We took a few days from our visit to LA to spend in Palm Springs. The springtime weather was great there - comfortable with clear skies. Reservations were made ahead of time at the Hilton Palm Springs hotel. Our queen-bedroom was large, clean and quiet. There was a gym on-site, and we had the chance to explore the area a bit. There were no negatives I cold think of regarding our accommodation. Though we ate breakfast at the hotel, the dinner restaurant, as I recall, was not operating. No... Read more

You will likely spend some quality time at the pool right? I experienced (3) other hotel's pool scenes & the Hilton's was the best. You will be pampered by great water, (at the right temperature), plenty of comfortable places to relax and friendly pool attendant staff.

This is a wonderful hotel. The rooms are large and clean (which I am very picky about) and each has a balcony with chairs and small table, it was nice to look out over the pool. The beds are very comfortable. Conveniently located to all the shops and restaurants as well as the convention center. The pool was very nice as well as the bar service there. All Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Would stay there again if I get the chance.

My best friend, her husband, their one year old and I spent two nights over the Memorial Day weekend. The hotel is in a great location only a block away from the downtown Palm Springs. The service we received was top notch and the staff really seem to enjoy their jobs. The poolside bartenders are great and full of personality. Our room was the perfect size for us and the beds were comfortable; even the sofa bed. :) We didn't want to leave! We'll be back for sure!

I reviewed this hotel some years ago. The first time around, I was not impressed and frankly, I was a little hesitant to stay here again- I pulled the trigger and we stayed here last Thursday through Saturday. Overall the hotel has gone through an update. The remodel looks great, an update contemporary look. The rooms are spacious and we had a balcony that over looks the pool. The AC works well! This is important in Palm Springs! Overall a good stay and central location - walkable to the strip.... Read more

Hotel provides a free transfer from the nearby Palm Springs airport. (Fly into Palm Springs if you can as it is so much easier than worrying about traffic to Ontario or LA). So we were advised to wait at the flagpole. Every pole at the airport has a flag or banner. Called back - reception gal wasn't sure about proper flagpole. We figured it was the American flag pole in center of airport, which we actually didn't notice at first after 2 connection trip from east. Van pulls up and stops dead 2... Read more

I normally forget to review, but I wanted to give a special thanks to the bar staff, Frankie & Dlilah who really made our stay special. They went out of their way, and were friendly & attentive. We would go back just for them! The bar layout & food at the newly refurbished Hilton is excellent. The pool is great too. It was definitely quite busy when we stayed this weekend, but I'll be back for a midweek stay at some point, and next time I'll stay for a couple of nights.

I'm never coming back. I have never been so disappointed. The staff didn't seem to care when it was brought to their attention. The clerk that checked me in had a really nonchalant attitude & if I could have got my refund I would have left.

Nice room, not enough staff to handle the hotel. Rooms not ready until very late (well past published check in times). No valet and they needed it as the lot was full. Lots of waiting around due to the lack of staff.

The valet staff was friendly upon check in. The pool staff was excellent, helpful and friendly with guests, new many by name. Our room had a funny smell and bathtub needed some maintenance, was dirty around the edges.

The hotel is located close to center of town, near a variety of restaurants and shopping. Several casinos and the convention center are located within walking distance. The facility is clean, and has a good pool with a poolside bar. The staff was extremely helpful. The only downside was that the bar and restaurant tended to close a little early.

Overall, the hotel is very nice and accommodating; however, they have preset temperature of 72 degrees for the room. I need my room cooler than 72 degrees especially sleeping with a comforter and in an extreme hot temperature area like Palm Springs. I was not very comfortable at night so that made my nights miserable. I don't get that...preset temperature. That needs to change. Not sure if I would return just based on that.

The hotel is within walking distance of everything we needed. Parking was a bit pricey but we just found parking on the street for our whole stay. The rooms we nice size and clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and nice as well. The pool was the best part! Pool is a nice size and the pool bar had great food, drinks and staff were great!

We were in Palm Springs for a wedding and this hotel was chosen by the couple as a nice place to stay. We had a group rate that as $145 a night, which I though was a great rate. We chose to park on the street and there was plenty of parking very close to the hotel - in fact it was just outside the parking lot - and that saved the $18 per night parking fee. There is PLENTY of shopping and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel which also made it very nice to park the car and leave it.... Read more

We have had our accommodation for our 3 week California Road trip booked for nearly a year and had chosen to stay for two nights at The Renaissance in Palm Springs. We learnt two days before we were due to arrive that they had cancelled our booking in favour of a larger group booking - disgraceful! Our travel agent managed to get us in to The Hilton. On arrival, we were allocated a lovely Junior Suite. Our request for a top floor quiet room was met. It was very spacious, extremely comfortable be... Read more

We ordered room service in the morning, RUDE on the phone, order was wrong, I called back to say my omelet was incorrect but we were heading out so I didn't want anything different. To my surprise, the guy came back up to our room and tried to take EVERYTHING. I was still trying to eat my oatmeal, and he then proceeded to argue with me that the order was correct - it was not. Great affordable option in Palm Springs. Rooms have been recently updated as has the pool. Parking is $18/night for self-parking and you can park right outside your room. I didn't use the restaurant, but the pool bar is pretty good.

Yes we had a view of the mountains but we also had a view of the parking lot and street ...Not what I call beautiful you could hear the cars . The bathroom door was squeaky. I went to Palm Springs by myself to attend a conference. I left my daughter and husband in Bakersfield, 3+ hrs drive to Palm Springs but the comfort and cleanliness of the guest room made a great difference despite my homesickness. I had very good sleep. It was good that there's small fridge for my fruits and packed snacks and hot water for my tea. I got all I need in the room.

Staff was courteous and knowledgeable, room was always clean and made up when I returned. I thought that the self parking was a little pricey but did enjoy the complimentary shuttle to downtown and for pick up. Driver was very courteous and helpful. Wish they had water 24hrs in lobby. Breakfast vouchers included in HHonors Gold so utilized that and ordered their Benedict which was very delicious! Overall pleasant stay while attending a conference next door!

This hotel has a pretty good location for conventions and to be downtown. The recent renovation is pretty nice and that staff are great and helpful. The rooms have been updated recently and are nice. Palm Springs was very quiet when we were just there. What a nice change from the chaos and traffic of LA. The staff in the Hilton were lovely. They put us in a huge room with a balcony facing the pool and the mountains. We never saw one person in the pool or hot tub. It was beautiful. There were only a few hotel guests and we felt like this property was our palace. Free parking was across the street, so didn't have to suffer the huge parking fees in LA.
