I was a guest at the Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel from 9 thru 15 May 2016. On the morning of 10 May I used my wallet in the room and did not take it from the room. When I was alone in the room and in the shower I heard the room door open. I had a privacy sign on the door and did not expect anyone to enter.I called out to the person entering and he answered in a male voice. Thinking that he was a person to refresh the room I asked that he return later. I left the room to go to the pool and t... Read more

I stayed here for five days for a conference. They were very attentive for our needs. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom had a nice layout. The carpet could use a good cleaning. The gym was perfect for my needs. The pool area was beautiful. They delivered flavored water to you poolside. Drinks were pricey as was the food. Only 3.5 blocks to downtown. Would recommend to anyone.

This hotel was perfect for our recent conference! The bed was wonderful, staff were responsive, the food was great and the service was excellent. There is a lot of walking involved, so if you have trouble getting around you must ask for a room near the elevator. Even then, there is a considerable amount of walking, especially if you are frequenting the adjacent convention center. But asking for the closer room gave me a parking lot view and no balcony.

I think I got off to a bad start when I arrived. I had checked in on line for a 2 PM check-in which was confirmed by email. When I arrived at the hotel, the parking staff were somewhat cold. When I got to the check-in counter I was informed that my room was not ready and that the online checkin didn't mean that my room would be ready when I said I would check in. I am a platinum member and this was news to me. The lady behind the desk then informed me very brusquely that they would call whe... Read more

Staff were excellent. Especially enjoyed Darla who checked us in, Gerardo who picked us up at the airport and took us around in the shuttle, Betty, and others (I have forgotten names. ) They were always helpful and attentive. Pool and whirlpool were lovely. Room had a loud air conditioner, and carpeting was quite dirty. it is not a brand new place, so some of this expected. it is also very busy and always full, so I imagine it is hard to "clean/wash" carpeting and keep the business going. The Renaissance Hotel has a reputation for great service and facilities at a reasonable price, and the one in Palm Springs, CA did not disappoint. Besides having the largest pool in Palm Springs, the staff is incredibly friendly and willing to help out with any needs. Every day, I was greeted with a warm "Good morning" and a smile. The rooms are very comfortable, the gym facility is open 24/7 and is well maintained, and the breakfast buffet was a great way to start each day. Internet access ... Read more

I've decided to now write my reviews as my experiences transpire as opposed to when I return home. Being on the road for business 2 weeks a month can be both a blessing and a curse. After a 6 hour drive from a 4 night stay at my favorite Renaissance Hotel in Las Vegas I found myself unexpectedly in Palm Springs. The website of his property looked delightful so I pulled over on the 10 to book a room so I did not have to make the final 2.5 hour trek home to Redondo Beach at 10:00. Having to end... Read more

We had a great weekend. We were there during memorial weekend so it was a bit of a party scene on Saturday, but not a big deal. I guess I am not that old and grumpy yet. I think on a normal weekend it would probably be very peaceful. The hotel layout is very cool if you just want to hang out at hotel, lobby is a cool place to do so lots of TV's. The strip is walking distance, but I wouldn't do it. Hotel does have shuttle to take you to strip. I did read reviews before there was some statements a... Read more

We've been staying at this hotel for probably the last 8 or 9 years, starting back when it was a Wyndham and I can't remember when we've enjoyed our stay more than over this past Memorial Day weekend. Normally we always go to Las Vegas for the holiday but decided to try Palm Springs since it's so close. To put it in context we stayed at this hotel for two nights in June 2016. This is the off-season in Palm Spring hence the hotel only cost circa. £80 per night ($120).it was advertised as four star which seamed appropriate. The hotel has a large spacious modern lobby and we were greeted by a lovely lady on arrival - she gave us free overnight parking In terms of parking, self parking is 6USD per night and there was optional Valet. The service people were always attentive, maybe not always smiling. The rooms are clean and nice. However, the toulet was broken on arrival and the handle just sitting on the counter. This shows lack of attention to detail. There are no resort fees: good. But parking is $12 a night: not good. Overall, it is close to downtown and the airport.

This hotel is very nice, clean, and quiet. The oil was very quiet and relaxing and cabanas were not over priced like so many other hotels. The hotel staff was friendly, the rooms were clean/comfortable, and I loved having a patio off the back of my room. The pool deck is very laid-back and family friendly. I was not traveling with children, but the kids that were there were having a great time and not impacting my quiet time. The location is great for a short walk downtown for meals/shopping. By the end of the day some littering was to be found around the pool area. People ordering in some pizza and delivery boxes were just anywhere. A bit strange. We ate in the bar. Bar was a bit chaotic because understaffed. But very helpful an friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay. Loved this place.

Very nice hotel and welcoming ambience upon entry. I had a room with a pool view which is great because you also get a partial mountain view. Rooms are well maintained and friendly staff. Directly across the street from a movie theater which is nice. I do wish that there was some type of covered parking, the summer heat is intense on the car. One minor issue is the lack of channel variety. Only HBO Family? Why not more selection for adults like regular HBO and Showtime.
