Something for everyone! The Palm Springs Tennis Club is an excellent tennis resort, with a fine restaurant (Spencer's: elegant, upscale, with a beautiful patio area, attentive service and consistently rated the best in the desert), a location within walking distance of the old Palm Springs shopping district and many more fine restaurants, and recently refurbished hotel accommodations that are elegant, spacious, and comfortable. There's a delightful adult pool and spa a short stroll from Spenc... Read more

The only reason this is not rated a 1 is because it is in a good location. We were informed on check-in that we would be moved during our stay and the clerk seemed surprised that I was not told about it. I called a few days prior and specifically asked where we would be, and was told that rooms were not assigned until check-in. Apparently they then have no issue with playing musical chairs with your rooms, incredibly inconveniencing, and then not even blinking about doing it. This meant we had t... Read more

Contrary to the immediately prior review to this, we have found the customer service to be excellent here. And I know customer service as I operate two hotels. The grounds are immaculate, the service at the front desk has been nearly exceptional and housekeeping has been prompt and thorough. We are in a one bedroom unit and it is a bit tight for the 4 of us, but we knew that when we made the reservations. The kitchen is pretty well-stocked and the room is in good repair and clean. There are... Read more

This resort is beautiful. Our unit is very nice! It is close to downtown. Palm Springs is a cute little town. We went on the tram ride and all I have to say is if you don't like heights, don't go. I can't believe I spent $25.00 to be scared to death. There are a lot of Indian casinos in the area.

Beautiful grounds and rated higher than the timeshare we stayed at: Vista Mirage. I would stay at the Tennis Club next time around for a 2 bdr and the Welk Resort, Cathedral City, for a 1 bdr!!! I would recommend Tennis Club if you love a lot of greenery and don't have a lot of allergies!!!!

I have owned at the Tennis Club for years, but usually bank my time and use as an exchange. I has a week expiring and school was out for the family, so I booked and am happy I did! We stayed in the Center Court rooms (coincidentally the type of unit I "own" - sleeps 4 and has 2 full bathrooms!). Was pleased to see the unit was nicely upgraded! The bed in the master was comfortable. The couch in the living area also folds out. There are wall air conditioners in the bedroom and living area w... Read more

It was a beautiful late-spring evening. Desert brush, wildlife and breezes were abundant. Roads as clean and clear as my thoughts. The scent of daytime heat was leaving the air and filling with cool juniper, and wet grass. Giant energy producing white windmills in my peripheral added to the surreal twilight. After a short jaunt through the now quiet and sleepy downtown; we arrive. Greeted with majestic eucalyptus and a soothing waterfall fountain I climb the stairs to the perfectly furnished mi... It was just a one night stay this past weekend, but it was enough for us to know that it will be on our list of places to stay when in Palm Springs. We have stayed in several places in Palm Springs that have been lovely and so our expectations are always high. This gem certainly met our expectations. We had just completed the 11 mile hike from the top of the tram to the top of Mt. San Jacinto (10,800 feet), so yes, you could say we were a bit tired. As you drive in to the busy main street, y... Hmmm....where to start. There is a lot of things that my family and I did not enjoy about this resort. 1) The rooms need to be updated majorly...they are very outdated and things (such as towel racks in the bathroom) are starting to fall apart. These styles may have been great in the 40's but it's 2016 now, so some renovations need to be made. 2) The pools. Don't even get me started on this subject. The "family pool" is smaller than most people's backyard pools. It's sad they even call it a poo... Read more

As part of our time share we spent a week at the Palm Springs Tennis Club. We were a little disappointed when we arrive and saw our room had only a mini-fridge. It was a studio but I expected a full fridge. But is was never a problem. We headed out to the "adult" pool and found it to be very clean, with many chaises and tables and chairs. The other guests were very friendly and I will say we spent most of our vacation enjoying the pool. They have many activities for families and couples(wii bowlin... Read more

Had a awesome time with family. The resort is very accommodating, well equipped with all amenities and close to the downtown. Breakfast has a variety of options to choose from and is made delicious. Will surely visit again in Spring and Winter.
