The food and staff were actually very nice... but the actual physical property is old and tired. One of the main elevators didn't work at all during our trip - and with several big groups in town, it was a bit tough to get up to higher floor rooms.

The hotel had very courteous staff and was centrally located. Nice pool and free airport shuttle. Great deck for people watching onto the street below. Convention of dancing girls with moms and coaches making a ruckus in common spaces. Only one elevator working with no stairs to second floor except emergency stairs. I'd stay there again, but I'd call first to find out about concurrent happenings in the city.

Stayed with family in 3 rooms for two nights end of January. This is high season for Palm Springs so rate was reasonable. Plenty of free city parking next door so no need to pay $25 for the hotel Valet. The location is great, right in downtown within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, art museum, theatre and many other things. The rooms are clean and spacious, bed was comfortable and it was nice having a separate living room area. Bathroom was nice and large. Room was quiet and view of t... Read more

The Hyatt Palm Springs hotel is in an excellent location in the heart of Palm Springs. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, pubs, coffee shops on every corner. All amenities are literally right across the street.

We had rented a condo for 2 weeks, and decided to spend our last 4 days in the centre of town at the Hyatt. First thing you notice when you walk in is the wonder aroma of green tea and fig scent. Dawn at the front dest was a treasure, and gave us a wonderful room with view as requested. ALL of the staff too many to mention including cleaning staff were wonderful, which is always my main priority. One other favourite was Mauro at the front desk, who could not have been more friendly and helpful a... Read more

I said the opening to this review to the front desk person and she laughed, it's true. The design to the exterior of the property was a popular one in the sixties much like the round Holiday Inns. It's a much better design. San Francisco has one, oh be it updated. Back to the hotel, it's past it's prime and needs a major overhaul, it is clean though. Open main lobby small bar /restaurant off to the side. Very friendly front desk staff as well as the valet. It's when you get off the elevator on... Read more

Broken coffee maker, poor low-flush toilet, phone came apart in my hand, wi-fi adequate...but not super. Comp upgrade and early check-in was very nice. $25/day valet parking steep for Palm Springs. Staff pleasant but a tad profunctory.

Great location, hotel is a little dated but don't' let that influence your decision it's very clean and they work hard at making you comfortable. Rooms are large and the balcony is so nice to have. Pool is perfect and the free bikes was a nice perk.

This room did have 2 beds but it was very small. There wasn't a desk or a table. We were told we couldn't change rooms. We stayed for 5 nights. The bathroom was large but had an old ja... Read more
