean room, very quiet. Upscale vibe without being pretentious, great location. Kitchen was nice to have and good for preparing more simple meals. Gas grills outside were awesome as well. Pool area was lovely, and there is also a media room with a pool table, big screen tv, and did player. Kitchen notes: pots and pans, silverware, dishes, can opener, corkscrew, two knives (these suck, bring your own if you are cooking much!), measuring cups and spoons, plasticware for leftov... I stay here regularly for business sometimes for up to 2 weeks - so you really get to know the place. The staff are very good, rooms are spotless and the noise level good - ie its pretty quiet. Its close to shops and supermarkets if you want to cater for yourself, as one often does during a long trip - but if not there are plenty of local dining options and a couple of bars that as a female alone, I feel quite comfortable visiting. There is a coin op laundry too if you need that and a pool if ... Read more

This is a newer hotel in Palo Alto, and is a welcome addition to the standard fare on El Camino! Clean and well staffed - a good value for the dollars spent. Strongly recommend and it will be my first choice on my next trip to Palo Alto.

First time staying at Homewood Suites, by Hilton, in Palo Alto. On my last business trip I stayed at another chain, and this was much more pleasant! They had a ceiling fan, which is a rarity in a hotel room, but one I appreciated. The staff was friendly and helpful and my stay was great! If you're going to Palo Alto, I would suggest this place.

Most of the time I stay at Hilton related hotels, which are pretty good and safe and convenient. Breakfast served at the hotels is one of the charms for me. I don't have to think where and what I should eat.I also like the way employees treat us--not overly polite but very efficient. It was nice for us to be able to use the internet and get boarding tickets. nice to be able to stay at place comfortable like home.

We chose Homewood Suites Palo Alto to accommodate all our out of town families for our son's wedding. Everyone from grandpa down to small grandson were happy with their rooms and the hotel amenities. We particularly enjoyed the grill/pool area for an impromptu family BBQ and numerous pool parties. The morning breakfasts were delicious and varied and the eating area was like one big family kitchen. Thanks, Homewood Suites!

This is a new hotel and extremely good. Off course it is expensive but at par with other hotels in the bay area. I am very satisfied with the brand and this hotel stands out. My daughter was running track at Stanford and I work at the fortune 50 company across the street from Stanford so the location of Homewood suites was perfect. My 12 year old decided to stay in room and watch TV and the hotel is completely safe. Staff is great and very friendly. I will stay there again.

I stayed at the Homewood Suites in PAlo Alto in June. The suite was very comfortable with a soaker tub. They have underground parking that is very secure. The breakfast and the cocktail hour were nice treats. Loved having access to hot beverages all the time. The kitchen was well stocked. Members of my group that had traveled with their families were also thrilled with their accommodations.

The accommodations were very nice. Clean and spacious rooms. The breakfast was good for as far as 'not fresh cooked" breakfasts go. The staff worked hard to keep food in the bins as there were a great deal of customers. I liked the location of the hotel the most. Just far enough away to keep a lot of traffic down, but close enough to be within 20 minutes of beach and forests....

We had an excellent experience here and would recommend it. Having said that, I resent being told that I have to write 200 words. It is a waste of my time. Especially being told that before this sentence i had only used 157 words. I am not going to post any more reviews on TripAdvisor until they remove the minimum word requirement!!!

Good location, staff and room. Brand new hotel, large rooms with convenience. Bathrooms also large with good light for change. Good breakfast and beverages in happy hour. Was a nice stay for the 9 nights I spent there.
