I was a guest at the Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel from 9 thru 15 May 2016. On the morning of 10 May I used my wallet in the room and did not take it from the room. When I was alone in the room and in the shower I heard the room door open. I had a privacy sign on the door and did not expect anyone to enter.I called out to the person entering and he answered in a male voice. Thinking that he was a person to refresh the room I asked that he return later. I left the room to go to the pool and t... Read more

I stayed here for five days for a conference. They were very attentive for our needs. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom had a nice layout. The carpet could use a good cleaning. The gym was perfect for my needs. The pool area was beautiful. They delivered flavored water to you poolside. Drinks were pricey as was the food. Only 3.5 blocks to downtown. Would recommend to anyone.

This hotel was perfect for our recent conference! The bed was wonderful, staff were responsive, the food was great and the service was excellent. There is a lot of walking involved, so if you have trouble getting around you must ask for a room near the elevator. Even then, there is a considerable amount of walking, especially if you are frequenting the adjacent convention center. But asking for the closer room gave me a parking lot view and no balcony.

I think I got off to a bad start when I arrived. I had checked in on line for a 2 PM check-in which was confirmed by email. When I arrived at the hotel, the parking staff were somewhat cold. When I got to the check-in counter I was informed that my room was not ready and that the online checkin didn't mean that my room would be ready when I said I would check in. I am a platinum member and this was news to me. The lady behind the desk then informed me very brusquely that they would call whe... Read more

Staff were excellent. Especially enjoyed Darla who checked us in, Gerardo who picked us up at the airport and took us around in the shuttle, Betty, and others (I have forgotten names. ) They were always helpful and attentive. Pool and whirlpool were lovely. Room had a loud air conditioner, and carpeting was quite dirty. it is not a brand new place, so some of this expected. it is also very busy and always full, so I imagine it is hard to "clean/wash" carpeting and keep the business going. The Renaissance Hotel has a reputation for great service and facilities at a reasonable price, and the one in Palm Springs, CA did not disappoint. Besides having the largest pool in Palm Springs, the staff is incredibly friendly and willing to help out with any needs. Every day, I was greeted with a warm "Good morning" and a smile. The rooms are very comfortable, the gym facility is open 24/7 and is well maintained, and the breakfast buffet was a great way to start each day. Internet access ... Read more

We spent a weekend in Palm Springs. The hotel got all you need to have a pleasant stay including outdoor sitting area near swimming pool. Rooms are big and clean. The city center is in a bit long walking distance. Overall experience was very nice and it's got all amenities you need.

I've decided to now write my reviews as my experiences transpire as opposed to when I return home. Being on the road for business 2 weeks a month can be both a blessing and a curse. After a 6 hour drive from a 4 night stay at my favorite Renaissance Hotel in Las Vegas I found myself unexpectedly in Palm Springs. The website of his property looked delightful so I pulled over on the 10 to book a room so I did not have to make the final 2.5 hour trek home to Redondo Beach at 10:00. Having to end... Read more

We had a great weekend. We were there during memorial weekend so it was a bit of a party scene on Saturday, but not a big deal. I guess I am not that old and grumpy yet. I think on a normal weekend it would probably be very peaceful. The hotel layout is very cool if you just want to hang out at hotel, lobby is a cool place to do so lots of TV's. The strip is walking distance, but I wouldn't do it. Hotel does have shuttle to take you to strip. I did read reviews before there was some statements a... Read more

We've been staying at this hotel for probably the last 8 or 9 years, starting back when it was a Wyndham and I can't remember when we've enjoyed our stay more than over this past Memorial Day weekend. Normally we always go to Las Vegas for the holiday but decided to try Palm Springs since it's so close. Every team member that we came into contact with was wonderful, including Daniel at the pool bar, Jeremiah at the lobby bar, Fanita our wonderful server, and so many others! I must say though ... I have to say, we had a wonderful experience this weekend!! We just decided to sneak away with some friends and stay 2 nights. Its was oversold....huge conference in town so we were stuck waiting almost 4 hours for our room (ok, we got there early, had requested early check in but when we got there, the people had not checked out....2 hours later....they had screwed up and those folks were not checking out at all so they put us in a different room that had been ready for awhile...that was the o... Excellent Experience during our 2 night stay with Family. Check in process was smooth where we were being serviced by Jackie whom was kind enough to give us a pool view and allowed me to have a late check out. The hotel wasn't that busy which is great because we were able to enjoy the Gym and Pool without it being crowded. When requesting extra towels and pillows, the staff quickly brought them to our room. The beds very comfy and rooms spacious and clean! Enough outlets for our chargers and lap... Read more

To put it in context we stayed at this hotel for two nights in June 2016. This is the off-season in Palm Spring hence the hotel only cost circa. £80 per night ($120).it was advertised as four star which seamed appropriate. The hotel has a large spacious modern lobby and we were greeted by a lovely lady on arrival - she gave us free overnight parking In terms of parking, self parking is 6USD per night and there was optional Valet. I would descrIbe the room as no thrills. It wasn't overly impr... Read more

Actually stayed at both Hilton and Renaissance, as I had a couple free nights at the Hilton. While both are similar hotels near town and convention center I preferred the Renaissance. We were on vacation and the Renaissance has a more resort like atmosphere and a huge pool. Very pleasant and responsive staff. Killer view of mountains from room facing town and mountains. (Important as some rooms have view of mountains in the distance.) Did the breakfast plan and buffet was nice including high... Read more
