Everyone is always so friendly and helpful! All of the staff goes above and beyond, and it showed especially during this stay when my car battery was dead the staff leaped to the rescue! Jon and Kirsten were my heroes, and Jon called his own AAA membership and saved the day. I am always astounded by the service, the peaceful and lovely nature of the property, and what a real gem of an experience I always have on account of all the great people who work there.

This place is absolutely dreamy. We were trying to decide between the Sparrows and the Parker. So glad we chose the Sparrows. If you're there on a Saturday or a Wednesday, do yourself a favor and attend their family style dinner under the arbor. It's quite lovely. Only real criticism is that the WiFi was pretty spotty.

My husband and I came here for a two night getaway from our three kids. It is a very casual greeting when you walk in. You are shown your room and left to figure things out for yourself. Our room was #2, right by the loud road. It was loud at night. Also too bright. The music playing all over the place was a little annoying but they changed their selection after a few hours and it got better. The dinners they serve. Family style, on Wednesdays and Saturdays are quite popular. I wish they had t... Read more

If I could create a boutique hotel experience...I would create Sparrows!! Beautiful ranch style meets Pam springs modernism. Ambience so relaxing and charming. Diverse crowds. Great central farmhouse style bar and small kitchen to keep you happy. Great pool to lounge and swim in. Communal energy. Staff hired to run the place are fantastic, happy, social creatures! Enough said!

Loved everything about our four days at Sparrow Lodge! No TV's, No phones, it was a total escape once you walked inside the front entry lobby of Sparrow Lodge. Loved the diversity of the visitors, loved the serenity of the gardens and the barn. The only thing I would say is that the rooms are quite dark but in a way, I even loved that as it made a cool reprieve from the 98 degree temperatures outside. Thanks to everyone at Sparrow Lodge for a wonderful visit, we'll be back!!!!

As I walked through the doors of this rustic, unassuming, boutique style hotel, five star service was on point! It was 101 degrees, the misters shrouded the pool in a light fog, and I made my way past the beautifully paved deck and into the Barn Kitchen where I was greeted by the ever gracious Levi. He promptly poured me one of the best Sangria's ever, and showed me around Sparrows Lodge. The service did not stop there. Tim, another super star, was quick to please and constantly aimed to make ev... Read more

There are so many things that set Sparrows Lodge apart from other places to stay in Palm Springs but if I was to sum them up in one word it would be 'DETAIL' Our poolside room was impeccably furnished, spotlessly clean and smelt amazing. The 'rain' shower in the open plan bathroom had great pressure and although we didn't use the trough bath it too, looked amazing. Any noise from the pool did not disturb us at all even with guests able to swim until 11pm. It wasn't until later in our stay tha... Read more

This casual quaint has just the right amount of a rustic lodge feel! My room had a queen, with a walk in rock shower and backyard patio. They have some amazing art on the grounds and the rooms. The service is top notch and the welcome sangria was a real treat. They provide a delicious breakfast with the room that included a buffet style set up of quiche, coffee, juices, fruits, breads and more. The pool is situated in the middle of the front half of the lodge and is very pleasant with ... Read more

This was an interesting place to stay in Palm Springs. Naturally it is boiling hot in the summer. Pool was very warm and nestled in between half of the accommodations. Friendly vibe, good staff and simple breakfasts included. We were upgraded to Owners room. Large, open plan living and bedroom. Note - no fridge, tea/coffee in room, pretty dark and thin walls. Car needed to get about. Overall a very good experience.

This was our 3rd visit and it just keeps getting better & better! Love the peace, calm, pampering pleasure of just being here. The attention to details and the quality of service are stellar. The breakfast was yummy and beautifully presented and of course the bed is super comfy. There is everything to enjoy about a stay here.

Wife and I spent a night at Sparrow Lodge last Wednesday during an anniversary road trip. Hadn't heard of the property before but was ranked very well by Trip Advisor. Small boutique property - previously used as a horse stable. Levi got us checked in and offered a nice white sangria. Property is quiet...which I didn't expect but ended up loving. A modestly sized pool and spa are lined by high-end (Tucci) lounges and umbrellas. Misters are conveniently hung close by to reduce impact of th... Read more

Sparrows Lodge is so cute. It's shabby chic glamping with all the perks of a resort. You check in at a barn bar where you are greeted with a complimentary sangria...so delish and refreshing. If you are fortunate enough to meet Levi, he's the best. After five minutes with him you feel like you have been longtime friends. He is there to take care of any need you may have and he's funny and entertaining in the process. I can't speak highly enough of Sparrows Lodge you just need to check it out... Read more

Wonderful from the moment we entered the property - felt at home in this quaint hidden gem in the desert! Enjoyed the steak tasting dinner by Chef Gabriel! Drinks and food were amazing! Truly an unforgettable experience - cant wait to come back!

I really didn't want to write this review because I don't want other people to know about this hidden gem! First of all, it's 21 and over only - so no families with kids or underage drinkers looking to party - it's simply relaxing! Isn't that what you want in a vacation? Second, it's only 20 rooms! So max, like 40 people there at a time. AMAZING. When you enter this adorable little hotel, you have to walk by a gorgeous pool into a cute little barn where hopefully you are greeted by the most ma... Read more

What can I say about this place that hasn't already been posted? My man and I were looking for a quiet getaway after a very busy few months and this could not have been a more perfect choice. It's totally tucked away right in a great area of downtown Palm Springs! We were greeted with delicious white sangria upon checkin, and we were led to our beautiful poolside room with a tour of the grounds that smell like the freshly burned sage they use. There are misters everywhere to help with the heat a... Read more

We were lucky to find this little oasis in the desert. It was the perfect balance of location and size of complex. We felt right at home, and didn't feel a need to leave the grounds. We thank Jackie, Ashley and Tim for making our trip an extra special weekend.

This place is amazing!!! All the way around....decor....staff,food,rooms the swimming pool. I have traveled a lot and this is by far my favorite!! John and the two girls who checked us in are amazing. Weather was 111 but only felt like 90 due to the cool rooms the swimming pool and the misters. We were waited on like we were royalty. This is the only place we will ever stay at when we come back to Palm Springs.

This hotel has very few services, which may be to it's detriment, but also can lead to a pleasant unplugged stay. No Tvs in the rooms, no restaurant, no kids... there's still wifi, of course... The rooms are large, decorated like a modern barn. The finishes and fixtures leave a bit to be desired as it's all a bit handmade feeling, but for some reason it doesn't matter. It's a good LA, industry, trying to look like your not trying too hard type of place.

Even in the midst of the blazing hot summer, the lodge is fully booked. Misters and umbrellas make the 100 plus temps more than manageable. Couples bob and float together in the pool, laughing and reconnecting as they say goodbye to the daily stressors of life. If you are looking for a place to read, reconnect and visit with like minded people...the Sparrow's Lodge is the ultimate place to unwind. Oh, and did I mention the sangria is divine?

Delicious food, quiet surroundings. The best! Perfect place to chill and talk, read, relax and get your head on straight! Not terribly close to anything to do, so Uber is definitely part of the plan. Great food/drinks there, so don't stress.

This hotel is what a retreat should be. The atmosphere is distinctive and inviting. It is old California with old California manners. The rooms are sparse but not Spartan, and you had your own outdoor retreat in case you didn't want to be poolside. The staff, Levi, Jackie, Timothy, Israel, Ashley, Gabriel and Kristyn, are attentive without being clawing. The family-style dinner was an absolute delight and they could not have been better hosts if it was their own home. The chicken salad sandwich... Read more
