The nicely resorted vintage property offers guests an upscale rustic environment. The morning continental breakfast and evening beer/wine were great additions from my first stay at the hotel. A great pool, complimentary bikes and short walk to the desert-scape wash running trail are good substitutions for a gym (not avail). This is a very nice, comfortable boutique hotel that I would recommend to family and friends. I would avoid room 12 as the florescent lighting from the kitchen shines into th... Read more

We were looking for somewhere to get a relaxing lunch when we saw an adorable sign with two birds silhouetted on a twig. Out of curiosity, we pulled in to check it out. What an adorable discovery. The lodge is a classy throw-back to the glory days of PS. The Barn is open air and we sat in the courtyard for lunch. The server was eager to please and our meals were delicious! I ordered the daily special which was Miso soup. Hubby had a burger. Both meals came with a salad that was topped with an am... Read more

We have tried most of the hip Palm Springs hotels and Sparrows Lodge is our favorite. Very low-key, it is reminiscent of old desert inns of the past with a very modern almost Ralph Lauren-like vibe. Ashley and Jon at the bar (which doubles as the front desk) are great hosts. It is far too hip to have boring conventional mini bars, tv's or clock radios ! We watch our own tv on our iPads anyway. If you want to escape the relentless modernism of all the other Palm Springs hotels this is the pla... Read more

So hip, so cool. My wife and I often love to drive out to Palm Springs from Laguna Beach to get away for a couples weekend. This rustic classic quality boutique hotel is perfect for us. Perfectly designed with stone, vaulted wood ceilings and horse trough for bath. Pool is calm with light music. Staff is great. Jackie and Ashley took great care of us. Every detail was considered with Sparrows Lodge down to the great drinks and frozen grapes they hand out at the pool. If your looking for D... Read more
